HP and compatible cartridges!
I ordered some compatible cartridges for my HP8600 pro plus. Unfortunately, they did not work. I tried everything, but HP are very sneaky with their firmware so that you have to use their originals at exorbitant costs. Mark was very helpful throughout the whole saga. In the end, I got a complete refund, and l bought an ink tank printer.
I highly recommend using Good Egg and will be buying my refills from them in future.

the courier didnt drop off
the courier didnt drop off, had to pick up from NZ Post. we are talking a $20 pack of printer ink.
I left instructions to leave at side doorway.
pay $9 freight and still had to go into Town

We understand the frustration — especially for a small item like printer ink — and we agree that having to head into town defeats the purpose of home delivery. Hi Rob - sorry to hear you've experienced a problem with the Compatible HP 905XL cartridges you purchased.
We appreciate this will be frustrating and will do our best to resolve this issue for you asap.
Your HP OfficeJet printer will be displaying the "Non-HP chip detected" error because recent HP firmware updates include dynamic security features that block third-party ink cartridges. This is a deliberate measure by HP to encourage the use of genuine HP cartridges and restrict the use of more affordable third-party alternatives.
The good news is that manufacturers of the compatible cartridges we sell quickly respond to these updates. They update their cartridge chips to ensure compatibility with the latest firmware.
We have sent you an email with more details so we can get you back up printing.
