The Peak District is lovely and from the rail trips the views were great. Buxton was very thorough despite the rain. There was a good balance of sightseeing and relaxation.

Very enjoyable holiday. Lovely stand great outings. Hotel very good and excellent staff. Tour leader very helpful and very efficient
Good and interesting time but too much time "wasted" at shopping places and hotel 6 floor hotel room had a lot of traffic noise
With the weather being so good the landscape was awesome.
Not too hectic, good value for money
A thoroughly enjoyable trip exploring an interesting and beautiful area which I had never visited. A visit to Chatsworth will live long in the memory, and journeys by vintage steam trains were a fun way to see the countryside. Excellent tour guides and comfortable hotel.
A very enjoyable well organised break in a part of the country we hadn't visited before.
This would have been 5 star had it not been for the poor food in the hotel.
A good tour but with a large amount of coach travel since the accommodation was well south of the areas visited
Excellent hotel, very good interesting trips out and Barbara was a wonderful tour manager. Very enjoyable from start to finish.
An enjoyable short holiday.
It was my first time in the Derbyshire 'Peak District'. I was not dissapointed. The excursions were superb and very relaxed. Derby, our base for the duration is a very industrial city and fortunatly all our trips were beyond its boundaries. Another great break with GRJ. Well done GRJ.
Lovely hotel and good choice of food. The trips to Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth were excellent with interesting commentary from our driver Roger and local guide Carol. Hassan was always available to provide updates and general information regarding outings.
It was excellent but for the fact we were too long on the coach every day. I would have preferred a trip of no more than 4 hours or the opportunity to spend time in some of the destinations we sped through such as Speedwell and Eyam. The coach driver was excellent and the tour manager was very kind to those on their own. We did not like the black bag tips idea, we would have preferred to deal with that for ourselves. Also I can get on and off a coach or train no problem but would have liked to be able to take my lightweight collapsible rollator for the trips which required more walking such as the walk around Buxton. Surely there was room in the hold of the coach to accommodate my rollator. The hotel was comfortable and the food was tasty. No orange marmalade was a disappointment!
A very enjoyable tour. Well organised and enough variety to satisfy all.
Tour Manager very good but there were a few mis communications. Coach driver and guide excellent. Destinations and excursions excellent. Hotel room poor. Our room had a broken bed and was changed., but replacement room only cold shower. One day only one large towel left in the room. Hotel food no complaints. Hotel waiters, reception and bar staff were well trained.
I'd never been to that part of the UK. I was hugely impressed with the beautiful scenery. The tour manager, Terry, was excellent. A very enjoyable few days.
Wonderful views and charming attractions.
Excellent tour, superb tour manager. Good hotel and good food. The day tours were very good and the local guide excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
Some lovely scenery and pleasant towns. Less impact on me than, say, The Lakes or Dales.
