A la prise en charge du véhicule ils ont insisté pour que je prenne leur assurance ce que je n'ai pas fait. Comme par hazard le jour de la restitution du véhicule le salarié de green motion a fait une inspection minutieuse du véhicule cherchant à tout prix à trouver un dommage, il a fini par me montrer une petite marque de 1 cm environ stipulant que j'avais endommagé le véhicule et que l'allais devoir payer les frais de réparation. J'ai refusé de signer le rapport et j'ai ensuite reçu ce dernier par email suivi d'un email indiquant qu'ils m'avaient prélevé sur mon compte bancaire 533,66 euros. La photo du rapport ne montrait rien de clair, j'avais aussi pris des photos sur lesquelles on ne voit aucun dommage. J'ai vraiment le sentiment que leur seul but a été de me faire payer le fait de ne pas avoir pris leur assurance! Pour moi il s'agit d'un comportement à la limite de l'escroquerie! Je déconseille fortement ce loueur de véhicule car ils ne sont pas digne de confiance.
Je passe sur le fait que je n'ai pas eu le véhicule que j'avais réservé mais un véhicule de catégorie inférieure et que ce dernier était mal adapté au pays (pas assez puissant pour les routes parfois très pentues du monténégro)

Without any contact they tried to charge ME 1000 euro.

No repair estimate or invoice is provided—just a vague claim of "serious engine damage.” No actual cost breakdown before they Charged the card

NO reply after two weeks after a complain.

be warned, this people are scammers

Picked up the car on 4/8;
After driving for an hour, I received a message that the smart key's battery was dead. After stopping the car at a parking lot, we couldn't lock it, let alone start it, because the key no longer worked. After waiting four hours in a parking lot with children, someone arrived who didn't speak a word of English and finally understood that the key's battery needed to be replaced. After another two hours of waiting, he returned with a battery, and we got the car running again. We continued our journey to our hotel. The next morning, the same problem. After a long WhatsApp chat with Green Motion's service department, no one came back after a full day of waiting to replace the battery, even though I had already indicated that the battery wasn't the problem, but the key itself, and that they would bring a spare key, but they refused. No one came back until the end of the day to replace the battery, but now they realized that this didn't solve the problem; the key was indeed broken. After a very lengthy discussion via WhatsApp (they refused to answer the phone), it was decided that someone would bring the spare key the next day. Meanwhile, we had been blocked for three days and had to use local taxis to get anywhere.
After receiving the new key, the problem was solved, and we could continue our trip the following days.
When we returned the car to the airport on August 14th, we had a big surprise. First, they claimed I had lost the key, and then they claimed I had broken it. They wanted me to sign a document stating that I was responsible for the damage. After all the worries we had experienced, and because the key was already a problem upon departure, I refused to sign this document. I can tell you that these people tried to intimidate me in a very aggressive and brutal manner.
A few hours later, I received the following email:

Hello,
Colleagues from the airport informed me that you were charged €500 for off-road and €641 for the key and delivery of the key.
Kind regards
A few days later, I discovered that €1,141 had indeed been deducted from my credit card, out of the €1,400 blocked guarantee. We have no idea what the €500 off-road charge entailed.
Our conclusion is that this company is a scammer, deliberately getting customers into trouble and then profiting from them. BE WARNED.

Avoid if you can!
We were waiting 45 minutes for someone to show up. The person who was supposed to give us the car was occupied with other customers and paid no attention to us whatsoever, so we were forced to wait over 45 minutes to be served.
The car we received had scratches and bumps, a check engine light and the exclamation light was on. The person did not tell us about the car's faults, so we had to look for him and found him in his car, ready to leave to ask about the issue. When we asked what the problem with it is we were told that the oxygen sensor was faulty, but as they said, it wasn't a problem for us to drive it, and drove off. The car managed our trip (hence the 2 stars), but we were driving it in fear that something might happen to it at any time. When the car accelerated, it produced noise.
The car itself was not washed, dirty inside and out.
For comparison, the other rental companies in the same area were working with several staff members who had better customer service skills.
Very disappointing experience, avoid if you can.

Beware! Please read before booking

Beware of this company, we booked car hire through EasyJet, provided our flight number - easyJet had asked us to do this so that if there were any delays the car hire company could hold the car for us. Unfortunately we were delayed multiple times and then it took a long time to get through passport control and also a long queue at the Green Motion desk in Tivat Airport. We were then told we were classed as a ‘no show’ and our car that we had pre paid in full for was no longer available. The lady at the desk was not very sympathetic, I’m not sure how else this could have been avoided. With 3 children it was difficult to find an alternative, fortunately after much time we did with another car hire company at a higher cost and was told Green Motion had a reputation for the unfair ‘no show’ terms. I also received an email later saying that ‘no show’ meant they didn’t need to refund me!! This contradicted what we were told at the desk so having to raise a complaint. Not a great start to our holiday in beautiful Montenegro. Please avoid at all costs :(

AVOID this company. Try other well established companies.

