I wish i could give 0 stars. I placed an order for a Modular Production Cutting Table table but found out after paying online the shipping cost would be $450 when it was advertised for $6.99. I cancelled the order and was told they would process a refund, but it never happened and they basically ignored my many requests and kept the money. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Extremely unprofessional owners.

I am a retired disabled veteran, who does some sewing to help make ends meet. I purchased a Juki machine through Goldstar and when it arrived, it was broken. I returned the machine and it has been six months with no resolution. I message repeatedly and the owner. David just respond with “I’ll get back to you” and then doesn’t. 1 month ago. I posted a negative review and started receiving abusive and threatening messages from the owner. He promised me if I took the review down he would “make it right.”. There still has been no resolution, and at this point I’m out $3000 and don’t even have the machine. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with with a company. Avoid this place at all costs.

Words can't express how disappointed I am with this business. I spent more than 6k for 3 brand new machines here and 2 of the machines constantly having issues that a brand new machine shouldn't have. They also over charged me and after countless phone calls they said their sale department already issued the refund. Nothing! After many more calls and emails all I have back is " I will call you back" or " don't worry I will have someone reach out to fix the problems". None of it happened, only broken promises. And of course after a while I was ghosted by them while my machines only have more problems. Imagine a sewing machine that just stop stitching while running, or it power and off every 5 minutes by itself, or the needle won't stop shaking. And those are only a few problems I deal with everyday since I have it. Imagine an industrial serger that can only serge 2 layers of thin fabric max, if thicker it will keep losing under thread. I hired my own Juki technician and guess what we found out? The machines are put together with USED parts and parts that are NOT MADE for the specific machines. My technician told me 2 out of my 3 "brand new" machines look like floor sample machines. Do not let the low price and free shipping fool you!!! This business is not legit and the owner is a con. STAY AWAY and please please please bring your money somewhere else to invest in good machines and honest service, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!

we spent a lot of money buying 2 machines, one of them is crap they refuse to replace it 1 week after we received it, david the owner talks a lot of garbage making promisses and lying to people, he's not to be trusted at all, find another source deal with Zamir sewing honest guy stay away from GOLD STAR TOOL. you deal with this liar you will be sorry, we are getting ready to file a law suit. we are taking this fool to court i will make him pay for everything he did this is is a serious scammer David Akhamzadeh search it up serious liar STAY AWAY

Straight up thieves and scammers. Placed an order, was charged for it, then I almost immediately canceled the order because I found a better product for a better price from a real distributor. I was told over the phone by their service rep that my order was successfully canceled and refunded. Now after several weeks and many emails and calls to the incompetent service department I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED. They have assured me that I’ve been refunded, and even claimed to have “pushed” a refund through while I was on the phone with them. I have no recourse since there was never any emailed confirmation of my cancellation, and now it’s been almost a month of dealing with this. Just save some money and a headache and don’t do business with these lying thieving scammers.

Never credited or refunded our new original motor return. Sold us a subsequent replacement upgrade that does not fit our machine and will not respond to our continued requests for credit or support. David the Owner is a conman! who does not respect or value his customers!

Ahora estoy tratando de cancelar mi cuenta para no dejar mis datos en esta Web y absolutamente NO me permite cancelar mi cuenta, ni editar mis datos. Llamé a la empresa al 1 800 868 4419, una maquina me hace preguntas a las que debo contestar si o no... cuando yo digo que no estoy de acuerdo, inmediatamente me cuelgan la llamada. No me dan la opción de hablar con algún representante de servicio al cliente. TENGA MUCHO CUIDADO!

I agree with all previous reviewers :( Horrible customer service. My machine was sent to me in a reasonable time, but it was not the same as what was described on the website. At first, it was all peaches and roses. David was so glad to help. He buttered everything up and tried to make me feel special. After I described my issue, he has progressively been very rude to me, ignored my calls and made fruitless promises over and over again. When I call the "office" they just tell me that "No one besides David can help you with your problem, so you'll have to wait for him to call you back because he is busy right now." Seriously? Nobody else can help? I don't want to talk to David, he will just push me off again! I have been trying to get my issue resolved since July, and it's now September. Last communication I had with them was that they said they would just send me a label to send the whole machine back. It never happened, and I called one more time at closing time that day. David just answered and said "I will call you back." then he hung me up. He never did call back and I haven't heard anything more from them for 2 weeks. I am exasperated over this company and their incompetence. I regret ever doing business with them and will never recommend them to anyone. Also, I tried to leave a review on their website, and that is not possible. I am positive that all those rosy reviews depicted on their website are lies and made up. If they were real, then I would be able to leave my review there too.

My 81 year old mother who has Alzheimer’s is a great sewer. She always wanted an industrial machine so when we saw that gold star was having a Mother’s Day Sale we pulled the trigger and purchased her one. We could not track her order or see the details because as soon as the purchase was made her account was removed. So we contacted The owner David. He was very nice at first and said everything was ok the machine would arrive in a few days. The top and leg set arrived first, then the sewing machine. I started to assemble everything and discovered the table was completely broken into across its within. The only thing holding it together was the laminate top. The sewing machine had been reboxed using another brand of machines box turned inside out. The machine was not what was shown on the website or on the videos. It was missing a number of parts, but most importantly the lower tension knob, spring and disc. I called David he did answer and say he would take care of it. The company service representative did send an email and ask for pictures. We sent them. They responded that all of their tables looked like this, as if this were normal. They did not address the missing parts. I contacted David again and again he said he would take care of it. I received an email from a company asking how our experience with gold star tool was. When I told my story David saw it a lost his mind. It was 3:00am in the morning and he email me and told me to REMOVE IT NOW! In capital letters, just like that! Two weeks later nothing has been done and probably never will. You spend big money with this company and do not get what you paid for and then get yelled at and ignored. This company is terrible to deal with. Never does what they say. I purchased another machine for my mother from a reputable Company. Expensive lesson. Don’t be David’s next victim! Tell your friends too! P.S. if the Company were to resolve these problems, I will comeback and give another review.

Goldstar shows a great product on their website and sends you a poor quality similar product. Their customer service denies that the picture is not representative of the product the sent. They say they will provide a refund, after shipping the product back and paying a 20% restocking fee for delivering a poor quality product. Beware

The price was good. Shipping was reasonable. They arrived on time. But...

The parts were falsely advertised to fit my machine. They did not. Not even close.

Then if you try to return them, you have to file a return within 7 days. So, I am stuck with parts that are incorrect as I didn't start my project for until 10 days after arrival. Horrible return policy, intentionally I expect.

I count myself lucky they were not expensive parts. I'll shop elsewhere going forward.

Scam, stay away from this company ! Never received the product purchased $150 on November 29th. When I contacted the company the only answer I got was "it's been shipped out" write with a 50pt font.
Most of the review on reseller rating appear to be fake, but many other customer are in the same position than me.
