Highly recommend Hartville Pet Insurance
Great policy, terrific customer service and fast claims processing. We've had a policy for over 11 years and could not be more pleased. It's wonderful knowing we can do everything we can for our fur baby with our insurance coverage.

Made my first claim with no problem
Made my first claim with no problem, no hassle. The company paid benefit was exactly as promised in materials when I signed up. Subsequent claims have been the same. Money was received promptly, too.
I would recommend Hartville to anyone.

Great service and compassion
I only had Hartville one year before my little fur baby passed but the claims I submitted, including his services to put down and cremate, were handled quickly and efficiently. The gal on the phone when I cancelled was very compassionate. I highly recommend Hartville and should the need arise I would definitely utilize them again!

Hartville pet insurance is great!
Hartville pet insurance has been such a help to me. The first claim took a little over 2 weeks to get but I got the entire 80% of my bill which is the plan I chose. The next few claims processed faster. They need time to collect medical history from your veterinarian. Overall so happy I decided to go with this company. You can do everything from their app which is super convenient!

Great Experience!!
Customer service was very helpful on the phone and guided me to the website to submit a claim as well as an estimate. Claims process on the website is quite simple and quick to submit. Turnaround on the claims processing was excellent. Website has appealing user interface. Great experience with Hartville as a new customer!

This pet insurance is the best. They are prompt. They do exactly what they say they will do. I have never had a problem with the claims that have been filed. Awesome awesome pet insurance. Number one in my book. Jasmine holds up two paws 🐾.

Glad we bought the insurance especially…
Glad we bought the insurance especially since we have a puppy. Our puppy eats a lot of things he is not supposed to. Had a scare he ate a squeaker but glad it was just stuffing. Once I submitted the vet bill the processing took some time but once it was complete I got my refund very fast.

To clarify, like other pet insurance providers, we do not cover pre-existing conditions. And, we define pre-existing conditions as a health problem that occurs (i.e. symptomatic) before coverage is effective or during an applicable waiting period. That being said, with most conditions that are curable, once the condition is cured, symptom, and treatment free for 180 days, we will consider it to be a new condition and no longer pre-existing.

Wow so far I have had a great experience with Hartville. They have saved me close to $1k in the last month in surgeries for Dean. I am happy I chose Hartville out of the other 5 I was looking into!