Once I arrived at the counter, they offered a smaller Peugeot 208 that it is a downgrade and some refund (25€). Because we are 4 people travelling I asked other rental services in the airport to see my other options before agreeing with a smaller car but greedy rental agents wanted higher prices (up to 100€/day!). So I agreed with the smaller car from original booking not to keep my family waiting. When we went to pick the car up it turned out it was a much damaged citroen C3. I don't care about body damages so I made a video as a proof and drove off.

Every passing moment we encountered new issues:

1- First 10 minutes of driving check engine light was on, I called them after near the pickup location to say that check engine light is on and that I want to return the car, but they do not agree to provide a refund and told me to contact booking.com for a refund. They ensured me the car's engine is in "perfect condition" and of course only on the phone. Engine always made a strange sound that we did not notice due to noise in the car park.

2- Rental agreement they provided has photo of only one scratch and they took more photos of it before signing it. They told me it was a system error. I have a video of the car during pick up to back the condition statement up. I am afraid they are preparing a scam to blame me for the issues the car already had.
3- One headlight was not working and each time I drove this posed a safety risk. In the night it was difficult to see.
4- Handbrake did not have a push button...
5- Car was so dirty insdie that each time it was left under sun it had an unbearable smell. Later I discovered leftover food pieces inside and throw them away.
6- I did not get the car with full fuel and fuel gauge did not show correctly, sometimes lower than it is. So I had to refill the car to be on safe side and not to be stranded with my family somewhere. At the end I returned the car with 3 times the fuel they gave me. (aprrox 40€ worth of fuel was left in tank)

Overall, it made our holiday annoying. My family was nervous each time we drive due to smell, engine, headlight, fuel situation. They only refund a small amount for downgrading but nothing for the other issues.

Intimidating and charged €382 for pre-existing damage

We rented a car from Green Motion in Montenegro, and it turned into one of the most stressful travel experiences we’ve had.

At pickup, we were pressured to either buy their insurance or leave a €1,000 deposit. I already had insurance through the rental platform, but the agent told me to cancel it and buy theirs. Having just landed with no internet and my policy already active, I couldn’t cancel, so we had to leave the deposit.
At drop-off at Tivat Airport, we were initially falsely accused of damaging the bumper (2 spots, 2 lines). We asked for proof the damage wasn’t pre-existing(I took photos at pickup but it was dark and couldn't see the spot well enough for such small scratches). They showed a blurry photo, initially refused to zoom in, and only reluctantly did so after we strongly insisted – revealing that the damage was pre-existing before we collect the car, the 2 spots and 1 line was visible from their photo!!! When we confronted her with her own evidence, she then changed her mind, made a phonecall in the language we couldn't understand, and said she's not charging us for the visible damage from her photo, but the one line that you can't see from the photo angle. The photo was even labeled “damage” in their system, proving she knew that's pre-existing. She refused to let us video the situation and said that's illegal. Plus, at pickup no one was let us aware of this pre existing damage, we were left with the key so we were not aware of this.

Therefore, they claimed the one line(hidden by the angle) was our responsibility, despite evidence of that's pre existing ,refused to let us photograph the evidence on her screen, and pressured us by saying things like:

“If you don’t sign and pay, we’ll consider you haven’t returned the car – we have your credit card details then you have a problem.”

“You can stay as long as you want, but it’s not our responsibility if you miss your flight.”

Before we pay,“You can contact customer support if you disagree”. After we paid "but now that you’ve signed, customer support will do nothing.”

With two small children and a flight to catch, we had no choice but to pay €382 for a whole bumper replacement(conflicting what she said only one line was our responsibility as we are charged for the whole bumper replacement)– a charge that unreasonably high for damage that was pre-existing, shown by their own system but refused to let us photo the proof.

We will be pursuing this case with our insurer, the rental platform, and European consumer protection authorities, as this felt like a setup to exploit travelers under pressure.

If you rent from this company, take extensive photos and videos at pickup and drop-off, or better yet, avoid them entirely.

