I would highly recommend that you NEVER purchase from this place. There photos and promotional videos are stolen from other websites, the 30 day money back guarantee is false as I was refused a refund due to them telling me the dress was ‘of satisfactory quality’ despite it being see through and unwearable. The material was thin and honestly it would be better to spend more money on a dress that you can actually wear. The customer service team are awful.
Horrible experience. Dress looks absolutely cheap. Wrong color, stains on the fabric. Totally wrinkled. No refund due to final sale policy. Absolute fraud and false promises. As seen in Vogue or InStyle….sure! Pictures on website are totally different from real product. Never order something at HelloMacy.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Hello Macy and would strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering.
I ordered a dress for my 21st birthday and what arrived was nothing like the product advertised on the website. The colour was different, the length was different, the top half of the dress was completely different, and the material was so thin and see-through that it looked and felt cheap. It was nowhere near the quality shown in the product photos.
I contacted customer service and provided multiple photos and videos comparing the advertised dress with the one I received. Despite the clear differences, they dismissed my concerns, claiming the dress was “within production specifications” and that the differences were due to lighting and photography. They also relied on their “Final Sale” policy to refuse a refund.
A Final Sale policy does not change the fact that customers are legally entitled to receive goods that match the description they were sold. Instead of acknowledging the obvious discrepancies or offering a reasonable solution, I received what felt like a scripted response that ignored the evidence I had provided.
The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and upsetting, especially as I purchased the dress for such an important occasion. I expected far better quality and customer service from a company charging over £50 in sale with a retail price of over £100 for a dress.
I will not be purchasing from Hello Macy again and would not recommend them based on my experience.
Toen ik deze jurken bestelde was ik erg in de twijfel wanwege slechte reviews. Maar ik kreeg ze binnen na 3 weken ongeveer en ik was erg tevreden over de kwaliteit. Vooral de klantenservice is zo goed! Ze denken echt met je mee en zijn heel erg vriendelijk. Voor mij 4 sterren omdat de jurken ook echt heel mooi zijn!
As with all other reviews which I had failed to read. This is a fraudulent company based outside the UK who fail to comply with UK distant selling regulations and claim items as sold as “final sale” and not subject to return - if you read the small print. The dress we received is a cheap knock off of the advertised picture and not fit for purpose. I was offered a 10% refund, then 20% and then 30% and will continue the argument until I get a full refund - despite the cost to return the item. I will never shop here again and I emplore people to read the reviews and don’t make my mistake.

I was also stung by the "final sale" excuse to not refund. Quality of the dress was poor and not what I thought it would be. I wish I checked here first before making an order. AVOID!!
Awful customer services. I tried to send a dress back and they asked for photos or videos of proof. No offer of a refund. I sent the photos and refused to send other photos they requested as it was of the bust area but they asked again. I haven’t had a response in over a 5 weeks even after chasing them up. Wasted money, poor quality and no sign of being able to return anything. Basically a scam

I ordered six dresses for an upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, the items received were significantly different from how they appeared on the website. The quality, fit, fabric appearance, and overall presentation did not meet the expectations created by the product images and descriptions.
I contacted customer service immediately, provided detailed photographs and videos, and explained my concerns. Despite acknowledging that consumers have rights when items are not as described, the company repeatedly relied on its own internal quality assessment to deny my request for a return and refund.
What I found particularly frustrating was being told that because the items were purchased during a "final sale", they would not accept a return, even though my complaint was about the products not matching their online representation. After multiple emails and weeks of back-and-forth, the only resolution offered was a 20% partial refund while keeping six dresses that I cannot wear and have no use for… I will be taking this further but leaving this review so others are no longer being scammed from this awful company.

Hello Macy is evidently a drop shipping site which ships cheap items from China and marks up the prices.

Dress was such poor quality and i wasn’t able to get a refund even though it was within the 30 day window! Such an unreliable website do not buy from here!
Scam company.
Operate under the guise of having a lot of sale items/ promotional items but don’t flag to you during purchase that any sale items are ‘final sale’
Note that this does not hold up under UK law. Companies cannot use ‘final sale’ or no returns, and if they do, it does not remove the consumers legal right for return: if a consumer purchased online and could not see the product physically in person, legally they have 14 days to request a refund under the current law. Businesses must adhere to this ! This does not just apply to faulty goods. You can look at this on the uk.gov website, it’s all there!
I wouldn’t purchase ever again. AVOID!!!!!!
