Misleading, Cheap, and Obstructive Return – Skip HappyGira Bed Rail

Ordered the Kids Safety Bed Rail from HappyGira on January 29 for $150. Product images showed it wrapping around the bed, but it’s only for one side—not disclosed clearly.

Took a month to arrive (February 25). Feels cheap and flimsy for the price.

Listing doesn’t say anything about screwing into the mattress/box springs—misleading setup.

Contacted support for return: slow replies (2-3 days each), pushed me to keep it, now demanding an unboxing video to process return. Never mentioned this upfront; it’s unreasonable for an unused item.

Poor quality, false advertising, slow shipping, and terrible service. Avoid HappyGira—better options exist for bed rails.

This was incredibly easy to assemble. It honestly took about two minutes from start to finish. The quality feels great and really durable, and I can’t wait to put it to use on our upcoming trip.

Love our play pen; the customer service team has also been extremely helpful responding to our questions about ways to change configuration. Also a sturdy and beautiful product

I ordered the natural timber playpen which worked fine for about 8 months, during which we did not collapse or move it at all. The latch is awkward to use and it just didn’t seem worth the $300 price tag but we were fine with it. Then we tried to reshape it and one of the plastic hinges broke, and one section totally fell apart with the wooden rods falling out- they seemed loosely glued in. I contacted customer service to replace the hinge and after proving the break with a video (this is reasonable) - and they offered to replace the piece for free. The catch was that they’d only wave the shipping fee if I left a positive review on this site. Sorry but bribing for positive reviews doesn’t sit right with me. So here is my honest review and I’ll pay for the shipping so my son’s playpen remains functional. You literally have to check a box saying you haven’t received an incentive to leave a review on Trustpilot!

I love my wood playpen. It fits my decor nicely and keeps baby safe and secure! Shipping and assembly were extremely easy!

They are basically scammers; no other description for them.

I ordered the pregnancy pillow for a friend and it was very poor quality. This company is awful! The company charged my credit card immediately and then took over 30 days to receive the pillow. They ignored my requests for an update on shipping. The pillow was over $100 and was such poor quality! It didn’t look anything like the picture on their website. It was thin and the stuffing was coming out. I immediately attempted to return it and was told they only accept returns for “defective” items. I explained that this item was defective because it was such poor quality and they said I would have to return it to Singapore. When I requested a return to a US address I never heard back from them again. I suspect this is NOT a US company! What a waste of money!

I purchased the playpen for my daughter so she has a safe place to play. I’m extremely happy with the playpen. The setup was easy and it’s easy to clean when spills happen.

Great product, easy to assemble. Gave our baby a large safe play space!

Love their portable playpen. It is so easy to set up. A great way to create a safe place for my children.

They took forever to ship my item. I asked to cancel it and they refused. I got the item about 1 month later. I asked for a return label and they stopped responding. The item was pricey and is very low quality. I made an account here just so people can know how bad they are. I had to cancel the purchase with my credit card company and they ruled in my favor.
All of the 5 star reviews are here basically say the same thing about a playpen. They are either bots or being paid to put fake 5 star reviews.

This is an absolute scam. They took 8 weeks to send the playpen I ordered and when it finally arrived it was missing parts. Now they are not responding to my emails and are not offering a refund. Keep in mind, I am trying to keep my baby safe with the playpen I had hoped to use.

Waited over a month for my gift to ship. When they finally shipped it they messed up the address. I contacted them immediately and they told me there was nothing they could do. Finally got a call from FedEx because the address was obviously erroneous. I told them to send it back to the company. The company finally acknowledged their error after 6 emails and while they apologize want me to pay them an additional $40 in shipping!!! I told them to cancel and credit my account which, of course, has not been done yet.

The product is the perfect addition to a house to keep your kiddo safe and secure while given them a space to roam. It was easy to put together and customer service is positive

The play pen broke as we were putting it together. The stitching was coming apart, the playpen was flimsy and wobbly, and it basically was $220 that barely lasted a week. I didn't do the research I should have before buying - otherwise I would have seen all the warnings. Check out the BBB website. MORE OR LESS A SCAM DONT GIVE IT A CHANCE

Waiting over a month (ordered 12/29, received 1/30, with notice the rest only just cleared customs yesterday) for what appears to be quite the cheaply manufactured “6in1” to then only receive pieces dropped in a cardboard box (you can’t gift something in a F cardboard box people. Where is the box the item was in at???) with zero assembly assistance is preposterous and an absolute no for me.
Buy local. That’s my best suggestion or simply be as patient (or more) than Job.

My toddler has become increasingly active and curious of course. The playpen from Happy Gira nicely fences her in but just like a little monkey she loves to shake her cage a lot. A corner spool came off and I requested a replacement from Happy Gira. Response was speedy and spool is getting replaced, and they're not only giving one but four. That's a win. I hope it gets here fast, then I can give them 6 stars🤩

I had a frustrating experience with HappyGira’s customer service. I requested an exchange for a smaller playpen size, but was told they only accept returns if the item is damaged. To make matters worse, they refused to provide a return label and asked me to ship it back at my own expense to Singapore. So much hassle for a new mom who’s already juggling so much, and trying to make sense of the vague and roundabout emails from their customer service manager, Lila. While their tone was polite, the lack of clear, practical support and rigid policies made the whole process unnecessarily stressful. I really hope they improve their return and exchange policies.

They have a really great quality product that lasts. I was able to actually make TWO play pens out of one by buying a bigger size (100x100). Love it!
