What Is Liverwurst? Liverwurst (also known as liver sausage) can be made from pork or beef liver and generally includes other meats and a variety of spices depending on the recipe. It's extremely popular in many European countries. Common recipes often vary by country as well as the style. Some varieties are spreadable similar to a pate or paste while others are more similar to summer sausage in consistency.
US Wellness Meats’ Beef Liverwurst is a mixture of grass-fed beef trim (50%), liver (20%), heart (15%), and kidney (15%). It is the boldest organ sausage US Wellness Meats offers and is a tasty way to incorporate healthy grass-fed beef organs into your diet.
Our Liverwurst is sliceable when thawed and is not a spreadable variety. If you prefer a spreadable version, it is possible to combine our liverwurst with cream cheese or sour cream in your food processor.
Is Liverwurst (Liver Sausage) Good For You? In a word...Yes! Organ meats are possibly the most nutrient dense foods available and offer a concentrated source of vitamins, minerals, essential amino acids and healthy fats. Our organ meats are particularly rich in vitamin B12 and Folate, antioxidant CoQ10, as well as important minerals like iron, magnesium, selenium and zinc. It's also loaded with concentrations of Vitamins A, D, E, and K.
All you have to do is thaw and enjoy. Beef Liverwurst is also free of soy, sweetener, dairy, MSG, additives, binders, and preservatives.

It's so nice to find grass fed/finished liverwurst. I appreciate US Wellness caring enough to provide these awesomely clean meats. This tastes fresh and delicious and its packaged very well. I LOVE eating it with salads or in sandwiches. It was hard to find one without other additives. Really love it.

I eat the beef liverwurst often. It's a strong flavor, but really good to add to my diet. I usually have a slice with my huge noon salad. It's wonderful to have such good variety in organ meats from US Wellness Meats.

Always a winner. Always the same great quality and rich flavor with each purchase. We heat this in the toaster oven on a plate in slices/pieces and serve with veggies. Quick fix and filling!!

This liverwurst is absolutely amazing and I'm pleased with its quality. I have some difficulty with its packaging but I'm not sure what alternative packaging would be more convenient for customers. It may just have to be in a tubular wrap. No problem because it's delicious!

A superfood! Absolutely awesome ingredients and tastes so good! It's what your body needs. I eat this everyday. A slice with a fried egg on top or slice it into a salad. So good!

I was a little nervous about eating organ meat as I have never been a fan of liver. The mixture of the meats and seasonings makes this delicious and my favorite meat.

Nice thick slice... Black bread. Whole grain mustard. Sauerkraut. Red onions. Sometimes ketchup.... Heaven. And a great route to adding organ meat to the diet!

Your Beef Liverwurst is delicious, and it's a great way to consume some organ meats on a regular basis. Two complaints: (1) The packaging makes it seem as if it's been on the shelf for awhile. And (2) lately I am concerned with the number of hard little bits (gristle or bone) that I find in the product.
