Dear Reviewer,

We are disappointed to read this review, as it does not accurately reflect what took place.

Firstly, our visit was pre-arranged and booked directly with the homeowner, who willingly agreed to have their solar system serviced. Our technician did not turn up unannounced.

Upon arrival, our technician was approached by the homeowner’s son, who accused our company of being involved in a previous installation costing approximately £7,000. We explained that this work had absolutely nothing to do with Green Power Renewables Ltd and that the individual named was not employed by our company.

During the visit, our technician observed a red warning light appearing intermittently on the inverter. This was brought to the son’s attention as a precaution. At no point did we claim that the system required an expensive repair or attempt to pressure anyone into purchasing additional work.

We fully respect customers seeking second opinions. However, we believe it is unfair for our company to receive a negative review based on a misunderstanding involving another business, particularly when our appointment was arranged with the homeowner’s consent.

We take our reputation and customer service seriously and would appreciate the facts being represented accurately.

Wow where do I start

Wow where do I start, after going from company to company and being messed around by them all, Martin and the team at green power really did outshine them all, from start to finish everything was explained clearly with no hard sale or being pushy, we are very happy with the work done and our 10 year maintenance package we have taken out.

Well done guys.

Unsolicited House Call

Unsolicited house call in person to vulnerable elderly couple.

Considering the website information you’d expect a lot more reviews & staff for the amount of work that’s been completed in the time frame of such a new company. Yet the MD supposedly has time to visit with no prior arrangement.

Thank you for your feedback.

We take concerns like this very seriously. We would like to clarify that we only ever visit homeowners following a pre-booked and agreed appointment. We do not carry out unsolicited door-to-door visits.

If there has been any misunderstanding or if this relates to another company, we would appreciate the opportunity to look into this further. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can investigate and resolve any concerns.

As a growing company, we pride ourselves on professionalism, transparency, and respecting all homeowners — especially when it comes to how appointments are arranged and conducted.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Green Power and couldn’t be more impressed. From the very first consultation, their team provided clear, honest advice without any sales pressure. They took the time to explain how to get the most from my renewable energy system and tailored their recommendations to suit my home and long-term goals.

The workmanship was professional and reliable, and everything was completed to a high standard. What really stands out is their focus on long-term performance rather than quick fixes. It’s reassuring to know the system is built to last and backed by a team that genuinely cares about quality and customer satisfaction.

Highly recommended for any homeowner looking to invest in solar with confidence.

Excellent support and a good job done.

The support from Jake in getting my battery system to work in the manner I wished has been great. He always responded to my queries and was helpful with Luxpower to sort out the use of my Solar output to charge the battery in their app.
The installation of the battery system took longer than expected as the engineer was on his own due to the illness of his partner. The engineer worked hard over many hours of the day after a long journey and it was difficult for him to handle the weight of the battery on his own. He returned on Saturday and completed the installation with only a short outage of the power to the house.
He was very helpful in installing the extra small consumer unit in the best space for appearance as requested. I thought he went out of the way to meet my requests to make he cables as unobtrusive as possible from the outside mounted battery and invertor.

I would recommend this company.

I don’t normally write reviews until we are happy or have seen results from what we have purchased however, Jake was very helpful, ensuring everything was working up to scratch and helping us install a new inverter as well as batteries and since then we’ve seen a lot of improvement with our readings from the generation meter. Would definitely recommend.
