On the whole I tend to enjoy listening but do wish they’d expand their playlist to cover other decades. I reckon I’ve a larger, more varied playlist on my phone. Most of the presenters are great but Kate Thornton’s afternoon stint needs sorting out as it’s simply boring.

Getting frequent periods of gobbledygook on Greatest Hits Radio Norfolk and North Suffolk. I listen through my Amazon Echo using the Rayo Skill. Connection is via wifi and there's no oroblem with that, but this has happened whilst listening in my car too via DAB. I don't pay to remove ads but haven't had a problem until the last month or so.

Have they given away so much money that they can't afford decent antennas now or are they forcing you to pay to get a stable signal? Either way, I'm back to listening to BBC Radio (no ads).

Way too many adverts and too much stalling for time to avoid playing music.
Sick to death of hearing about that competition to win over 500 grand, it's more like a gambling station than one that plays music.
Nobody cares about what school teachers strangers used to have. Sick of that confession story thing, that is probably all lies anyway and people phoning in to rename song titles.
Anything to stall for time so they don't have to play much music.
If I had a more modern radio in my car greatest hits would be long gone.
Even worse than all the above though are the adverts, some of which need to come with a mental health warning, as they are so repetitive, that they could easily drive a sane person crazy.
That Trade Centre UK advert with that stupid old fashioned voice should be banned before it damages people's mental health.

I've removed Greatest Hits Manchester from my car radio and our radio in work now.

Adverts. Adverts. Adverts.

From the moment of switching on the phone app there are ads to get through. Even when one hears the tune being played through the app, there's an advert being played over it!

The station is becoming impossibile to listen to... I can imagine both Ken Bruce and Simon Mayo saying quietly to themselves: "Come back, BBC... all is forgiven!"

Of course, I know that companies have to pay their way... but GHR is surely now taking the mickey!

Where has good scottish local radio gone. Oh wait greatest hits radio bought them all and is in the process of ditching all the scottish djs and foisting more English djs on us. These djs are generaly not funny or informative and are generaly very boring. Roll on the opening of STV radio and the return of ewen and cat :-)

Who is kate thornton, and how is she still on the air? She's honestly the most frustrating radio presenter I've ever heard - and on an otherwise excellent station. Has anyone at the station listened to this segment? The monologue is dull, flat, and painfully unfunny, with a laugh that grates on the ears. It makes me want to turn the radio off entirely. Other listeners say the same - just look at the reviews. Washed-up “celebrities.”

For years, I only listened to the station after 5 p.m. and had no idea what the earlier shows were like. Don’t get me wrong - I still love the station after her slot. But discovering this show was a major disappointment. Please consider reviewing this program. Afternoons have become genuinely hard to listen to. Please - fix it!

Ken is GREAT Simon Mayo is GREAT, station is diabolical. Listeners are being brain washed by the serious repetitive adverts on this radio station.

ALSO what is the point at th end of adverts, SPEEDING up the advertisers legal obligation, ‘terms and conditions etc etc etc.’ Nobody can understand what the heck is being said. It’s MADNESS. The Government should make these radio stations, play the terms at a sensible speed so listeners can ACTUALLY understand what the heck is being said.

Stopped listening to this station a while ago. Absolutely fed up listening to the phone in give away. How on earth can they afford to give away the sums they are advertising??? Music selection is poor. Same old songs played again and again. Hardly hear anything from the early 1970’s.

I listen to this station at work. Others at work seem oblivious to it's repetitivity. The same adverts over and over, The same "greatest hits".The same competition over and over. The dJ's droning on insisting that they name the song title and band and year every time in a very slow manner, and the new 1 iv'e noticed now is how many times they say the radio station. Really is the worse station i have ever listened to.

DJs who talk to people, not at them. Old fashioned, actually no. Gentle humour, warmth and a chuckle go a long way. We love the present but we don't hate the past... X

Why do these so called 'Vintage' radio stations persist with the same old, same old? The same play list just shuffled around day after day. They are not on their own as the rest of the bunch follow suit ...Heart,Absolute etc. It doesn't matter whether it's 70's 80's music ,all have the same modus operandi. They really should take a leaf out of Boom radio's book. At that station they've got individuals playing the music who were there at the time and remember the period intimately as DJ's and as individuals. They grew up in the period and all conversations are immediately relatable. Got the T Shirt, read the book , ate the pie!! They pursue a play list that is so different and mixed it is absolutely refreshing to listen to. They don't have waffling young idiots who perceive to understand the period and the music that governed. They really haven't got a clue and it really shows, immature,unprofessional are 2 words that come to mind...... I suppose that's progress??????

Absolutely destroyed Signal radio now. Breakfast show with Elliot and Matilda was brilliant, now other presenters… complete trash. No local news or themes, you would have been better completely shutting Signal radio down.

Why is GHR obsessed with playing the same few records every single day like Tracey Chapman Cars or Elton John Don't go breaking my Heart to name but two. Why are they also ignoring 25 years of great music by not playing any hit from 2000 onwards. Martin Kemp is an over excited presenter with a Mixed Tape......yeah right. Ken and Simon are worth tuning into. Kate Thornton needs to lay off the Fags. Des Paul should be on more! Rossie is great at breakfast. Jackie Brambles and Jennie Powell are now where near the calibre of Simon and Ken...... And Claire Sturgess is just boring formulaic and benile. With the worst "message me" topics. Come on GHR play more variety and employ higher quality presenters not celebrities. The world is littered with high quality presenters who have yet to have their break, let's stop celebrating medrocity.

Rubbish now. You had great presenters for Coventry & Warwick now absolutely rubbish. I will find another station.

Secondly about Gemma or anyone who's responsible about 100% randomly choosing the winner . Dear ; listen , half of people in this country are foreigners. UK is a international country. I mean atleast half of your listeners are foreigners . But do you think because we are foreigners we are stupid ??!!! Just Mrs Atkinson could you tell us WHYYY every time the winner is British??!!!! How comes !! Is it because of that 1 minute chat that you have with the winner so you preffer to have a proper chat rather than speaking with one of foreigners ?!!if not so what's the reason Gemma ???!!! Just dont say that's random please because it's the most ridiculous reply ever . I can't undrestand atall .. it so strange.. so odd ..so disappointing...

I do not like this radio station keep playing the same songs on repeat I like radio 2 better it was better when it was dream 100 now this rubbish took over too many adverts you can pay for premium to remove the adverts I have unturned it from my car stereo I listen to better radio station than this I just plugged my phone into the stereo I listen to the radio online

Rossie, Kate and Andy Crane are great. Ken Bruce is the most boring man on radio and i like it when Richard takes over when he is off. Simon Mayo is rubbish now.
Why have the stopped reading the news every half hour? We get adverts and then local news. Not every time but more often than not.

What’s happened to this radio station . Do they ever check the reviews . You need to do something Greatest hits , we are tuning out !
