DON’T SHOP FROM HERE! This place is a FAKE- exact same product 1/2 the price on Amazon (even the exact same images on both). It took over 3 weeks to arrive. It’s a sweater with NO TAGS and terrible quality.

Continuous polite refusal to provide refunds -update

I recently ordered a pair of shoes which took several weeks to arrive, and did not fit or look as nice as it did in the photo. I have currently exchanged an email thread of 17 emails and still counting after requesting a return authorization and a shipping address to return the item. The company continues to send friendly emails explaining how much they want to serve me, but, so far, while saying they are willing to arrange a return if I am not satisfied with their arrangements, have only offered to send a new size, to send a different shoe and I pay the difference, to refund only 20 percent, and then an upgrade to 50%. I will never order from this company again. I lived in China for 10 years, and I honestly feel like I am in a tourist market where I am required to bargain back and forth until someone finally gives in. I have never experienced this in the US before.

Update: After posting my review, I received an apology and a full refund back to my credit card with the understanding that I would return the shoes to a California address. I put them in the mail today. I appreciated the opportunity to bring closure to this experience, even though the return shipping was high.

Scam..Beware

Company has fancy website with probably AI generated photos. Ordered black 3/4 length sleeve cotton blend dress. Receive a garbage super short sleeve 100% polyester dress that wasn't even close to the photo. They refused a return unless I paid shipping and also demanded I pay shipping if I wanted a replacement.
Then started back and forth emails where they offered successive discounts.
When I disputed with my credit card they fought me multiple times tooth and nail, saying they sent the correct item and were trying to work with me, offering discounts etc.
But it was the WRONG item!
This seems to be their business model: Sell a garment for like $60 to $100. Send a different $5 piece of junk from China. A percentage of people will just accept it. The rest get 20 - 50 % discounts. So the company over all retains about 3/4 of the $$ for a garment possibly not worth 10%. If they are forced to shut down always beware for similar store opening with different name. And ALWAYS look for address and local phone number!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. After waiting almost a month to receive my orders, I got cheaply made garbage that looked nothing like the images shown on their website nor did they match the description shown on their website. One jacket stated in was 100% leather. It was plastic. Never again! Do not waste your money.

Bait and switch…

Googled a particular robe that I wanted to buy and the pictures posted by HarperandLane looked like what I wanted. Paid $67.45 but when it finally arrived, it was nothing like what was pictured. I tried it on and it fit like a knee length form fitting sweater NOT a loose flowing robe. I contacted them repeatedly but kept getting a computer generated response refusing to issue a return label and take it back so they could credit my account. Instead, they wanted me to pick something else from their website, pay the difference and an additional $12.95 shipping or pay out of pocket to ship the original back in order to get a refund when they clearly sent me an item that appears nothing like the pictures. Not getting anywhere in this bait and switch mail order company. Going to file fraud with my credit card I guess. DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

Scam!

Scam!! I ordered 2 items and then read the reviews, I then immediately cancelled my order and asked for a refund. They said they refunded my money, but did not! I had to change my card as suggested by my bank. I can only get a email response saying it was refunded, then saying it was shipped out 5 minutes after I ordered? (Not received any items). It also appears the product images have been taken off of other legitimate websites. Beware!

I saw a photo of booties…

I saw a photo of booties that looked to be of high quality and cute. I got the cheapest vegan leather probably ever made. They "resembled" the booties I saw. I wish I had read reviews before buying from them. They are true schiesters. Stay far away. Do not be fooled.

Spend $59 plus s&h got trash …

Items do not fit. They do not match the size guide. The material is very cheap. The overall quality is the same as items costing 80% less- the items are VERY cheap looking as well. Do not buy anything from this company.

Terrible quality clothes and returning is waste of time

The quality of clothes received were like from Sheinbut the prices were much higher. The quality was poor and/or the sizing was off. When I contacted them to begin a return, I was asked to take pictures of the clothes lying next to similar items that I owned and had to give detailed explanations for why I didn't want the clothes. I was offered a 50% refund and could keep the clothes. I said no. So I was given instructions for sending the clothes back to China. The address is over a paragraph long. I mailed them back over a month ago, had to pay $70, and the clothes are now in the unknown so I'm out $270. I will never order anything from them again.

I ordered something called a coat

I ordered something called a coat. Black. Picture was indistinct. But I need a coat and ordered it. What arrived cannot qualify as a coat. It is a single layer of light fabric, no lining, no details, one button. It's cheap.
So, customer service - yeah that's another matter. The resoinded, but without the requested information, They really don't want returns. They don't provide labels or shipping. They offered a 50% refund which I accepted as I could not get information on a return. So I am out some bucks. I will give the garment to Goodwill. No consignment shop would take something this cheap.

Very deceitful company

My mistake is that I didn't research this company before placing my order. Their warehouse is in China, so returning is expensive. The product upon arrival isn't what the picture shows you. Their products aren't worth what they charge. If you want to return, they'll barter with you. I ended up purchasing 2 tops, that I gave away for $49.90. Don't go by the pictures of their product, the quality is poor.

This is garbage -- literally

This is garbage -- literally. I had no way to send it back, and it is basically junk created with bags. Cannot believe I got sucked into their photos -- without looking at the reviews. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I ordered a one time wear dress (white- yes cheap and flimsy) for my upcoming cruise (white night), the bust size was smaller than stated! Requested a refund…there were options offered but no refund. If you want cheap products that are likely not to fit according to their size chart or just donate your money (return policies are ridiculous)… order up!

Bad experience

My order stated I would receive it within 3 days. It also stated returns were easy. It took 3 weeks. Product was nothing like advertised or photo. I contacted Harper and Lane and wanted return information. After 4 emails back and forth, I accepted a 50% refund. The alternative was to send the product to somewhere in China. I would not give even 1 star for this company.

False advertising. It was supposed to be a sweater, but it's crap polyester—terrible quality. I'm sure I'll have to pay to ship it back to China. Never again will I purchase from an unknown store. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CRAP RETAILER.

Harper & Lane is a complete nightmare

Harper & Lane is a complete nightmare. I ordered boots on October 19th, and they finally arrived on November 3rd—only to be the wrong product. I had to pay to return their mistake. They offered to send the correct pair—but after seeing the cheap, terrible quality, I refused. I shipped the product back today and expect a full refund of $76.05.

Their “solution” was a $60 partial refund and a suggestion that I keep, donate, or resell their mistake. Seriously? Their merchandise comes from China, but they hide that fact.
Unprofessional, misleading, and a total waste of time. I’ll never buy from them again and will make sure everyone knows. Avoid Harper & Lane at all costs.

I would give them zero stars if I…

I would give them zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. ALL ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE BUT they do not tell you that. The item arrived and was too large. I asked to return it. They played games and asked me to send a photo of the item on me??? lol, and then after sending them a photo of the new item in the package they ignored me and them when I told them they were scammes and I had seen other reviews they told me they would give me 20% off to keep the item. Otherwise, I would have to pay to mail it to CHINA. They refused to provide a return address to CHINA. ( I doubt I would never get a refund from them if i did mail it).
The item was shipped from 182-30 150th Rd Jamaica NY 11413 so I asked them why I could not return it to that address since they say they accept 30 day returns. They are scammers...
They need to be shut down from selling online if they will not accept returns when they state they will.. I will not buy from them again. Luckily it was just a $65 item so I learned a relatively cheap lesson but they played endless games via email. So shop elsewhere and save your self money and aggravation. I hope this helps someone else:)
