Shady Business of Nursing Home
If there were a zero stars choice that is what they would get. This facility allowed an unauthorized person to sign an admission agreement to get my mother in their facility. They have refused to give my mother her rheumatoid arthritis medication. The business office filled out an application for Medicaid without talking to me, the power of attorney. Everything they have done has been illegal. I hired an attorney and filed complaints with the PA Department of Health. No one from the county assistance office will speak to me, the business office at the facility has been instructed by the facility attorney not to speak to me, and now I am trying to file a complaint against the County Assistance Office. If you choose this facility, you better do your homework, have an attorney on file and make sure that everything they do is documented and you get a copy of that documentation. This is definitely not the only nursing facility that does shady business. Be ready because it is a full-time job to deal with them. Oh, and they will bankrupt you in the process. Find another facility or do at-home-care.
