The driver reviewed the car, noting all points of interest then informed the company. The whole process took less than one hour and I was very happy with the outcome. Thank you for a great service.

Have purchased a car for my husband as a surprise. Eliiot and Van have made the process so easy . Helpful and honest to a fault ,being female with little knowledge of car buying , they explained everything clearly and carefully, no hard sell or offers of products not needed. Straight forward honest transaction, with good advice, they didn't make me feel like I was asking too many questions or a nuisance ,like several other places had with me being female. Van the owner was due to purchase my vehicle. On arranging inspection for collection. He decided to become aggressive and rude. I have never been spoken to this way by a car dealer. His tone towards women is agressive. I soon pulled out the sale before he could view my car. Not sure if this is a tactic to knock the price down and become a nasty bully. Looking at his other reviews are quite good due to his workers. After research you will notice a pattern when Van is mentioned, he is not a great character to do business with as he has a history of aggression. Due to evidence His now been reported. Ladies be aware and I hope this post is useful.

I had a good experience with HMC.Elliot who initially dealt with my enquiry, was very helpful and informative. When I collected the car (Volvo V60) I was given a test drive together with good instruction on the operation of the car's information and control functions. After a couple of days with the car I noticed a problem with the tailgate electronic opening and closing system had developed. Through a little research, I ascertained that the tailgate struts needed replacing. HMC covered the cost of new struts without any question and I've fitted them myself. So very happy with the sale transaction and their after service.

I just bought a 2023 bmw 4 series convertible from this co. I was 330 miles away from the dealership in south devon. We agreed for me to buy their car, and I sell them my car part ex, all over the phone and by what’s app. Lots of active engagement between us. Van the owner of the company was very helpful, straight forward and felt trustworthy. I trusted him enough to pay him by BACs in advance without seeing the car and one of his men drove it down to me in Devon, and collected my part ex. I was able to talk Van through the condition of my car enough for him to feel comfortable with the part ex. I would recommend them.

An excellent service from Hartlepool Motor Company. From the start of the process to the quick and efficient delivery of our new Volvo XC40. Van and Elliot ensured that nothing was a problem. Would definitely use again!

I purchased a car from Hartlepool Motor Company following a remote sale arranged by telephone. The vehicle was delivered to my home, which meant I had no opportunity to inspect it in person before purchase and took the traders word on the car as well as photos and a walk around video. Overall the car was in very good condition inside and out as per the photos and video.

Within a short time of receiving the vehicle, I arranged for it to be serviced and inspected by an independent garage. The inspection identified oil leaks from both the gearbox and the crankshaft seal. These issues were reported promptly, and I initially asked for the faults to be repaired in line with my consumer rights. I also tried to resolve the matter amicably and even suggested a compromise to avoid escalation.

Unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement at that stage, and after several attempts to resolve the issue, I had no option but to arrange the repairs independently and pursue the matter formally.

Following the issuance of a court claim, the matter was eventually settled in full, 4 months after purchase.

While I appreciate that used cars may show wear and tear, significant oil leaks that appear shortly after delivery should be addressed promptly. I would encourage anyone buying a vehicle remotely to ensure they obtain an independent inspection quickly if any issues arise.

The matter has now been resolved, but the process could have been avoided with earlier cooperation.

It was a shame my experience was like this as the start of the process was faultless and really easy to deal with, communication was spot on too, until I had a problem then you find out how good someone's customer service is.

Bought a car from this dealer and must admit to a professional experience from start to finish. Was allowed to take car for test drive on my own with no restrictions given. Had an issue with paperwork (not their issue) but this was dealt with by Elliot in a cool calm manner. Elliot even offered to have my private plates made up and fitted prior to my collection the vehicle. Would not hesitate to recommend them to any prospective purchaser.

I had specific requirements for a new car and found an Audi Q5 black edition Quattro in grey at Hartlepool Motor Company. I spoke to Elliot who was very professional and answered my questions. Also sorted everything out for the date I wanted it.

Sold our car through Motorway and Van from Hartlepool Motor Company Ltd contacted us immediately after the auction ended. As first-time sellers, we were a bit apprehensive, but Van quickly put us at ease with his friendly and professional approach.

Having bid the highest offer on the Motorway auction on the weekend, their representative contacted me this morning (Tuesday) and later in the day confirmed a collection from my home today. Having picked up the 2 drivers from the local station and driven them to my house, the deal was completed within about 10 minutes with the full offer price paid into my bank account. I bought a van from Hartlepool Motor Company a week ago. I saw it online on VanTrader and it looked perfect so I gave HMC a call. Elliott was an absolute pleasure to deal with over the phone and was able to answer all of my questions and was more than helpful in sorting out all of the little requests i had regarding the van prior to picking it up. Two weeks later and a four hour train journey from the south to the north of England to pick it up I was met by a real gentleman Steve at the station who took me to their dealership and sorted out all of the paperwork professionally. I had a question regarding the VAT payable, but this was explained by the business owner Van (who is, as previous reviews have said - a proper nice bloke to deal with). I absolutely LOVE the van I have bought from HMC and would honestly recommend them to anyone looking for their next vehicle.
