Great staff
I had a very good experience with this dealership, especially thanks to the manager (Philp). From the start, I was treated with great attention and professionalism, and the manager made sure I felt comfortable and well informed throughout the process. Although I initially had to visit multiple times because the car was not ready for a test drive, the situation was handled politely and professionally. Once everything was arranged, the experience was very positive. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, answering all my questions without any pressure. Unfortunately, I could not proceed with the purchase due to the interest rate and the available color options. However, I truly appreciated the excellent customer service and would happily recommend this dealership to others.

Excellent experience all-round. The car was exactly as described, had been cleaned and was at a good price. Staff were kind and welcoming; Ethan was very helpful on my first visit to see and test-drive the car, and George made the rest of the buying process straightforward and relaxed.

Excellent Service
After calling into the showroom and looking at number of cars. We decided on one called Jayden, who was really helpful and we arranged a collection date. He even came in on his day off to finalise everything, even polishing the car

Overall very helpful and informative
Overall very helpful and informative. Would have given a higher score had the electric vehicle we purchased been charged up more. We were told that it wasn't due to the number of e cars they had but as they knew for two days that we would be picking up the car on the Saturday it would have been nice to have had a bigger charge - especially as we are new to e vehicle ownership and need to get familiar with charging arrangements.

Fantastic Service
After having an awful experience with Cinch we visited Hammonds Norwich to look at buying a new car. We cannot praise the experience highly enough. Walking around the forecourt you can view all the available cars with a QR code for more details and a key number.
Upon entering the cabin/showroom we were attended to by Will who was extremely helpful in arranging test drive of a couple of vehicles. We were told that most cars are “ready to go” which was exactly what we needed.
We were in the showroom in total for 4 hours but this was a positive than a con. It meant we ensured the car was right for us, we were given time to go back and make sure it was right for us, have private discussions about the vehicle and finance etc.
Both Will and Jamie were super helpful, patient and helped reassure us after our awful experience with Cinch.
We have ended up with a car we love and would recommend Hammonds to anyone that would ask!

I have had a great experience against this is the second time I have used Hammond cars in Norwich, today I had George! Which he was really helpful, very friendly didn’t push sells and made the experience of buying a car super easy!

Faulty car
I purchased a car in November and since have replaced 3 shock absorbers, a suspension arm, 3 tires, back windscreen wiper and a cv joint. The left hand cv joint is now going and I have had a on going fault with the stop start which I was told was fixed.
I have emailed a complaint and I have now sent a letter and had no correspondence in return, I have also left a voicemail as no branch is available on the phone.
I feel I was sold a faulty car and now you are reluctant to resolve the issue.
It is something I will be taking to small claims court if not dealt with soon.

I would certainly use again
The initial contact by telephone was a little shaky but the service once in Norwich the following day was without fault. Car seems okay during the 40 miles drive to Suffolk although one of the two keys supplied doesn't work (batter checked) so either faulty or possibly for the wrong vehicle.

Patient salesman who gave me time to consider options, reasonable prices, although don’t expect to haggle! Only negatives were the car could not be delivered to another branch and the price went up by £100 from when I saw online to when I purchased!

Terrible collection service after sale via Carwow
I sold my focus via Carwow and on auction day I was informed that my car had been 'sold' to Hammond cars £500 above the reserve price.
Hammond then contacted me to say they wanted to arrange an AA inspection which took a week to organise. The inspector turned up over 4 hours late! The Carwow collection service was arranged via driive me four days later. The driver had to get a train then a bus so turned up late. He then couldn't log into the driive me app but insisted he had to do this to upload more photos and documents. Carwow, Hammond and driive me were no help and completely inflexible regarding alternative options to the app but finally pictures were accepted via WhatsApp. The driver was here for almost 3 hours then I got a call from Hammond trying to knock £150 off the agreed price because the rear pads were worn! I told the dealer that I had declared this and it was noted on the MOT. He said he hadn't looked at this! I finally received the agreed amount.
Up to the point of the auction, I would give Carwow 5 stars. For all the problems and delay after that until collection and payment I would give Hammond 1 star.

Price gouging
I test drove a car from the Norwich branch which had been price gouged to the tune of £400. This was due to the current fuel crisis quote unquote according to the salesman and the manager and although I was a cash sale there was no negotiating the price ( 3 defects on the mot) hence it is still for sale!

I bought by a car from the Norwich…
I bought by a car from the Norwich branch and within 24 hours it had broke down and had 3 separate problems which involved the car shaking, not starting and struggling to move in all gears. When calling o they weren’t very helpful when I told them I am broken down and they said they could arrange something to get the car in a few days. Not happy with how the situation was dealt with, made it even more stressful. Kurtis was great though!
