I was always dubious about trusting a recruiter however, I soon found out in the legal industry it was a must. Thankfully, I was put in touch with Victoria early on who provided a fantastic service. She was always honest and transparent (which is needed in this industry) and her contacts and experience most definitely helped me secure the right role for me.

Victoria is amazing. She was really easy to talk to and she boosts you to achieve your best. Was a great experience and more stress free then usual.

Dan assisted me with my job search, and I can't recommend him enough. He assisted me with securing four interviews in quick succession - all of which suited the expectations I had outlined; three of which I was fortunate enough to be offered! He kept me updated throughout and assisted me with managing their expectations whilst I was deciding which was the best fit; assisting with the negotiation process of each. Alongside being great at his job, he's also just a nice bloke which definitely helps!

3 months ago I wrote a review about Stephen Haydon of Headhunterhelp on how good he was at securing a job interview. UPDATE: I was hired right after that interview! I worked for my current employer for a month before making this review to ensure it was not a dream. Everything is perfect. Now I can confidently say you can't get a better job search experience. After being in my last role for almost a decade I knew I needed change, and had reached out to a few recruitment companies. What I typically got was a lot of “churn” - in my eyes, recruiters trying to get me into roles nearly identical to what I was in because it would be quick.

Working with Stephen Haydon couldn’t have been more different. He spent hours consulting with me, knew my job history and aspirations inside out, and actually listen to and understood what I needed to make the change from where I was to something new.

Stephen not only signposted to me exactly what I was looking for, but advocated on my behalf which curated a new role the company I wanted to work for wasn’t even recruiting for.

The role is quite niche and there were several stages, yet at each and every one I got coaching from him beforehand, a follow-up call immediately after, and updates on his side with feedback he’d personally phoned the company for.

Stephen made the process (which I would have found doing alone awful) really easy. The decision to jump ship after such a long time isn’t an easy one, and I would have changed my mind without having him on side navigating me through imposter-syndrome wobbles. He was extremely considerate too with meetings arranged around my previous working hours. There was no pressure, I knew had I decided this wasn’t for me we’d find what was.

Buzzing with my career change, and given my experience as a candidate I wouldn’t use anyone else when it comes to recruit - I know he’ll get the right person for the team.

Phill has been first class, going above and beyond to negotiate and communicate between myself and the employer so that the entire process ran as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. He helped me draft my termination letter and relieved much of my anxiety by constantly providing support and reassurance. He demonstrates true care and compassion in matching candidates for the right role and I would not hesitate to recommend him to both employers and prospective employees!
