Never Again We will Avoid and so should others in my opinion
Arrived on Friday after afternoon after a 3 hrs drive. The welcome was ok. We were checked in and given a map with directions to our allocated pitch. Driving through the site was a little strange as there was no life to place. Strange for the time of year on any site. Our hard standing was stupidly high from the grass to the side.
During the whole weekend all we experienced was others pestering us because we had taken their pitch !! We were shown on more than one occasion the same map as we were given with our pitch number !! The only site management that was visible was one person who has interrupted a conversation between strangers to inform a family of 3 that they had to leave because the site was adults only. The family had been regular at the site for a few years and were not aware of the change to adults only. I like rules as it provides order but there is always room to be courteous
The helicopter may be nice to see but not taking off from the campsite when people are trying to relax. There is an air strip nearby. Hold up there and drive to it !
The whole camp is like a neglected building site poorly managed and not a true reflection of the website. We were made to feel at unease by the single 4x4 vehicle patrolling the tiny area by the man who had very impolitely told the couple with the child to leave. Awful customer service. Awful insufficient facilities. Go somewhere else for much better even at the same prices.. shocking service poor site and NEVER AGAIN
2 stars because I got got to see my fellow army veterans for a few days.