Pathetic and pack of lairs

I booked the car with GM Podgorica Airport. When we checked in, we were asked if we paid 50 euros; the deposit would be immediately released. We paid 50Euros extra, but the deposit was not released. It took a week after completing the visit.
On collection, I was given an exit receipt and was told that I only needed to pay 2 Euros for exit. But we were charged 12 euros just for exiting after collection. After communicating and sending the receipt, GM agreed to refund the 12 euros but since 3 weeks nothing has been done.
The car given had no screen wash and was poorly maintained.
NEVER USE GREEN Motion Montenegro.

A good vehicle and fair service.

We were supplied with a great vehicle - a Dacia Sandero which was ideal for us. We had ordered a manual transmission but were supplied an automatic which was much better. Less to think about when driving in a different country on the opposite side of the road. The vehicle was fairly new, in good condition and lowish mileage. It was supplied clean and tidy.
My reason for the 4 star review is that the vehicle was not ready for collection when we arrived and we had to wait for about a half hour while it was cleaned and prepared. Also the reception desk is difficult to find and there is a longish and difficult walk, over uneven terrain, to the vehicle collection area, which is also difficult to find.
Return was easy and quick.

Felt like scam

The rental went well, and we got the car fast. The car was strongly damaged, hadn't any Green Motion signs outside or inside the car, and during the days I already noticed a worn off clutch. Also, we noticed that there was no Water for the windshield filled in, which is ridiculous in a rented car, and the light was weak.

During our trip the clutch broke, we were towed away to the airport where they told us, that the error is on us, and they need to keep our deposit and get a little extra. It's not possible that I destroyed the clutch during my 800km, added to the already over 45k kilometers that this car had of bad treatment over several years. But yeah, I had to make the payment, and now I am waiting for the insurance company to cover for it. Honestly, it feels like we have been scammed.

But sadly, that's not the end. We had to make a new contract for a new car, but needed to wait for the car to arrive.

After several hours they still had no car available for us, so we asked if we already have a contract with Green Motion for the new one. The employe confirmed, that we don't need to rent the new one with them, so we could finally book a new car with another company

I don't expect a new and really good car when renting a car. But you can't give people a car like this and then blame a broken clutch on the person renting. It really feels like they give bad cars to people that have no insurance with them, so that they can get some money to fix their cars.

I had already rented with them in England, a positive experience that we repeated in Montenegro. We had a practically new and perfect car with automatic transmission. So above expectations, precise and punctual, also very kind. Definitely an experience to repeat

SCAM!!

SCAM!!! The company gave me the car what was not legal to drive!!! I spent whole day at the police station they took my driving license and all documents!!! The company was not helpful at all!!!

A fuir, piège à touristes

Obligé de payer une assurance d'un montant supérieure à la location de voiture car on n'accepte que les cartes a débit différé pour la caution....mais on l'accepte très bien pour payer l'assurance imposée, de plus voiture dans un état pitoyable, chewing-gum sur tapis de sol, pare brise sale, rayures omniprésentes, bruit de roulement.
Personne a l'accueil pas très avenante,ici on est là pour plumer le touriste

Personnel mal aimable, ( on les dérange manifestement), temps d attente très long.
Facture des frais d assurance injustifiés, refuse de nous remettre un contrat.
Alors que nous avions réservé et PAYER la location du véhicule depuis plusieurs jours, à partir de 11 h pour être sûr que le véhicule serai prêt lors de notre arrivée à l aéroport à 17 h nous ont facturé des pénalités car nous ne sommes pas arrivés à 11 h (!) . Nous donne une facture sur laquelle il est écrit "frais pour réservation du véhicule en dehors des heures d ouverture du guichet. Il était 17 h 30 à l aéroport, et le guichet ferme à 20h !!!???
Voilà le genre de pratique malhonnêtes le cette société de location. Plusieurs personnes devant nous ont subi les mêmes pratiques d extorsion.

Be careful, scammers!!!!

Hi, I want to tell you how my experience was at pick up the car from the airport. I arrived at the airport at 2:00 pm. It said that someone would be waiting for me at the airport with a sign and no one was waiting for me. Then I anskd and they told me to go to the counter. I went to the counter and the man refused to remind me of the car. He said that I had to deposit $1,200 if I wanted the insurance. I told him yes. Then he said that the credit card wouldn't go through because they don't accept this credit card. So the only way was to use it for their insurance for 100 euros. Then I asked what was happening with the insurance that I had already done. So he told me that it had to be with the other company. It had nothing to do with me. It didn't interest him. When I asked him to call the company that send me to them, he didn't agree. Then he told me that I was canceling the rental for you. And he canceled it on his own accord, even though he said that everything was through an external company and it had nothing to do with him renting it. But he canceled the cancellation. He refused to rent me the car.only if I pay triple the price on my Old reservation
