I have used Guardian for a few years......wouldn't go anywhere else.

I will never recommend anybody with this company...very poor customer service with management especially at Washington location!!! :0((

When I moved for a job, I chose Guardian Storage. The space was indoor and climate controlled. We had also purchased the insurance in case anything were to happen. A year later, we come back to the unit and EVERYTHING was covered in mildew. We have four children, so that meant clothes, toys, furniture, priceless memorabilia (pictures, jerseys and signed baseballs, etc.). Years of memories destroyed. Nothing of ours was wet before placing it into storage and the manager kept insisting it was somehow our fault. After further investigation, it was found that their roof had leaked and there were cracks along the bottom of the wall. Since their units are basically built on a giant hill, any amount of water would automatically run down towards the units and any holes or cracks allow for water or snow to enter. With PA's humidity, it is no wonder our belongings became damaged. The manager there continued to be short with us and offered $1,000 to shut us up. He said the insurance would not cover it and we should just take the money. If we were able to, we would have fought it because we examined the contract and we were entitled to be able to use it, but because of a very recent death in the family and other stressors, we let it go. This place could have at the very least given us a full refund, but even that could not replace some of the items that had to be thrown away due to their lack of maintenance.

While waiting for my home to become ready, I needed a place to store the furniture I was purchasing for the new home as well as other items needed for the move. Guardian Storage was safe, clean, convenient and the staff was great. At one point the lock was not put on correctly and a phone call was placed immediately so the items in the unit would remain safe. I would definitely recommend and use Guardian Storage again.

I moved and stored my 3 bedroom household for over six months at Guardian Storage in Westminster, CO. For me, it was a great decision. My storage unit on the 3rd floor was easily accessible, safe and secure in a modern facility. The manager was outstanding and really worked to provide clients with a positive experience. Finally, I was so pleased that Guardian Storage would do special things: offering recycling and paper shredding, children winter coat drive, etc.

I have been a long time customer of Guardian Storage in the Shadyside area of Pittsburgh. The service has always been superlative. When I have any questions I am given a quick and courteous response. Property Manager John Hoburg has always provided the utmost in customer service. Nothing but the best! !

I have been a customer for 3 years now, every time I call the staff there has been very accommodating and helpful, can't say enough good things about the employees. The facilities are well maintained and very clean.

Great place, clean, easy access, secure, good customer service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my friends.

I rented from Guardian Storage 30 yrs ago for the first time and again last yr.I always had the best customer service from Cindy Herd 30 yrs ago in East Liberty when I moved overseas.I rented there long turn about 7 yrs. Last yr I used the Fox Chapel storage for a short turn rental after my Aunt passed away.I dealt with Bob I believe and he was the nicest man and so helpful. I went to move out the belongings on New Years Eve I didn't know they would be closing early,not only did he let me in I also had a problem with my key to my lock.Bob took the time to help me get my lock off in the freezing cold and stayed until we were finished.What a very nice person to do that on New Years Eve.I will always recommend Guardian to anyone that asks about storage!!! My experience with dealing with the staff, the facilities, and "borrowing" the van were all excellent. I would highly recommend guardian as a result!

All paperwork transactions completed effortlessly. Staff conduct themselves in professional and businesslike manner. Clean and neat facility. Brand new facility has dollies for customers to use. Offered best rates at the time also.

I need a reliable, safe place to store a van as I don't have the garage to do it. The Guardian facility in Blawnox is perfect with a large unit that holds not only the full size van, but also some large dog crates and other items.
The lot is free of clutter and clean.
The easy access is great.

I thought I would be needing a storage unit for my daughter. I went to the fox chapel location in pittsburgh. I purchased a unit to be used the next day. 198.00 plus I also purchased packaging material locks ect. The following day I found out I would not be needing it. And I called to cancel. I could not recieve a refund. I think that is horrible business non professional and would never recommend your company I paid for a storage unit that was never used

I have been a client there for 12 years. They are not only friendly and caring, they are so efficient, well organized and clean. I have nothing but nice things to say about them. Plus you have an inside loading dock so weather is never an issue!!

This facility is far superior to those I have used in other cities. It is very well maintained and well lighted. Some storage firms don't even have lights in each unit. My long distance movers arrived very late on a weekend but Guardian assists in any way possible. The elevators and carts are always available. Of course, the staff is excellent and helpful in every way!

Until this fall everyone had been great to work with and very helpful at Guardian. I am very disappointed and upset over the length of time the elevator was down over the holidays. I took furniture out of storage before Thanksgiving and have not been able to return it do to the elevator being out of service. I was also not able to remove my Christmas decorations from my unit due to not being able to maneuver the stairs with the large tubs and boxes. After paying over $200 a month and no ability to return or retrieve items from my unit, this is very disappointing that it was over 2 months till the repair was made and no updates in between from management. I received emails the first week and nothing until just recently when the repair was complete.

I love the climate controlled area. The unit can be accessed most any time. It is well lit and secure. With the elevator it is easy to haul belongings to the second floor and take them to the unit.
