Excellent after-sales service. I have no doubt that their products are of good quality being Japan-made, which is to be expected. What really makes me happy with my purchase is their customer support. I emailed them to let them know that I am having trouble with my package's delivery. I explained to them what happened, and they replied that they will help me get my package. They contacted the courier and gave me updates, and sure enough, my package was delivered to me. Their communication with their customer is excellent and you will feel that you are really important to them. I will surely shop with them again.

I ordered several leathercraft tools from this store, and to my surprise, the delivery was quick despite having postal restrictions caused by the pandemic. This great little shop has been very helpful with personalised advice when it came to helping me select a wood carving tool for a friend of mine. The emails were very friendly and personalised, and felt like they really cared. They also gave me a discount code, without me even asking, as a courtesy. It wasn't for much, but it was nice of them. 😊
They also have a great range of unique tools to chose from and the prices are quite good. They also offer a range of shipping from sea mail post to DHL courier (which was surprisingly cheap). I chose DHL and it arrived within three days! Not bad from Japan. It was well packed, but in a bubble envelope which I prefer, not in those huge, wasteful boxes you get from Amazon that leave you with a lot of trash to throw away. Speaking of Amazon, is it just me or is Amazon just a faceless online strip-mall that won't help, and are now full of con-artists?
I'd prefer to find small independent online store that give you personal service. I'm glad I found a shop like that with goodsjapan.

Goods Japan offers great wood carving supplies selection. But what surprised me is their support. Now a days when you ask for assistance, usually you will be greeted by a bot but that is not the case with Goods Japan. You will be assisted by a real person which is a big thumbs up for me.

Ordered some Japanese wood carving tools from these guys and the sent them through quick. The quality was outstanding, and they were good enough to answer some questions on which tools were best suited for the carvings I had in mind. Try getting that on Amazon! Couldn't be happier.

The tools I bought from goodsjapan.com were of decent quality, though not spectacular, and are generally reasonably priced for what they are. However, postage and customer service were atrocious.
I paid extra for tracking as I was having the order shipped to Australia. For over a week the tracking information just said "Returned to sender". After a couple of emails goodsjapan.com finally told me there had been a problem and they provided me with a new tracking number. This tracking number only told me that the parcel had been posted, none of the usual tracking information you might expect. Then a couple of weeks later the parcel arrived. Last I checked the tracking information still just said that the parcel had been posted. That's not what I paid A$9 for. Goodsjapan.com offered a 5% discount on my next order, but that would mean spending over A$160 just to recoup the money I wasted on tracking.
I ordered nearly A$400 worth of goods and they were posted in one padded envelope. They were just thrown in, no packing to protect them from damaging each other in transit. It's a small miracle that the skiving knife didn't pierce the envelope. A tub of leather finisher leaked and covered everything in sticky goo that took hours to clean off. It's a flexible plastic tub, so it should have been obvious that might happen.
And what did goodsjapan.com say? Well, they're not replying to emails. So, if you're going to order from this company, only buy one or two items at a time (postage is free, but slow) so they don't get damaged in transit, and don't pay extra for tracking.

The error with the address was your fault, so penalising me by refusing to refund the tracking fee I paid for no reason is a little odd. If your mistake cost you money that is unfortunate, but it's not my responsibility. The fact you made the same mistake twice needs no comment.
I told you which item was damaged, it was the tub of leather finisher.

Speaking of outright lying, the allegation that I made a mistake in my own address is a blatant lie. The error was entirely yours.
I never made a demand for money, that is also a lie. I asked that you refund the extra fee that I paid for tracking because you did not provide tracking. It is entirely reasonable to expect to be refunded for a product that was paid for but not supplied. If you don't understand that you should not be in business.
