This place is fake. Google should remove it from search results. They sell tools, advertise shipping times then simply never deliver. Happened between april 4 and april 10, 2026.

This is a drop shipping front. Also goes under the name "Electronic Inventory Online". They both share the same torrance california address, both drop ship from other states. Orders take forever. Customer service said they could not be responsible for shipping. Just don't. It's not worth it.

Poor customer service and being given the run around. Was curious where half my order was so I reached out and they said it had an extended shipping time due to needing more product from the manufacturer. I told them I was not made aware of this at the time of purchase and they came back saying it’s right above the add to cart button”. At the time of purchase that WAS NOT there and it said my items were available at the warehouse within 2-4 days. Would not purchase here again.

I waited two months for my order, and when it finally arrived, all the tools had been removed from their original manufacturer packaging and were thrown loosely into a mailer with no proper protection. Everything was bouncing around during shipping.

The main ratcheting screwdriver arrived defective, the ratcheting mechanism is jammed and does not function. I sent photos and videos to support, but they told me I would have to pay for return shipping myself.

After the long delay and receiving a defective item, I expected better customer service. Very disappointing experience.

Here is an honest review after many small purchases. The pros are an extensive catalog of fine tools, free shipping and no tax. The cons:the catalog is big but they obviously don't store many of the items and you have to wait 3 to 6 weeks for delivery. The shipping is free USPS --further delaying your purchase a week or more. To summarize: order from Haus of Tools if you want something at a reasonable price but are prepared to wait A LONG TIME. If you need something quick, find another vendor.

Never again! I've ordered 3 times from this company over the last year and each time is horrible. No customer service response, difficult to track orders and can't get a refund for items not received. They have some great products that I can't find elsewhere is the ONLY reason I've ordered but I'm done. Beware of this company. I have been on hold 4 times for a total of 1.5 hours, the call ends at 20 minutes on hold waiting for non-existing customer service.

Please do not use. I believe this site to be a scam site. I have placed my order 2 weeks ago and still have not received my order. The order was for a car cleaning product. I have not had any updates other than an email stating I need to download an app to track my order. I downloaded the app and then tracked my order. It gave me dates that were very inconsistent with when my order was placed and shipped. The only accurate update I had was an email from House of tools stating my order was placed and I had an order number assigned. What is worse is my order was supposedly delivered yesterday. I checked with my neighbors and no one has received any packages with my name on it. I really believe this site and orders place with them or at risk of being scammed. The only thing I have from my order of House of tools is the fact that I have a credit card number that has been placed on file with whatever this company is supposed to be. Do not do not. Do not use please. This site is a scam and a fake. I have to accept the fact that I've lost $30 placing an order with something in the cloud in which I will never receive the product I paid for. I will be more than happy to update this post and this review if my order does come in, however, I highly doubt it.

HoT processed an unauthorized order, then their CS rep, Matt T, lied about cancelling that order. HoT is definitely NOT a reputable retailer. AVOID!!!

The postage on the tools were too high. I wanted to buy a knipex plier wrench since they had a good price. £30 postage on a £50 item is disgusting. I could buy them anywhere else at full price for less.

After reading the below after ordering was concerned that I might see my order, but the experience was great. Reasonable time to assemble the order and send this to New Zealand on the other side of the world. Packaging was impressive and contry to what had been described by others. This is the first time i have purchased here but will do again perhaps after reading feedback they have sharpened up their service. Well done HoT

I ordered an in-stock item from Haus of Tools on April 8, 2025. I received a confirmation email and another one regarding points earned. On April 16th I realized I had not received an email stating my item had shipped. I checked my online banking and they debited my account on April 13th. I emailed Haus of Tools (16th) and received a response the next day, April 17th. The guy said the item had an “extended handling time” and he was waiting for a shipment as it was sold out. It was in-stock when I ordered and nothing was said about an “extended handling time”. I responded that I wanted the order canceled and my PayPal account credited.
I wish I had researched the company before ordering but obviously I didn’t. I have since read complaints about this company on other websites and our stories are the same. They charge your payment source and then order the items from the manufacturer(s) because they "sell out" of what you ordered. Someone suggested they operate like a drop-shipper and it sure sounds like it. I will give Haus of Tools a chance to credit my PayPal but I expect it immediately. If not then I will file a complaint with PayPal, they will do an immediate charge-back, and then open an investigation.
I don’t use PayPal with companies I know well but when dealing with an unknown company or subscriptions I do. I am sure glad I did this time!

Charged my card for a back order immediately, instead of when shipped. Not shipped after more than one month.
Guy hung up on me because I told him they need to answer their phones.

Almost all the 5 star reviews were written in a one-week period. What an odd coincidence! It almost looks like they were trying to offset a bunch of bad reviews by writing a bunch of fake good reviews.

AVOID - I'm having a terrible issue with them right now. I ordered tools for about $600, 20 days ago and they created a shipping label with the wrong address. It doesnt match what I have on my order confirmation. The package was returned to sender, and they spoke to FedEx and verified it should be returned to sender, and they still wont give me my money back. It has now been delivered back to them and I am still waiting for a refund. On the phone they said they wanted to make sure I wasn't "screwing them out of money." HOW? I've never even touched the package. It's insulting.

They seem to share an address and staff with EIO.com. AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs. They have terrible reviews everywhere for a reason. I wish I had looked them up before ordering. Many many people seem to have the same experience

My recent experience with this company has been nothing short of disappointing. When I reached out about an issue with a product that was well within the return period, I was met with unhelpful responses that shifted the burden of support to the manufacturer rather than resolving the issue in-house.

To make matters worse, I was told that the item could not be exchanged due to a lack of stock. However, their website clearly lists the item as available for pickup within 2 to 4 days, contradicting their claim and making it clear they were not being truthful.

The communication I received was vague, confusing, and only created more questions. I even had to ask if I was expected to pay for return shipping, which should have been clearly outlined from the start. Instead of providing clear and concise instructions, their response demonstrated a lack of accountability and a disregard for customer satisfaction.

This experience has left me feeling that the company either lacks properly trained employees or has a deliberate policy of avoiding customer support by creating confusion and shifting blame. Either way, it’s unacceptable.

As a result, I’ll be taking my business to KC Tools or Amazon, even if it costs a bit more, because I know they prioritize hassle-free returns and treat their customers with respect.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from this company. Poor customer service, misleading information, and a lack of accountability are not what anyone should have to deal with when making a purchase.

I am very happy I didn't see the negative reviews before I ordered, or I would have missed out on a great deal and some fine service.
I orded a set of Wiha screwdrivers on Memorial Day, the 27th this year, and I received them Friday the 31st, and I am in Michigan. They kept me informed about my order including telling when it was out for delivery and when it was delivered. Oh, and they had the best price I could find anyplace.
I will buy from them again without hesitation.

It is scame company never buy from them. I had worse experience with them. They just lies about everything.

These people are awful. Their business model is to charge your credit card immediately for your order and live on your interest free money while it takes months, if ever, to receive your order. Avoid them if you can.
