Our Tanzania safari was the experience of a lifetime. We had a skilled and informative guide that provided a lot of insight into what we were actually seeing. Each of our stops: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara, offered a unique perspective on the wildlife and environment. Every facility was fantastic, and the people who worked there were very welcoming. I'll have to say having a giraffe graze just of the pool deck in the Serengeti lodge was a highlight.

Everything went so smoothly. We had great help in planning our trip and in supporting us through some small challenges. Once the trip began, the adventure began. Our guides were knowledgeable and so fun to be around. The accommodations chosen were wonderful. We were in hotels, huts and tents. We particularly loved the tents. It was wonderful to be out in the wild and at night to hear the animal noises. How special to be sitting by the fire with people from around the world chatting it up when a group of elephants meander by into the brush. All of this under the African night sky and bright stars. The food was delish. I was particularly fond of the soups. One of our favorite places was Crescent Island. So many animals were roaming freely while we just walked around. Unbelievable! We saw more than we ever expected in a few days and from very close up. This was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you Good Earth for all that you did to make our trip a huge success.

If you want an over-the-top visit and safari to Africa, Good Earth Tours is your company and Arif Kassu is your man!! In planning this bucket list trip I talked with at least 6 different operators, but he was the only one truly knowledgeable about making my dream of seeing the great migration river crossing actually happen! Not only did he place me with outstanding guides and well located and divine accommodations in Tanzania, Kenya, and a private conservatory, but he guided me on planning and executing my solo trip with kindness, immense expertise, and aplomb. Throughout the planning process before my departure but also during the entire 2 week trip he offered sage advice and guidance, kept in touch, and arranged every detail with perfection. I am a saavy experienced world wide traveler, but I have never experienced this degree of thoughtful personal attention! Taking multiple internal flights and traveling not only on safari but also touring in Arusha and Nairobi, I was greeted and escorted at every transfer and felt immensely well cared for, safe and protected.
I asked Arif for help with making some charitable donations, and he arranged for an unforgettable visit to a nearby orphanage and a different religious institution of my choosing. These 2 visits were peek life experiences I will always cherish! And I did have the good fortune to see a river crossing by ~10,000 wildebeest- a dream come true thanks to Arif and my amazing guide James! Arif is also a truly fine man and I think you will be as happy as I if you select him. Just do it!

The guide, Elias, and chef, Othman, really made the trip special and unforgettable.
Their care, attention to detail and friendliness is what made the trip our best ever holiday.
I honestly think we had the best experience of all the other guests in the parks. Their knowledge and ability to predict animal behaviour was amazing.

This was our first trip with Good Earth Tours, and we did the Luxury Safari in Kenya and Tanzania. From the start, it was an incredible experience. Baraka helped us plan every detail, and the execution by our guides — John in Kenya and Elias in Tanzania — was flawless.
The camp resorts were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Both of our guides were outstanding — knowledgeable, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. Thanks to them, we had close-up encounters with all the animals we hoped to see: big cats, elephants, hippos, giraffes, and even witnessed the Wildebeest migration!
One highlight was the hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara — absolutely AMAZING!
Baraka crafted an itinerary that delivered on everything we had hoped for. A special thank you to him and the entire Good Earth Tours team for making this our dream trip — and for helping us celebrate our 45th anniversary in such a memorable way. At every stop, from the airport hotel to each safari camp, we were surprised with cakes, singing, and dancing. And they even made the cakes gluten-free for my wife — a thoughtful gesture that brought her to tears each time.
We can never thank Good Earth Tours enough for making this trip so special. It truly was the icing on the cake of our 45 years together.

We recently booked our first tour with Good Earth Tours. We are die hard cruisers and will have completed 74 cruises before our land safari begins with this company. My teaching buddy friend was in Africa on this tour the same time we were cruising the Congo River in Africa. Her pictures were fantastic of all of the animals they saw and when we got home we started to plan the identical trip as hers. We used the same planner and also asked for the same tour guide since she had the perfect experience. All of our questions have been answered quickly and we are thrilled with our planner so far. Our wonderful planner is Arif and our guide will be Fadhili. Our trip is not until August of 2026, but with the help of Arif, getting started was super easy. I hear it only continues to get better.

