I bought a hedge trimmer. I purchased as a gift but it was not suitable. In addition, the quality of the equipment was poor. It is not out of the box yet.

I made contact to return but the reply was less than helpful and frankly obstructive. The company is making it extremely difficult . They are insisting the product must be returned to China. I don’t believe the product was shipped from China as it arrived within 2 days.
This is not the standard one expects from purchasing goods in the UK.

There is nothing wrong with our products.
I need to explain that returns are a hassle.
Please note:
1. You need to return the product to China yourself and bear the return shipping cost;
2. After the return is successful, we need to deduct the relevant tariffs and a 15% return fee;
3. If the product is damaged during the return process, it will not be returned.
4. The return policy stipulates that the return address must be provided by us.
Our return address is not the address on the package, we only accept the return address we provide; if you return the package to any other address than the address we provide, we will not be able to receive the package, and at that time, all losses will be borne by the buyer .

If you want a full refund, you will need to return the item and pay shipping costs, as well as customs duties. Returning items from your location to China will cost a lot of money and time.
In this case, how about we refund you 3% of the order and you don't return the package? You can leave items there as gifts for your friends or family.

Absolutely AWFUL!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Strimmer used twice and broke, no customer service number, emails are answered from CHINA, and so helpless, asked for 5 videos in total, to a mth late send me a pice of engine for me to replace that worked for 2 minutes and stopped. REFUSED RETURN AN|D REFUND

I have a Greengoo strimmer which just stopped working. Despite numerous emails to them they have not assisted at all, just saying they want a video but wont confirm what off. AVOID

I ordered the grass strimmer in error, I wanted the hedge trimmer as a surprise for my husband. The product arrived and immediately my husband told me it was the wrong product ordered and we did not take it out of the box and wrappings. I emailed customer services and the eventual outcome was that I had to return the product to CHINA. It was not shipped from China. I had to accept a 3% refund which is a meagre amount. As we are pensioners £128 is a lot of money and we cannot afford the product he wanted now. I feel like I’ve been scammed and that the company are not ‘fair traders” Admittedly it was my mistake however they have shown no empathy in regards to this purchase return.

Scam site, recommended by wolfe consumer org, we bought a Hedge trimmer for £134, photo shows a decent tool. Could only be bought online. When it arrived it was in a plain package branded by the courier company. When we opened it it was a cheap version different name. There was no return policy document or warranty only a cheap photocopy for a manual.
Tried to contact them for return as sold as Greengoo uk, eventually received an email telling me that it had to go back to China at my cost, or they would refund 3% .
This is ongoing.

Do not buy! Poor product & refusal to accept returns.

This is a Chinese based bot company and the positive trust pilot reviews are fake. There is a fake review website listing this as the best hedge cutter on the market claiming it’s German made and it’s almost always sold out which lures you into falsely buying their product because it’s rated number 1 and about £400 cheaper than any other product. I am ashamed of myself for falling for a total scam. Please do your research and never order from

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I bought a grass strimmer from Greengoo.co.uk.
The box contents included 2 lethal looking circular blades: excessive for a quick trim of the edges!. Way too complicated piece of kit and too heavy for me, being a small older lady.
However there was no packing note or company ID on any of the contents nor on the box.
Difficult to reach other than by email. I did so 5 times.
The only replies were to attach instructions for use.
Still waiting for return address after 2 weeks of emails............!!!
AWFUL SERVICE, answers to emails probably by a BOT?

I sent many messages telling this fictitious company that I did not want their machine after reading the reviews, after I ordered it. Stupid me. I congratulated them for adding me to their 'suckers list' I asked them to cancel my order and refund my money as they couldn't have shipped it within an hour of ordering but just received the same replies saying it had been shipped and couldn't be cancelled. Received delivery today and it's a piece of junk. No manufacturers name on it, no BS numbers on battery or charger, no paperwork, no address for return. Instruction booklet gave no guarantee information, no company details as to who they really are, they are totally anonymous to everything and everyone. It's going down the tip tomorrow because I think if I plug it in, my safety will be at risk. I've sent them insulting messages and contacted Trust Pilot asking how can they support them. So now I've just thrown £138 away which I could have done without, PLEASE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, DON'T LINE THEIR POCKETS ANY LONGER.

