First, the ad said the jacket I ordered was a J. Jill. It definitely was NOT. The fabric was flimsy and the jacket was poorly made. I contacted them immediately, as instructed, and requested information on returning it for a refund. I have now sent two additional emails, with no response from them. Now I'm guessing they string people along until the 30-day return window has expired and then say that the return was too late. Do not buy from these people!

The items I received quickly became my favorites.

I would give this a -10 stars if I could. My order did not come in time, I tried to cancel it within 12 hours of ordering it and was not able to. The fabric of the dress I received looked and felt so cheap. I would’ve had MUCH better luck at SHEIN honestly for a fraction of the price. They want you to return it to their China warehouse and pay $30 for shipping. Definitely a scam. Run, don’t walk away from this company. Their customer service team gets back to you eventually and when they do, they just go around in circles.

The shoes I ordered were misrepresented in design and quality. The shoes I received are so flimsy and unsubstantial I will be surprised if they don't melt in the least rain. Not even good enought to wear as bedroom slippers! Harper and Lane is a COMPLETE scam, laughing all the way to the bank. Returns must be made at buyers expense to an international address. It would cost the entire refund to return the shoes! I am beyond disgusted with the product and ashamed I didn't research the comapny before buying.

.I ordered a size S light blue satin dress with a floral skirt that looked stunning on their website. What I received was nothing like it — cheap fabric, bad stitching, and no shape at all. It’s clearly not what was advertised. After several emails and sending all the photos they asked for, they admitted the problem but refused to send a return label. Terrible quality and customer service — I’m disputing the charge with my credit card

I ordered a light blue satin dress with a floral skirt, size S, that looked elegant and high-quality on the Harper & Lane website. What I received was completely different — rough cheap fabric, poor stitching, and an oversized shapeless fit. After 7 emails, the seller admitted the issue but refused to provide a prepaid return label. I filed a credit card dispute. Extremely disappointing experience.

The sandals that I ordered were complete garbage!!! I thought the company was in CA- definitely should have done research.

With a small pegs into a cork like sole which keeps the “pleather” in place. The strap around the foot is secured with a piece of Velcro that is already peeling off the cheap plastic strap. I wouldn’t trust myself to wear them because they’d probably fall apart before I got home!

SCAM!! Everything said by the other 1 star reviewers is correct. I also have had lots of emails with Luna about my crummy dress and getting it returned. She went through the whole bit about how expensive it is to return and then offered me other options like a 20% return on my $59.90 dress. I eventually accepted that just to be done with them but that was also a scam. Wow I’m always so shocked by how low people will go for a buck and how horrible it is to treat people this way. Luckily I believe in karma so I know they will eventually pay for their sins.

This company Harper and Lane is a scam. Clothes are not what they advertise and it cannot be returned. all of the cheapest quality. They do not provide any means to return.You cannot reach them. The only option was to send an email to which they never responded. Stay away from Harper & Lane. Any good review on here is 100% fake.

ordered shoes in my regular size 8.5 - they were too small - having read their return policy I let contacted the company for an exchange - first I was required to send a photo of the loafers showing the sizing issue - seriously? They claimed it would assist them with their internal review and ensure they would handle my request appropriately . . . yeah right. Next email was full of sincere apologies, understanding my frustration, blah blah blah. And how they wanted to save me the hassle of returning the shoes and their concern for the environment. They wanted me to donate the wrong size and buy a new pair for 40% of the price . . . um no. I finally agreed to get the new pair for the shipping cost ($12.95 - a little high for shoes that weigh less than a pound) just to stop having to deal with these scammers. I highly recommend you do not buy from this company.

The clothes they sent were awful. One print of the shirt was blurry and the other blouse was oversized. But worst of all, it's all made of POLYESTER, the worst material for clothes, it doesn't "breathe". Why didn't I read the reviews... $180 down the toilet, because returning them to China is impossible.

Buyer Please beware of this company.,Harper&Lane. Their website looks very legitimate it’s all in English, however it isn’tOn September10th 2025 . I ordered a pair of boots online for$ 89.00 I received an order confirmation by email even a USPS tracking number. The tracking number hasn’t updated in over 10 days since September 30th 2925. I contacted them through email and the refuse me a refund.

They pretend to be a business in the US but it’s Chinese. Returns are really difficult. Don’t fall for it. From now on, I will check if companies I do business with direct ships from China!

Don’t buy from this company. I ordered 2 different sizes of a product, and they will not provide the information for me to be able to return the product. Now I’m out $100 because of shady business. DO NOT ORDER from this company, it’s a scam!

I only gave it 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. Ordered 4 items and 3 of them were of poor quality. In order to return merchandize you have to contact the company which I did. Got a run-around on why I am returning, asking very specific questions. Asking to send pictures of the clothes. Requesting I send pictures side by side with my personal items of the same size to see why things didnt fit, etc. After back and forth finally they offered me a "full refund" but only if I cover the oversees shipping costs of return. This is mentioned on their website I just didnt expect this sort of gimmick so I didnt look. My bad. Most likely will end up recovering a fraction of the cost at best. Shame on you for praying on people like this. Not buying from them again.

They won’t let you return your items! They make you email and then just keep asking questions!!

I ordered a pair of shoes for my daughters birthday that were $69 from Harper and Lane. When my daughter got the shoes, she said that they did not look good on her and that she would not wear them. So I proceeded the refund process. They told me that I had to have take pictures of the shoes on her feet. Then have her put on other shoes that looked good and take pictures of them and send it to them so they can see how bad the shoes look on her. Any other company that you want to send shoes back to would give you a shipping label and have the shoes sent back to them with no charge. I did have my daughter take pictures of the shoes and I sent the pictures to Harper and Lane. Finally after at least six emails requesting a return address, They finally gave me an address in China to send them back and told me that it would cost me over $30 to send the shoes back. So now I have to ask my daughter who is very busy with the full-time job and kids to send the shoes back. In addition, I am am out $30 plus. I will never buy from this company again.

This company states you can get a refund but, there is no link to get a refund. Instead, you have to mail it back to China (very costly) or they will give just a partial refund. Clothes were very small, obviously designed for very small women.. run away and shop elsewhere.
