I started this program about a year ago when I was in complete overwhelm. Although there is a lot that I haven't been able to absorb in a year, I have to say the program has been completely game changing!
I love Katie and I think that’s a big part of being able to do well from the program. Everyone needs a coach that is the right fit for them. I have been lucky enough to have that with Katie and I’m in a totally different place now! I owe Katie and the team so so much for their love and support! X

Katie has just delivered our annual 2-day Masterclass at Mooloolaba, Australia. This event - Review, Revise, Reinvent Retreat - was tremendously well-received ... principally due to Katie's exceptional content. Of note, the presentation was highly professional and most engaging.

My experience with Gold Medal Coaching did not meet my expectations. While the program appeared promising initially, I found the coaching approach to be inflexible and largely based on applying one business model to all clients, rather than adapting advice to individual goals, circumstances, locations and businesses.

For example, despite clearly stating that my goal was to operate my business four days per week, I was repeatedly advised to spread it out over six days per week, week after week, without consideration for my personal or professional boundaries.

I paid an additional large fee for 12 extra one-to-one coaching sessions. On three occasions, Katie did not show up for the scheduled sessions, with no prior cancellation or explanation, and I did not hear back for several days. A further three sessions were cancelled at the last minute. When sessions did go ahead, I felt that they were not consistently focused on my business, I didn't feel listened to, and the guidance provided was broad rather than tailored.

Despite having 12 one-hour one-to-one sessions in addition to weekly group coaching calls, I felt there was very little understanding of my business. Katie did not know key details such as the approximate number of students I had, the dance styles I taught, or the towns in which I operated. The advice provided felt generic and identical to what others were receiving, rather than being specific or strategic to my goals.

Since leaving Gold Medal Coaching, I have felt a significant sense of relief, and my business has thrived through my own decision-making. In hindsight, I feel that the coaching held my business back rather than supported it’s growth. In 12 months with Gold Medal coaching my business gained just 17 new customers. Since leaving Gold Medal and following my own decision making my business has gained over 70.

Overall, I believe the coaching is overpriced for the level of service provided and would not recommend it, considering there is a mandatory 12 month sign up. I have since worked with alternative coaches who are far more in-depth, genuinely invested in their clients, highly knowledgeable about individual businesses, and more affordable.

Since i joing its only been good advice and i have found the whole process enjoyable.

I have loved working with Katie & her Team at Gold Medal business. Over the past year I have invested in my systems - in particular a CRM system to help automate and handle leads and enquiries. Katies experience and knowledge in this has been a game changer for my business and I have felt a real shift in how my business now operates. I have also expanded my Team and now have a Studio Manager in place. None of this would have been possible without Gold Medal Business and I truly appreciate all the advice and support Katie has given me.

One of the things I’ve appreciated most is how focused she is on getting the financial side of things in order first. That solid foundation has made it so much easier to move forward with confidence in other areas of the business.

Katie makes herself available and is always quick to offer guidance, whether it’s a small question or a bigger decision. Her mix of friendliness, caring support, and strong business knowledge makes her an excellent coach. I’d recommend her to anyone who wants straightforward advice, encouragement, and the tools to build a stronger business.

Can't recommend Katie's gold medal business enough. It's not easy to find a coach that understands the ins and outs of a leisure business, especially gymnastics but with Katie's obvious gymnastics background as a competitor and business owner/entrepreneur all boxes are ticked. Katie is very easy going, great to work with but firm and keeps you on target without overloading. Quick to understand the needs of the business and identifying ways for you, as a boss, to get out of the day to day stuff to focus on strategy & growing your business & finding the best solution for taking it to the next level.
