My Experience with Ultima Markets PAMM
My Experience with Ultima Markets PAMM: Withdrawal Issues, Disputed Terms, and Total Investment Loss
I am sharing my personal experience with Ultima Markets and its PAMM investment service because I suffered a significant financial loss and believe other investors should be aware of the issues I encountered.
I hope that by sharing my experience, I can help other investors ask the right questions and exercise caution before committing their money to a PAMM investment arrangement.
1. My Attempt to Withdraw My Investment
I invested money through a PAMM investment service associated with Ultima Markets.
At a certain point, I decided that I no longer wanted to continue with the investment. I wanted to withdraw my entire investment and exit the PAMM arrangement to protect my remaining capital.
However, I encountered problems with the withdrawal process. I was informed that approval from the PAMM manager or operator was required, and I was unable to resolve the withdrawal issue in the way I had intended.
I wanted to withdraw all my funds, but the situation was not resolved satisfactorily. I have now lost my entire investment.
My concern is not simply that I experienced trading losses. My concern is that when I decided to withdraw my funds and stop investing, I encountered withdrawal-related difficulties that were not resolved to my satisfaction.
2. Questions About Profit-Sharing Rates and Withdrawal Requirements
I also have serious concerns about discrepancies between the conditions I saw advertised and those that appeared to apply to my account.
The website hftcopytrading.com advertised a profit-sharing rate of 25%, whereas my account appeared to reflect a rate of 50%.
In addition, I was informed of a minimum withdrawal requirement of USD 5,000, which I could not identify in the information available to me on the website.
I want to understand the contractual basis for these conditions, when they were established, and whether they were clearly disclosed to me before I invested.
Investors should be able to understand the fees, profit-sharing arrangements, and withdrawal restrictions associated with their investments before committing their money.
3. Communication Problems with the PAMM Manager
I initially communicated with the PAMM manager through Telegram.
When I raised concerns about withdrawing my funds and attempted to resolve the situation, the manager subsequently blocked me on Telegram.
This made it much more difficult to communicate directly with the person managing my investment and to obtain clarification about my withdrawal request.
In my opinion, investors should be able to receive reasonable explanations and communicate effectively with the people responsible for managing their investments, particularly when they are attempting to withdraw their funds.
4. My Experience with Ultima Markets Customer Support
I contacted Ultima Markets customer support several times in an attempt to resolve the matter.
I received responses indicating that my concerns had been forwarded to the relevant department and that an account manager would follow up with me and the PAMM manager.
I was also informed that an investigation into the trading or account issue could take approximately one to three business days.
However, I was looking for more than a referral to another department or a general assurance that my case was being reviewed.
I wanted clear answers about why my withdrawal request was not resolved, why the applicable conditions appeared to differ from the information I had seen, and what steps would be taken to investigate the circumstances surrounding my losses.
I remain concerned about the handling of my complaint and whether my concerns were addressed with sufficient urgency.
5. The Financial Consequences
I have now lost my entire investment.
I understand that financial markets involve risk and that trading losses can occur. I am not claiming that every investment loss automatically makes a broker responsible.
However, I believe the withdrawal difficulties, the apparent discrepancies in the inves
