We work with schools, corporates and families to improve reading attainment, inclusion and diversity awareness. We do this through the curation and delivery of diverse, inclusive and representative bestsellers for children. These are aligned to the curriculum and school topics ranging from neurodiversity, cultural and religious differences, rights respecting values etc. We also deliver creative writing workshops and keynote speaking at education conferences on Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. The girls are fantastic and have created such an amazing subscription box. You can tell how much time and thought goes into selecting the items that go into each box. The short stories they write each month are well written.
Their books - Sagas of Anya, and Land of the Nurogons are two amazing middle grade books.
I would highly recommend!!

My husband and I were looking for a meaningful gift for our daughter's 9th birthday last year and I stumbled upon Mbawa Books. I have to say, they had me sold from the home page! I LOVED the fact that there were young, female entrepreneurs...authors to boot! It meant a lot to see representation, so we signed our daughter up for the subscription IMMEDIATELY. We definitely hit a home run with the box, as our daughter was over the moon with the 1st box and she waited with anticipation for the arrival of subsequent boxes. The selections were diverse and you can tell how much thought and love goes into picking the theme, books and little gifts each month. Whats really great is that you also get the short stories from Kirsten & Aiyven...PRICELESS. Although we purchased for our 9 year old initially, our 7 year old wanted in on it as well and our 3 year old tried to see what he could "steal" away with😃 These boxes leave you feeling great about your purchase-not only for the enrichment brought into your home, but because you are sowing into the lives of another family. Mbawa Books all the way!

This is a fantastic business with exceptional customer service - and I highly recommend Mbawa Books if you are looking for great and unique reads for your kids. I will be purchasing from them again very soon and can't wait to see what will be in the first subscription box for my family. We are all well pleased!
