My agent was very helpful in explaining the cost and coverage of our new pet insurance policy. I have canceled our previous policy with another provider for many reasons.

Can’t get anyone to take a call.Always have to wait for a call back.Takes to long to be reimbursed

It was an overall great experience. I jad some issues with the amount of time to reach out to me after my initial contact. Not bad by any means just wish it had been sooner. I enjoy my agent, he's a great guy! I also wish there was a actual paper copy of my policy detailing what it covers since I am still unsure of what is covered and what isn't.

Absolutely worst pet insurance I have ever purchased! I have filed two claims and it’s been months of no response. Tried contacting via phone and email and have yet to receive a response. Complete WASTE of MONEY!

I've updated my review. My cancellation was processed, just took some time. And they did process my claims quickly although for this cat I had the most expensive policy. I can't upgrade my other cat to the same policy, so he's stuck with one where they can basically reimburse according to "prevailing rates," which I've learned in the past always seem to be significantly below whatever you're billed even though they're supposed to be based on an "average of vets in your neighborhood." In any case, I've bumped up stars here for the quick turnaround of claims and also because they did eventually leave messages offering condolences for my cat which I appreciated.

Old review: They've been billing me for months after my cat passed away and there's simply no way to reach them to stop them. Now I have to go through the hassle of protesting with my credit card company. Before you ever consider using this company why not go ahead and just try to reach them by phone for ANY issue besides buying a policy. Go ahead, try to navigate their automated system for a claim, a billling issue, even a vet call. After dozens of hangups, if you're lucky enough to be sent to the holding queue, you'll likely give up after 2 hours on hold like I did for 3 days before writing this being forced to listen to their message "We value your time, please continue to hold..."

Application process was very easy online. We went with Hartville because of their Wellness program. Haven’t submitted any claims yet.

I have just signed up for the insurance, it was easy to understand, and easy to sign up. It gives me the kind of coverage I need for my pet.

Easy to Purchase & Simple to Purchase. I have not used it yet.

My first claim processed fast but since then they have been slower being approved. All my claims have been for wellness for a new puppy so nothing huge yet. Otherwise nothing to complain about!

Excellent customer service, explained the difference in the policies to help guarantee the best coverage for my beloved pet.

I am new to the insurance and have not used as of yet. I was somewhat disappointed that the Wellness section did not include Complementary Medicines and procedures~ When I was searching online, I thought it did have it included.

I love the company and my insurance! It is by far the best decision that I have ever made. My little furbaby seems to be the Queen of anything that is rare and falls into a less than 1% of things seen. All of the people that I have spoken to have been especially kind and caring, even checking back on her and wishing her well on procedures. I have always had a great experience with submitting and getting reimbursed for claims, never having had any claim denied. But I am also very diligent and aware that when a recheck for any diagnosed issue is recommended by the veterinarian, then it should be done. If an issue is not rechecked by the vet and declared resolved in the record, then it is not resolved and considered pre-existing. They have been wonderful and never question anything that my baby requires, even covering her accupuncture. She got very sick recently and had to have multiple hospital stays and eventually an adrenalectomy and they were wonderful. And believe me, my little girl has many issues, I think her vet records are over 200 pages by now. I am also soooo happy I chose to pay the extra for no annual claim maximum, cause she is a little money pit.

Bought and paid this insurance for my frenchies. Called last month January 2021 a requested that the insurance stop and i be refunded the January payment as it was the day withdrawing and guess what got another payment taken out Feb 2021 and when emailed them they so CALLED have no frkn record of me calling after the agent told me it was cancelled and would be receiving the Jan 2021 premium would be refunded. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES! S6907587
