Great and very healthy product. Taste is good and the Tallow seems very pure. Pleased to incorporate this healthy fat into my healthy diet.

Produktdetaljer
US Wellness Meats loves Beef Tallow because of its diversity. It can be used to cook or fry. It can also be added to vegetables or ground beef to increase flavor. Nutrition Pastry Chefs love Beef Tallow for baking savory dishes. You can also use Beef Tallow to make your own pemmican, candles, or soap.
The small (1.7 pound) container is convenient for home use. However, food buying groups, restaurants, gyms, and soap makers may benefit from purchasing the larger (5-gallon) bucket of Beef Tallow. It has not been bleached, deodorized, hydrogenated, or altered.
Discover the health benefits of cooking with omega 3 and CLA-rich grass-fed tallow! US Wellness Meats’ Beef Tallow (sometimes known as lard) uses a propriety blend of rendered beef suet and beef fats. It is naturally pure white to light yellow in color and has omega 6:3 ratios which are similar to fish.
When comparing fats for cooking and consumption, remember; all fats are not created equal. Conjugated Linoleic Acid or (CLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid (naturally occurring trans fat) found primarily in Beef and Dairy. Studies have shown these fats may provide a whole host of health benefits. These are very different from the trans fats found in manufactured hydrogenated vegetable oils which have been linked to inflammation and obesity.
The reason why grass-fed is important in this regard is because the amounts of CLA present depends significantly on what the animals eat. By most estimates, grass-fed and grass-finished beef and dairy can be 300-500% richer in CLA than grain-fed animals.
If you would like more information on rendering, usages, and storage of Beef Tallow, read US Wellness Meats’ Tallow Blog Page.
Each small container of Beef Tallow averages 1.7 pounds.
All of US Wellness Meats’ beef products are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished.

I'm a big fan of their beef tallow, and have been cooking with it for a while now. It's an ideal compliment to organ and lower fat meats, and it has a high smoke point.

It's the only site I can find this product and can afford it. I believe in the natural fats, rather than seed oils, because that is what I was raised on. I use this as any cook would use it, especially for braising beef, and/or vegetables that will be served with beef. It's very tasty and digestible.

I was looking for beef tallow to make whipped tallow cream. This one by Wellness Meats is great for that. It's very light in color and the beef smell is subtle.

I use this for cooking. It doesn’t flavor the food so I can use it for cooking things like chicken, vegetables and eggs.

I was hesitant as others I’d purchased at the store were horrendously rancid tasting. Not do here! Great product!!
