Clear advice and a pleasure to work with

High quality acquisition legal process
When we approached Nikki for assistance we wanted a pragmatic, speedy legal process for a small acqusition and she delivered entirely. Communication was great throughout, she highlighted the risks and was easy to deal with. The cost was proportionate to the work and she was really helpful in smoothing the relationship with the other side. A great, high quality service all round.

Richard handled a difficult dispute on our behalf and delivered an outstanding result. We recovered the full amount owed, plus interest, against a particularly challenging counterparty. Throughout the process he was professional, strategic, and persistent, always securing the best possible terms. Pretty awful
Pretty awful. We paid them a retainer for years and then when we needed them they asked for significantly increased funds which we provided only for them to resign the case 8 days prior to it going to court. Also, some of their offices aren't real, for example, Cambridge. A colleague went there with papers as she was passing and it turns our its a business centre and they just pay for the address.

However, as you have specifically referred to our decision to bring the retainer to an end, we can say that decisions of this nature are never taken lightly and this followed a period of engagement with you and careful consideration of the circumstances. Where, having considered our professional duties and responsibilities, we are no longer able to continue acting, we act promptly and responsibly, and take steps to support the orderly transfer of the matter with as much notice as the situation allows.
We would also like to clarify the point about our offices. Harper James has its headquarters in Birmingham and offers regional meeting spaces where clients can arrange to meet our lawyers. This is explained on our website. Our operating model is designed to keep our service flexible, responsive and efficient, while allowing us to support thousands of businesses across England and Wales.

DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM - they do not do work properly, give incorrect advice, and will mess up your legal case. BEWARE.
EDIT: They are so useless they cant even track their own customers. I was a customer of this law firm and they messed up my case totally , they cannot even track hours or do basic paperwork! And I suspect their good reviews here are not legit
