Totally fantastic experience with Raj and Arjun. Both are extremely professional. They replied to all my queries via email and organised my EBC and Gokyo Lake Trek flawlessly. Have done treks with green valley 4 times now and have had no issues with any of them. Arjun is very welcoming, friendly and easy to communicate with (it feels like visiting a family member or close friend). Even deep in the mountains, he’s contactable and was quick to organise last minute things like helicopter return (which we needed once). The guides and porters were all super nice and knowledgeable. The goodbye dinner and drinks at the end is a lovely touch. Will definitely be coming back many more times, and always with Green Valley!

We did the ABC trek with Arjun of Green Valley Treks Nepal, our 4th time with them.
We had an immensely enjoyable trip with every aspect taken care of, from the best tea houses to best view points for photos, carrying fresh fruit for desert every night.
When the weather was turning bad our guide Ashish planned on getting us up to base camp a day earlier so that we could get the best sunrise views the day after. He organized crampon rentals at Deurali because we had left ours behind.
Always cheerful and motivating Ashish and our two porters made the trek so enjoyable. They monitored us for any signs of AMS and provided excellent company. We are planning our next trek with them already.

I have done EBC and Kalaphatar with Green Valley Trek Absolutely 5 star company! Very well organised,communications flawless and their prices are very competitive! I have had an amazing time with my guide,Raj he is a humble,friendly guy! He’s knowledge of the mountains just outstanding! I couldn’t ask more, loved every minute of my time in Nepal! Already planning my next trip with this company!

A good friend and I trekked with Green Valley to EBC in April of 2024. Communication from the company in advance of our trip was exceptional, and Arjun helped us with hotel bookings and other trip details outside the normal itinerary. All aspects of the trip went smoother than I could have hoped. We opted for a helicopter ride to Lilla rather than the usual plane - good call, as flights were all canceled the day we were to leave. Helicopters fly when planes can’t. We also opted to take a helicopter down from EBC rather than trekking down. This shorted the trip and we both agreed it was a great call as we were quite tired upon reaching EBC.
We had our own guide (Ambar) and porter (Ganesh) who were a son/father team. Both were absolutely incredible. The local knowledge and experience of having Ambar with us made the trip all the more incredible. The fact that they were father/son was really fun.
I highly recommend Green Valley, and if you’re able to get Ambar and Ganesh as your team, you won’t regret it.

I had a wonderful time doing the Langtang valley trek organized by green valley trek! The guide and the office staff were always super helpful and caring and made me feel completely at ease! I would definitely recommend Green valley to others!

Our trek was expertly organised, by the team who have clear experience in these things, with great advice on where to go and excellent guides. They had a great demeanour and went over and above, tailoring the trip to our needs and helping us with things in Kathmandu. Highly recommend!

Everest Base Camp had been on my bucket list for years. Tried to recruit some friends but I ended up traveling solo, Green Valley took such great care of me from start to finish. My guide Kesha was amazing and the porters just as exceptional. Not going to sugarcoat the trek as it was the toughest (8) days physically of my life.

Take the altitude medication if you’re not accustomed to the altitude. I came directly from sea level and would not have made it without it.

Definitely get travel insurance; this is a MUST! I watched a lot of people getting sick and having to get evacuated.

I am a single American female +50yrs old and felt 100% safe and taken care of the entire trek. Would recommend Green Valley Trekking over all the other companies I researched and observed on the journey.

I did take a helicopter from near EBC to Kathmandu as I am bit older and did not want to get hurt on the way down. Green Valley organized everything.

Best experience of my life. If you’re thinking about doing one of these treks; just go do it. Life is too short!

