The product itself is fine, but the customer support is dreadful - they seem to have no understanding of the word “service.”

While I was on holiday, my subscription expired. A direct-debit payment was set up, but the credit card linked to it had expired; I only noticed this once I returned home. Support told me that my bank had disputed the transaction. However, there was no indication of any dispute in my banking app - presumably because the payment was linked to a credit card.

My account was then blocked. I was told I could reactivate it only by taking out a new subscription and paying an additional €30 reactivation fee. I found this completely unacceptable. After I explained the situation, again, support did not even consider it necessary to reply.

The whole experience came across as remarkably arrogant. Fortunately, there are now good alternatives in the same price range.

This is certainly not what customer service should look like.

My reply on the comment of Heyzine:

Now the company is once again claiming that I disputed the amount that was charged. That is complete nonsense, because, as I wrote, I was on holiday and only became aware that there was an issue through an email from support.
When I returned, I was no longer able to log in to my account because it had not been paid, despite the fact that I had informed support that I was on holiday.

If they had simply read what I had written instead of ignoring it, this situation could have been avoided - but apparently, they simply do not care.

Okay, send the mail as you suggested.

Heyzine is an outstanding tool for creating interactive flipbooks. Converting PDFs into engaging digital publications is smooth, fast, and high quality. I have rated this company highly due to the flipbook ease of use for more a computer novice as many other folks. The pricing structure also fit well within my budget and needs.
The real clincher was the prompt support from their customer service. During evaluation of the tool, numerous questions arose. The responses that I received from customer support (Maria) came with written instructions and screenshots enabling me to complete my evaluation and purchase. Very impressed with what I received from this company and look forward to a long relationship with them.

I was so pleasantly surprised from the very first flipbook I've created. Such an user-friendly interface! Quick and amazing results and customer service is beyond amazing!

Obwohl die Funktionen fürs Flipbook-Erstellen in der Gratisversion sehr eingeschränkt sind, gefällt mir das UI und UX sehr gut, und falls man etwas braucht, erhält man sofort Hilfe! Ich habe zum Beispiel eine Bewerbung mit meinem Flipbook-Link abgeschickt und bin erst im Nachhinein an ein paar Fehler gestoßen. In der Gratisversion kann man das PDF leider nicht ersetzen, aber das Team von Heyzine hat mir innerhalb von nur 2 Tagen mein Portfolio ausgebessert! Sehr Kulant und Zuvorkommend!
Einziger Verbesserungswunsch: die Übersetzung zur Deutschen Sprache ist etwas Verwirrend, das könnte man beheben, denn "edit" heißt z.B. nicht "Herausgeber" :)

I love HeyZine, and have been using it for a little over 2 years now, both for showcasing my own work, and for showcasing magazines and catalogs at my job! In fact, we've even inspired a couple of the companies we work with to use it! Very user friendly and immersive :)

I needed to change my flip book, having already created a QR code and circulated it. I contacted Heyzine and got a personal reply within a couple of hours telling me how to use the edit function to replace the PDF without needing new links or QR codes. Polite, prompt, personal and painless.

It is a very efficient service, well designed and built. The monthly fee is reasonable and the opportunities are numerous. I use it to bring my art books to the attention of the art world and it works very well. Minor problems that I had with functionality appeared to be my own neglect, and the support I got from the help desk is to be commended.