I just returned from a three week trip to Kenya, Tanzania & Uganda planned out with Good Earth Tours. The planning team was wonderful, promptly answering all inquiries and making adjustments along the way. It was a trip of a lifetime! Our driver/guides were very kind, knowledgeable & there every step of the way. Shout out for Abubakar, our Tanzania guide who went above & beyond! We used a variety of Value, Standard & Luxury Camps. Jackal’s Lair camp & staff were superb, as was the food! Chef came to the table to make sure all was to our liking! Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge was also top notch and conveniently located close to the Gorilla trekking meet up location.
I would definitely recommend Good Earth for your Africa safaris!

My friend and I booked a “bucket list” luxury safari tour with the above company which was in two parts; 7 days in the Serengeti at 3 different luxury camps and a two day luxury stay at the top camp in the Okuvanga Delta at Moremi Crossing. The experience couldn't possibly have been better and everyone we dealt with provided the highest level of service and the accommodations were fabulous. Special shout out to our guide Elias who's become a cherished friend and our booking contact Arif who's been incredible in handling all our concerns.

All three camps we visited were top end, spacious, comfortable, with magnificent views at the last two. The activities and game drives were fantasies come true, mostly made so by our driver, Elias. We had close encounters of an elephant kind you might dream of and a 20,000 Wildebeast crossing as well as others, and things I'd dreamed of seeing come true. We actually saw a herd towards the Central Serengeti that was 5 times the size of the one that crossed also heading to the river Mara. Topped it off with a balloon ride and a tour of the Ngorogoro Crater.

The trip delivered more than expected and the man who organized our trip, Arif (who never sleeps, I swear, 'cause whenever I texted him he responded within seconds) was, in a word, phenomenal. The owner and CEO Baraka, was hands on as well and everyone made sure that our trip was beyond expectation. They keep their word and deliver. 5 Stars. Michael D. Simms

We have used Good Earth for three different tours, climbing Kilimanjaro, large family trip to Tanzania, and immediate family to South Africa. All have been meticulously planned and adjusted to our preferences. Baraka has been an absolute joy to work with all three times. First, the communication with the Good Earth Tours travel specialists was excellent. All of our many pretrip questions were answered promptly and with enthusiasm. Our safari was amazing. Our accommodations were above what we expected (& we went Value or middle of the road), the food was great but it was Good Earth's drivers/guides that probably separate them from the other tour companies. They were both very expereinced and knowledgeable about the animals and all things about Africa (Kenya & Tanzania). And I would give a special shoutout for our Tanzanian guide, Salum, he was amazing. If you can ask for Salum to be your driver/guide and you won't be disappointed. We had an amazing safari!

Everything was seamless. From the planning process which was easy to the quality of the guiding (we are experienced safari travelers). We are glad we booked with a Tanzania-based company. The Tanzanians are the nicest people I’ve ever met by long.

We worked with Arif for a few months before to make sure our trip was catered to our specific requests. Our guide was incredible and he truly made the safari a trip to remember. The accommodations, flights, airport transfers and transportation were all top notch so we felt safe and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Of all the things we enjoyed, the support crew on our trek up Kilimanjaro could not have been better. Personally, I had my doubts about my ability to summit, but with each passing day, thanks to the leadership of our guides Nastory and Emanuel (Eman), my confidence grew and I eventually realized that all I really needed to do was to continue to put one foot in front of the other and I would get to the top. Our two guides would ensure the rest.

While the competence of our guides was beyond reproach, the total experience was second to none. The warmth and support of the porters, kitchen crew, and other staff, set this experience apart. By the end of our trek, we felt we were part of an extended family. Everyone was helpful and generous beyond any possible expectation.

Speaking for everyone in our group, We would give this trip an A++++++ rating.

We had an exceptional trip to Tanzania and Kenya. Baraka and his team had coordinated the whole trip and it was thoughtfully organized including our request for vegetarian food.

The whole process of booking was smooth and they guided us through the visa application as well.

The trip itself was amazing with very good accommodations (special mention to Jackal's Lair camp and the team there), exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable guides who went out of their way to satisfy all our requests.

Fantastic trip experiencing The Great Migration in Kenya and Tanzania. Good Earth Tours handled all arrangements with excellent recommendations which parks and camps to visit for best viewing. Very responsive and customer friendly, customizing to our requests.
The guides , which can make or break a trip, were very experienced and added useful knowledge about the animals and the parks. All accommodations in lodges and tent camps were top notch. A great value. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this group.

I have a few weeks before I leave on my safari but Baraka has been in constant contact with me since I made my first deposit. He has been wonderful keeping me updated on inoculations, etc. There was a trip disruption that just occurred and he worked with me and my travel companion to fix everything to our satisfaction. Have nothing but good things to say so far!
