The Women's Underwear isn't what it used to be. The Quality has gone way down. The sizes are so much smaller than the old ones. Their chart is WRONG! I've been wearing the same size for years. The elastic is flimsy and falls down or rolls down. The fabric is thinner. I have old pairs that have held up for years! And I can tell that the new ones are considerably smaller. Cheaper fabric, Cheaper elastic. I won't be buying them ever again. They have lost a customer of over 50 years.

I am 59 years old. My mother started buying me Hanes underwear in the 1970s. When I hit my late teens, I took over the torch and kept buying them myself. For nearly my entire life, Hanes had a monopoly on my underwear purchases. We had a good run. I trusted them.

Then came the dark ages of modern corporate cutting corners. Six months ago, I bought two six-packs of Hanes underwear stamped "Made in Vietnam." Apparently, Hanes has replaced their classic, durable cotton with a proprietary blend of single-ply tissue paper and wishful thinking. In just six brief months, these things are already shredding, tearing, and sporting more holes.

I used to get years of faithful service out of a pair of Hanes. Now? They are disintegrating before my eyes.
When I called customer service to report this sudden wardrobe evaporation, I was greeted by a representative who could not possibly have cared less. Her vibe was deeply dismissive. Hoping for a more human touch, I poured my heart into an email. The response? Absolute silence. Ghosted by my own underwear brand.

Under normal circumstances, a bad batch of briefs wouldn’t keep me up at night. But in today’s world, it’s just exhausting to watch "Corporate America/Canada" squeeze every last cent out of manufacturing while treating lifelong, decades-long loyalty like junk mail.

I’ve given you guys roughly 40 years of business, Hanes. The least you could do is make underwear that survives a standard laundry cycle, or at least reply to an email!

What happened?!!! Your company is mass producing junk now at a higher cost too! No excuses for this! Your products use to be good! I just purchased the panties and upon putting them on, my fingers ripped right through them!!! How cheaply made! They were NOT cheap as far as cost! Plus some of the panties were totally different sizes but marked the same! I didn’t buy defective ones either, purchased at Walmart! I’m out money for about 4 packs! I shall go to fruit of the loom now and/or another company. I won’t be purchasing Hanes anymore! I’m 61 and always bought Hanes, so yeah, I know! Poor

The fabric is thinner than last time I purchased from them, two pairs ripped at the leg seam when I put them on and one pair is coming away from the elastic at the waistband the second time I wore it.

Poor quality i have bought Hanes briefs underwear for over 25 yrs. I purchased an 8 pack for 16.66. No worries there.they started falling apart.band comes apart. The quality is horrible material,elastic band.i called 8/19/26 & today
9/11/26.same crap have to have receipt.really??
1 it was 4 pairs. Then 2 more. I have 2 left.there ok. Because I have not worn them.i cut bands what was left & use to dust my furniture. The other 2 will be in my drawer. If you googel where there made lots of foreign countries.i did Google found reports.there was a picture & the complaints were the same.cheap quality material & elastic band comes apart.& is not accredited to the BBB. SO Ladies I suggest you find another brand.1 gal said long time buyer.So basically I paid 16.99 + tax for 8 dust clothes. I can go to
Harbor Freight & for abt 8 bucks i can get a pk of red cotton shop towels.with 12 count.

The traditional pocket tee in 100% cotton feels and looks like a low quality kitchen towel. The material is thin, rough, and full of slubs. The sewing is practically beside the point, the entire thing can be pulled apart by a toddler. Complete junk, a very sad ending to an iconic American brand.

Hanes is now the worst company for undergarments and socks. I don't know what happened to their quality but I bought a package of underwear a month ago from Walmart and ofcourse I opened package added them to my drawer and threw away packaging but every pair has separated creating holes by the waste band and the fly areas. So I don't know if the Hanes company has changed fabric to weaker material, or their company doesn't have happy employees but they have lost a lifetime consumer over this. I can see why their company doesn't show reviews. It's all about creating garbage to sell customers so the corporate can make money and fill their pockets. Also shows they have no remorse of their horrible quality that they don't even offer a free package. NEVER AGAIN!!! (If needed would upload pic)

I ordered a pack of 10 boxer briefs and I received it on July 10th. I went on vacation last week and to my surprise only 2 of the 10 briefs were the size I ordered, size L. The rest they were too small they won’t even fit a 6 years old child. I called today and spoke with a representative from Hanes, named George, and I explained to him the Situation I went through and that I had no under wear to use while on vacation, and all he said is “sorry”. I requested to speak with his supervisor and he refused my request stating that this is nothing to talk about. I’m very upset and disappointed by Hanes product and the way I was handled by an emotionless person who refused to pass me to his superior. He agreed though that I sent it back, so now I have to make a trip to a USPS center which is very far from where I am. Never purchasing Hanes product ever again. Stay away from their products, Hanes has regressed through the years and I’ve witnessed that personally, I’ve been their costumer since 1982.

I bought my husband a pkg of underwear and they are all coming apart!! He is very upset about this. He always bought Hanes, I didn’t know what to tell him!!!

I purchased a Hanes brand bra on Amazon. After the window to return closed I realized it was a size smaller that stated on the label. I contacted Hanes, and they refunded my money, even sent the check to Canada.

I bought a 10 pack of Hanes briefs from target a few months ago and just recently threw them out in the trash. I have been a Hanes customer for many years, but the new product quality is just not the same. The inner panel on the new briefs is narrowed, which allows things to hang out even during moderate exercise like walking. i’m sure they’re saving some money on material, but they are going to lose a lot of customers.

THE BRALETTES ARE MADE FOR 11 YEAR OLD GIRLS!!!! 3 times buying 3 times went up a size..3 times so tight could not wear them! gave them to charity! will never purchase from them again! i am thing 36B they fit my cousin's lil girl! too much aggravation!

Been buying Hanes white briefs, for many years. Something has changed, the flies on the briefs are inconsistent and does not hold the area in place. I just bought 3 ten packs and have thrown half of them away. Time to look for another brand.

I have been buying the Hanes no show socks for years. My last pack, I have been throwing out socks with great elasticity and like no color change, so still nice and new, because the holes in the socks. Bright white socks that I don’t bleach in any manner have holes in them. Quality has really gone down. I have worn socks I have checked before leaving the house and take off shoes at drs office or someones house and there’s now a hole in it… it’s so bad…

Hanes Tough and Durable socks are wimpy and poor. A couple years ago, they were good. Now they are a different blend, snagging, thin, uncomfortable and weak. Bought a 12 pack at Walmart, called Hanes and voiced my dis-satisfaction. They did not take my full name or any contact information.

Advertised as moisture wicking fabric, I expected xtemp fabric and got 100% cotton. Hanes has gone downhill big time. Their products are inconsistent and cheap. I will never buy another hanes product.

The measurements of the sweatpants received do not match the measurements in the product description on their website. If I return the item to them, they are not giving me a full refund. If I had changed my mind about the product I could understand why they are not refunding the cost I paid to have them shipped to me. But that is not the case - their description is inaccurate and as a result I ordered the wrong size.

Big Beefy T’s
Been buying Hanes Big Beefy T-shirts for years and always loved them, always the same size and standard t-shirt 3X, the problem is now when you order the standard shirts they send you the big and tall sizes and if you’re wanting a MoMo or a short cut dress then that’s Ok! But I just want a regular t-shirt. I think they just have an overload of big and tall shirts there passing off to me and you as regular t-shirts, unfortunately going to have to find a different brand of shirts. So Men look elsewhere! Or just look for some high heel shoes to go with your new Hanes dress because the Big Beefy T’s are a Big Beefy Rip Off.
