Renewal coming up which reminded me about my experience with Hagerty. I was having trouble finding a company willing to insure my ride, but Hagerty was eager to help. The premium is very fair and affordable, including the road service upcharge. The road service turned into a real blessing when my ride broke down on the trip home. No hassle service covered the tow.

Don’t buy a car from an auction unless you get it checked out. I purchased one assuming that there was nothing serious wrong with it but the fan blower didn’t work and the gas gauge doesn’t work. Now it’s taking longer to get the title than from the state. That’s the last car I will buy online. Hagerty doesn’t give a shit about you, it’s all about money!!! POS I still haven’t received the title!!!

I have a rare Harley and Supercar insured with Hagerty and their online auction updates are both intriguing and keep me tuned into the automotive market prices. I always take time when I have down time peruse the site - it’s enjoyable and informative.

Very good communication, excellent customer service, adjuster was prompt to view damage to my vehicle.

On the freeway, I damaged my tire and wheel on my 2024 Corvette by an unknown item. I notified Hagerty and they required some pictures and an estimate. Once they receive the estimate, they approved the payment and I got my new wheel and tire from my local Chevy dealer, Sarchione Chevrolet!

They have a creative way of charging in film when I advised I wanted to make payments, then she says “oh I charged your card for full payment!
Must be in financial trouble, I messed up by telling her I wanted to make minimum payment since I was looking somewhere else!

I’ve been a Hagerty customer for 15 years. This past month was my first claim. The claim process was very easy. I submitted pictures and video capture via the phone. The Hargerty team kept me updated via phone calls and emails throughout the entire process.

My husband and I have had several vehicles insured by Hagerty over a period of several years. My premiums have always been paid on time! There was never any lapse in insurance coverage. We live in FL and our vehicle was damaged/totaled during the back-to-back Hurricanes in 2024. We submitted a claim to Hagerty and even though we have a “guarantee pay policy”, they are denying the claim and not paying out. In addition, their appraiser came out to check the vehicle and stated the vehicle was no longer usable due to damage caused by the back-to-back storms in Florida. Again, Hagerty will not pay out. The vehicle was at a shop for some repairs and upgrades. We have provided pictures and had the owner of the auto repair shop give testimony and provided pictures. They still won’t pay out. Hagerty has no problem taking thousands of dollars from me in premiums but has every excuse as to why they don’t have to pay out for a legitimate claim. I have gotten an attorney involved and they refuse to respond to my attorney. I highly DO NOT recommend insuring your vehicle with Hagerty.

Im very pleased with everything from hagerty. The price for the amount of insurance I have on my car. I hoped I would never have to file a claim on my car, but it was handled with the utmost professionalism and settled my claim very fast. The body shop is took my car to for the repairs was impressed with the estimate and the details of the estimate. Im very happy with Hagerty insurance and I will recommend anyone to them if they have a classic car.