This company should be banned from selling bought a hedge trimmer on recommendation of a so called expert, but within 20 minutes of ordering tried to cancel only to be told they had already shipped it, the reason for cancellation was reading other reviews, after numerous emails to them they told me to refuse delivery and when they get it back they would refund me, which they did minus £40. For cancellation so please don’t touch this company

It is unfortunate that I read these reviews after I ordered, but before a strimmer was delivered. The parcel was delivered by Evri, but I explained that I did not wish to receive it to the delivery person. They took it back, but it was delivered soon after (it was actually left on my doorstep by Evri). On the Evri site, I checked to see how to return it and greengoo had no return address on their site. It was suggested that I look to see if they (greengoo) were trading under a differnt name. I couldn't find anthing. I went to the GreenGoo site and sent an email indicating I wanted to return the parcel I received no response, 10 days later I sent another email and also filled out their on-line form. On their website there is no phone number, no address and the email address is support at greengoo.co.uk from which no response has so far been received. I spoke to my bank in the hope that they could intervene, they explained what consitutes fraud and could not help further. There are a lot of 5* reviews BUT on scrolling though them I observed that there were many with virtually the same wording [e.g. it was quiet (or misspelled quite) which my neighbours appreciated] I will be going to the Citizens Advice Bureau next to get their advice. Needless to say, I would never order anyting from these people again.
Since reporting the above; I have spoken to Citizens advice consumer service who have said that they will pass the information onto my local trading standards institute who MAY be able to help with this issue. BUT, they did also urge me to urge other people who have had issues with greengoo.co.uk to phone the Citizens Advice consumer service 0808 223 1133. The more people who do, the more likely that Trading Standards will act.
19/07/2025: I have discovered two addresses for greengoo.co.uk - note there is no telephone number on their website and no address, and filling in their online form or emailing them at their support email address illicits no repsonse. The addresses are: 9 Homestead Way, New Addington, Croydon, CR0 0BG and: Albany Road Trading Estate, M21 0AZ, Manchester, United Kingdom. I will be visiting one of these locations soon and will update this review soon after.

Faulty Battery with hedge trimmer, bought for me as a gift. Lasted 20 minutes and would not recharge.
Awful customer service, insisting I buy another one, rather than offering a replacement.
Fobbing me off with email responses, not acknowledging any of the facts, ie used once, won't recharge, doesn't work, product useless without battery.
There are better options out there.... Save yourself the hassle and go with a more reputable and established company.

Still waiting for refund now ghosting me they owe me over 100£ they deducted the restocking fee then the deducted £35 for delivery but it only cost me 10£ to return! The company needs shut down trading standard are going to have to get involved! Don’t buy this crap

Worst company I've ever dealt with. Received my Strimmer and though wow this is great. After not much use and very little effort in gardening the motor failed. The strimmer was still under warranty but after emailing the company I received no response. (Now out of warranty). And trying to find the right motor to fit the strimmer is also proving to be an absolute chore. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.... no after care and no courtesy from seller what so ever. Just go to B&Q it would probably be easier...

Strimmer broke after less than 1.5 hours
Bought a strimmer with a spare battery.
1) The spare battery never arrived, yet I had paid for it. 2) After less than 1.5 hours the strimmer completely seized up and nothing we could do would make it spin
3) I sent a photo but they asked for a video. A video of what since nothing is working. ??

This is a con company. Do not use at all. Did receive strimmer and hedge strimmer very quickly but certainly not of German manufacture as stated. Cheap copies of much cheaper products. Awaiting delivery of extra batteries I paid for and was sent a shoddy tracking number from Chinese carrier which stated it had been delivered, which it has not. The so-called Ariana is certainly not who they say they are and communication is non-existent and passive. This company needs shutting down and banning from all future business endeavours.

It works great on dry grass, though it struggles a bit if the lawn is damp; still, it's good for most conditions.

The hedge trimmer arrived looking shoddy! After charging the battery nothing happened! I asked for a replacement/refund. They asked for evidence, which I sent them.
They decided it was the charger, although I did tell them I thought it was the battery! I received the charger. It still doesn’t work! They asked me to replace the battery at my expense!

This company are not to be trusted! Their item was twice the Amazon price (same item, different supplier).

Delivered within a week of placing order. Did excellent job of strimmimg, on very tough grass.