Saru, with Green Valley Nepal Treks, led us on a fantastic full day tour of Kathmandu.
We had an entire day to see as much of Kathmandu, Nepal as possible. On our list were the seven UNESCO world heritage sites and Green Valley Nepal Treks handled everything, including coordinating each site, and a day long, Driver and Guide. Green Valley Nepal Treks worked hard to help us with our difficult scheduling issues. The entire tour was fun and staff so professional. Saru was our guide and she was awesome. She really knew about all of the sites we visited and took personal care to help us get what we wanted. She was kind, personable and professional. Saru took us to each site and they were so amazing. We were impressed with how she explained cultural and religious practices and also how life is for people in Nepal. I would definitely request Saru on the next trip and recommend her and Green Valley Nepal Trek for people visiting Kathmandu.

My experience with the Green Valley staff and guide and porter were 10/10! I am a solo female traveler and I had several unexpected issues present before and during my trip and the entire experience was as seamless as possible due to the excellent quality of care and consideration of my experience. I am very grateful and will definitely be returning to use the team again. My guide Durga was phenomenal in every way and a great trekking partner. My porter Samdu was amazing as well and I thoroughly enjoyed their company during my Annapurna trek. Highly recommend the entire team!

I went on the 10 day Everest Base Camp private group trek with helicopter back to Kathmandu with my 2 brothers and my sister-in-law Nov 3-12, 2023.

I'd highly recommend this trekking company. Arjun the business owner used to be a Nepal guide himself for many years before starting his own trekking company. They know the experience well, and they've thought of every detail to make your trip to Nepal wonderful. From briefing us with trip details & packing list beforehand, arranging airport pickup/dropoff, hotels before and after the trek, helicopter flights, and all the details of the trek itself, they made this a very well-planned, smooth, and fun trip. Arjun is always super responsive and helpful over WhatsApp, and helped accomodate us when we needed to add an extra person, and when we wanted to switch our itenerary to stay in Dingboche an extra day to acclimatize to the altitude. They also had great recommendations for things to see in Kathmandu for our last day before the flight out.

Their whole team speaks very good English, and are really friendly, knowledgeable, humble, and fun. Their partnering helicopter pilot actually climbed to the very top of Everest two years ago and was sharing his experience — so cool to meet him! After the pilot dropped us off back in Kathmandu, Arjun invited us to dinner with his lovely wife and two adorable kids, and even took us to see all the lights and colorful sand art around town, as it happened to be Diwali.

If you're doing the Everest Base Camp trek, ask if our guide Gokarna is available! Green Valley Nepal has 40+ guides (I haven't met all of them and I'm sure they're wonderful since Arjun & his team vets them all), but I can personally vouch that Gokarna is truly amazing! My siblings and I had so much fun hiking with him. He not only is a super planner and took care of every detail along the trek, from hotels, meals, and the hike itself, but he's also so much fun to hike with. I haven't met someone before with such positive energy, warmth and joy, and truly loves guiding his clients, making friends with them, and making sure they have a really fun and memorable time! He shared with us about the Nepali and Sherpa culture, learned about ours, and shared with us trekking & Everest history. It was so nice to have a local Nepali as our guide. He's friends with so many of the other guides, porters, and hotel & restaurant owners — it was fun; it felt like we were hanging out with friends at the various stops. Gokarna would even run uphill at all the prettiest photo spots to help hold a spot for us so we didn't have to wait as long in the photo line — I don't know how he's never out of breath; my brothers and I are panting going uphill. 😆 One of the days my brother lost his favorite hat at a previous pit stop, and Gokarna was so sweet to run back over a mile to try to find it for him. Gokarna is very caring and attentative, and helped take care of my brothers who weren't feeling well toward the higher altitude. Us two girls didn't get any altitude sickness (girl power 🙌😜). Gokarna would guide us at a pace that worked for all of us, and also made sure we're safe during bridge and yak crossings, and icy sections. He is also very funny, joked around with us, and kept us positive and excited even though some days our legs were dead tired.

I am excited to come back and hike other beautiful treks in Nepal again! Will definitely be using Green Valley Nepal and requesting Gokarna as my guide 😊 I am genuinely happy to support this small business and all the wonderful Nepali people they hire.
