Excellent company benefit
We use Heka at work and it is one of my favourite benefits. At the moment it pays for my monthly gym subscription, but previously I got the monthly amount and enjoyed going onto the website to choose how I would spend my allowance, I got some great things like a massage gun, plants, health food and smoothies.
The website is really easy to use and there are so many choices. I like the fact that you can save your money up for a few months to choose a more expensive item rather than having to use your allowance every month.
Using it for my gym membership at the moment is really smooth and payment is always received at the same time each month.

Lots of great products, including a gym subsidy and I do love a house plant every few months. Very intuitive platform and outstanding customer service. Highly recommend! Thanks Heka!
So far it's been amazing...
First time using Heka and its a fantastic service. Fast responses, pleasant and very helpful staff. Very efficient service which seems to be designed so that you need to make very little effort to make claims/purchase goods/services - unlike most other similar services who will make you jump through hoops to do the same thing.

The Heka platform itself works well and offers a lot of experiences, if you're in large city like London, and a variety of products and online services which has grown tremendously even in the last couple of months.

Our experience with Heka has been great. Our team are really enjoying all of the experiences via the Heka platform and Steffan and his team have been excellent with dealing with queries, answering questions and getting new team members set up. I'd recommend it for any business owners or managers who are looking to offer a wide range of employee benefits - there is definitely something for everyone on Heka!

Heka is a great 'lil perk that my company gives us. People in the office are always discussing what they're going for that month, so much variety! I was helped by Anastasia who was very proficient in setting up my gym membership! Thanks so much.
I have a Heka account through my company: MAPP
I have a Heka account through my corporate benefits - my colleagues and I love it! There is such a wide ranging selection of ways to spend your monthly allowance but my favourites so far have been the cold pressed vegetable juices and vouchers for Crocus (I bought little potted plants for the garden). Customer service have been so helpful as well, allowing me to save my credits for longer as I'm saving up to get an indoor Smart Garden, to grow herbs.
Great company with strong values
Great company that clearly has strong values, which are aligned with their product. They give the impression of really caring about their customer service, and on the two occasions that I've had an issue with an order they have responded quickly to either re-issue the order or give additional credits.

Heka is a really amazing platform offering a wide range of different items and experiences. There are always new things being added that encourage me to try something different. The team are also happy to hear suggestions for anything that might work well on the platform and will work to make it happen! There is amazing choice, definitely something for everyone. Me and my colleagues are all huge fans, and are always discussing what we're getting every month!

Waste of money, far better options out there!
I used this platform for a few years. In short, I found it to be a feel good gimmick for employers and a waste of time and money for employees. There are much better options out there.
The team at Heka felt they were the only ones who could decide what was 'good enough' to support people's wellbeing and stated what was good or bad without much reason.
Their business really doesn't hold water.
Heka let credits expire after 3 months if not used saying it encourages people to spend them. When asked why it can't be 6 or 12 months so you can save more, Heka said no. They couldn't give a good reason and said it's 3 months and that's that. I even got told if I didn't like it, I should ask my employer to remove me from the scheme because they knew better. Questionable service stating they support wellbeing...
With maximum you can save being limited, they sensibly offer a lot of items that cost way over what you can save in 3 months which obviously makes perfect sense. Heka didn't seem to think it was strange at all having expiring credits and these expensive items on offer. Their solution was you use your credits and make up the difference with cash, or just spend your credits on something else and go without. Your expired credits (which were taxed), were irrelevant.
Employees who receive credits get taxed on the full monthly credits so it doubles down as they get taxed on expired credits unless they buy stuff they don't really want. I always found it a really weird strategy from Heka and such poor service from several of the team.
With there being far better perk platforms out there, I'd do your staff a favour and steer clear of Heka and their misguided feel good factor.
