AWFUL! They sent the wrong dress (and it was fugly) and made it painful to ship back to CHINA! UGH. DON'T ORDER FROM HERE!! There are a million other places your high school daughter can get a one off dress from!

Quick version:
I ordered a homecoming dress from GracePromDress and received an item that looked nothing like the photos — it even arrived with no tags. When I asked to return it, I was told I’d only get a 30–50% refund or I’d have to ship it back to Hong Kong, even though the website lists a U.S. address. This is misleading and feels like a scam. I strongly recommend avoiding this company for important purchases.

Long Version!
I ordered a dress that looked beautiful on the website, but what arrived was not the same item pictured. The dress included a sheer panel and tassels that were never shown online, and it arrived without any tags.

When I contacted customer service, I expected a simple return process. Instead, I was told:

I could only receive a partial refund (30–50%) if I kept the incorrect dress, OR

I would have to pay to ship the dress internationally to Hong Kong (even though the website lists a U.S. business address in Florida) in order to get the full refund.

This return process was never disclosed before purchase. For a U.S.-based customer, being asked to ship to an international “random” address is completely unreasonable and feels deceptive.

DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!

This site is a scam! They send the wrong items & make it ridiculously hard & expensive to return. They say they’re US based but they’re not. I was actually going to ship back the dress as they say you will be reimbursed for shipping but after reading these reviews I know I will never get my money back. Total scam!! They are doing this intentionally.

This company runs a scam. What you order on their site is not what you get and while they list their address as US-based, they are in fact located in China, which makes returns expensive and unsustainable. They offered to refund me 60% for the mistaken item & sent an email claiming to have issued it, but I never rec'd the refund to my credit card. Please beware of this con!

My daughter ordered 3 prom dresses here. Only 2 arrived and they were not the colors she ordered. Contacted them to return and was told it had to be returned to China! So I did ship them back because the dresses were over $200 and was assured they would refund the shipping cost, as well. The refund for the dresses was processed but when I emailed to follow up the shipping cost, the email bounced back & said "address not found." Their info on the website says they're a US company and items were shipped from a US address. I've sent multiple emails but no reply.

This company is a total SCAM!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. The dress they sent me had nothing to do with what I ordered. Different color and complete different style. No tags and the fabric so cheap and poorly made. I emailed them and their response was that their lease with the warehouse in the USA had expired so I was responsible to send it back to China or that I could keep it and get 30% of what I paid. This "company" is just stealing our money.

SCAM! This company presents itself as a company located in the US (I carefully read the return policy and saw the address for returns was in Worcester, MA BEFORE I placed an order). I received what was clearly a knock-off, cheaply made dress and they stole the photo of the dress from another reputable site. I should have known, except for the price ($71), I thought it was legit. I mailed the dress to the address provided (after paying another $15 in shipping fees) and followed up with an email, only to be told their "contract" with the warehouse in MA "expired" and to instead send it to an address in CHINA, AFTER I had already mailed the return. I disputed it with my bank immediately and they credited me back the charge. These people are totally FRAUDULENT and will not return your money to you!

If you want to return anything, they tell you that their lease at the US site has expired, and you need to pay to ship it back to China!! Or you can keep it and they will give you 30%. No worth it.

Do not order from gracepromdress.com! We ordered 3 dresses and when the package arrived only 1 of the 3 dresses was received. The dress that was received was not the same as the dress presented online as the size, the color and the details were different. Also, the dress was of extremely low quality and no tags. When I tried to call the number on their website, I received a voicemail. Looking them up on Facebook, a different phone number is given and same thing when I tried to call. Also, on Facebook, you can see no comments. Assuming this is due to them not wanting anyone to be able to see any negative comments. I did send them an email and surprisingly, they did reply but did not address the fact that we did not receive 2 dresses. You could tell the email was a scripted email to address return requests. They claimed their lease for their return warehouse has expired and that we would have to ship a return ourselves to an address in China and to be sure to send them the tracking number as they cannot process refund if items are lost. They also offered an option of a 30% refund if we keep the items (only possible to keep 1 if we only received 1 of 3). This company is definitely a scam! I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. Hopefully, you have read this review and do not order from them!
