Robbie was polite and professional. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained things in a way I could understand. I will request Robbie as my technician in the future.

They would not honor the service agreement for a newer furnace I purchased from a company they took over. They said I had to have had it cleaned yearly by the company they took over. I never signed anything saying that, I sent them the 10 year parts and labor warranty I received from the company they took over. They refused to honor it. Went to ABT and a much better experience! Would never deal with this company again!!

This company has been the most unethical and unprofessional company I have ever encountered.

In the arctic blast of 12/24/22 - I paid $299 for an emergency service call for a furnace I purchased from Green Air Care - Buffalo Grove, IL -- 2 years ago. They disconnected the 2nd stage of furnace in order to get some heat into the house.

The morning of 12/25/22 I had an error code on my thermostat and on the furnace along with a cold house. Called Green Air Care, Buffalo Grove, IL again who had us remove furnace filter, had us reboot furnace. Eric told me if temp drops below 65 in the house to call him otherwise call office Tuesday. I paid $299 for this and they fixed nothing. Thankfully we have a fireplace. Eric also said that when it warms up outside it won't be so cold inside. Seriously, how ridiculous is that. What do I need a furnace for if it's warm outside. I need a working furnace for a Midwestern winter.

I think my investment of over $7,000 that I paid GREEN AIR CARE - BUFFALO GROVE, IL for a HVAC system should provide more than a non functional heating unit and a sharp attitude from this company.

Here I am today 12/30/22 after a service tech was out on 12/27 to verify issue that he did not fix and he was going to order parts per Alex this time. Today 12/30 I followed up with Green Air Care BUFFALO GROVE, ILL on parts status and now was told it has to be re-evaluated AGAIN on 01/03/23. Now it will be (ELEVEN DAYS) 11 days, $299, Multiple Error Codes, filters removed, and they can't fix a unit they sold. They have no clue is what the problem is. This is a CARRIER product. This is ridiculous. It won't be repaired 01/03 since they are still evaluating for the 3rd time and lack of heating issues remains.

This office has mostly been rude, incompetent along with dishonest. They certainly have not shown they know how to repair a Carrier unit they sold.

Additionally, we also got an ultra violet light unit when we purchased the HVAC that never works. They supposedly replaced the UV unit since the light keeps blowing out -- on 11/23 they replaced the whole UV unit and 3 weeks later it failed again. I'm still waiting on that repair too.

All I really can say is BEWARE of the unethical and unprofessional business practices they perform. Have a lot of PTO available since you will need it for all the times they need to come out and do nothing. Read reviews on this company by others since I'm not the only one they are trying to swindle. I sure wish I would have done that first. I have absolutely no faith or trust in Green Air Care in Buffalo Grove, IL.

UPDATE: I hired a reputable company who came in less than 24 hours regarding the Carrier furnace I purchased from Green Air Care, Buffalo Grove, IL. I had been waiting over 11 days for Green Air Care, Buffalo Grove, IL paid $299.00 for nothing and they continued to cancel or re-evaluate a situation that appears to be beyond their scope. Furnace & UV Unit.

The new company - NOT GREEN AIR CARE in Buffalo Grove has addressed the issue.

It was AMAZING dealing with a qualified company and having heat once again which is all something Green Air Care - Buffalo Grove, IL failed to do.

BEWARE and read all the reviews regarding Green Air Care, Buffalo Grove, IL. I'm not alone in this experience.

I will be reporting Green Air Care, Buffalo Grove, IL to Carrier directly and the BBB.

Be careful with them as they provide quote orally and will not adhere when they actually do the work when you ask them, the manager will say that the person commited is not with the company and so they cannot provide what was agreed. They will not provide the quote in writing as well as the invoice and play it for their benefit. Not a trustable company to work with.
