I came to Hey Lady to improve my fluency in English, but what I’ve discovered over the past 10 months—since last November—has been amazing.

I found myself here. I’ve connected with women from all over the world who go through the same challenges as I do in life. Every month, there’s a new topic, and we start discussing and learning new idioms and vocabulary. Through that, we discover so much about ourselves and our lives.

This journey has helped me become more confident in speaking English. What I really needed was just to break the barrier of fear—after that, I found myself flying.

I highly recommend Hey Lady. It’s not just about English here… it’s about you!

Heylady was born as a community with the aim of connecting women from all over the world to help them feel more confident and secure when interacting in English. For me, it has become much more than just a safe and enjoyable space to practice English; it has become my second family. I recently completed the Speak English with Ease program, which kicked off in April, and I’m ecstatic about the incredible experience!
For years, I believed that to speak English well, I had to master all the idioms and phrasal verbs native speakers use. But during this program, I learned that the most important thing is being able to communicate fluently and accurately, while feeling like yourself.
The program is thoughtfully designed to build confidence week by week. It provides engaging video materials and a dedicated notebook for tracking reflections and progress.

It was not that difficult to find someone to speak with spontaneously online, but making real friends was a different matter. Finding a speaking buddy who matched my personality, availability, and passion for practice, was not easy.

In fact, I got several speaking partners shortly after I joined.
As I continued practicing with familiar members, I stopped feeling nervous while speaking. I found out nervousness had been holding me back from improving my speaking skills. Over the past four years, I have met three members in person, which means we've been friends for years! I used to doubt whether online friends were real, but I'm sure you can make real friendships online, too. Even though I had been learning English for years (about 25 years), when it came to speaking English, I couldn't go beyond the beginner level. While I could easily understand advanced English content when reading or listening to something, not being able to speak it was really destroying my motivation and confidence.
However, everything changed after I joined the Hey Lady family 6 months ago, which was like a magical world for me. Under the leadership of a great team, we fearlessly overcome all the obstacles that come our way with my dear friends, each one more valuable than the other. I can now speak English with ease even with native speakers. More importantly, I can not only speak English with confidence, but I can also host and present in English at events whose content and materials I have prepared myself, manage an event and support those who need help in these areas. At the beginning, my goal was just to speak English, but now it is like a miracle that I can do so much more.

Hey Lady is perfect place for speaking practice and know new women around the world. I can have event or cofee table whenever I want. There are a lot of opportunities to study grammar and perfect is to create my own event. I recommend it to everyone who is still hesitating.
