Parking charges !!!
The app worked really well and showed map and boys had a great time fishing however it said my parking was covered in cost of fishing session, I have now received a parking charge of £100 and have been promised it will be sorted but to no avail so far, if you want this app to work sort out the scammers running the parking , this happened at Argal at Mabe in Cornwall, be aware!!!!

We’re sorry to hear about the parking charge — that’s understandably frustrating. Parking arrangements are managed by the venue and their partners, but we’ll raise this with the fishery team to make sure it’s looked into.
In the meantime, we’d recommend contacting South West Lakes Trust (SWLT) directly, as they should be able to review this and help get it resolved for you.

We understand your point on booking fees. We’ve chosen to keep things transparent for anglers rather than charging fisheries a commission, which often leads to higher ticket prices overall. This way, you can clearly see what you’re paying for the convenience of securing your swim in advance.
For anglers who book regularly, we also offer a subscription from £1.99 per month, which removes booking fees entirely, along with added benefits like rewards and extra features — this can offer much better value over time.

Catch made my fishing better
Catch has made it so much easier for me to guarantee a fishing trip by allowing me to book swims in advance, countless times over the decades I have left at 4-5am only to get to my destination and see lines of cars and vans and after getting in there are no spots left, so I have had to try find somewhere else and always being left disappointed. Now I can book it so I am guaranteed my spot. Also it has allowed me to find amazing lakes closer to home that I didn’t know existed so I get to try new places

Room for improvement
Still needs to be improved in terms of flexibility. Tried to add an extra day to a 24hr fishing trip already booked at the venue but not possible, had to book the next day separately (as it was only for a day session)… and pay another booking fee. Either deliberate to earn extra pounds or just short sighted.

Bookings are set up by the fishery in specific session blocks (for example, 24-hour, day tickets, or in some cases 36-hour sessions), and these need to be selected at the point of booking. Catch only offers the ticket types that the fishery owner has chosen to configure for their venue.
If you wish to extend a stay after booking, this can sometimes require making a separate booking, depending on how the sessions are set up by the fishery. That said, we appreciate the point about flexibility, and it’s useful feedback as we continue improving the platform.

Frustrating now having to book fishing…
Frustrating now having to book fishing through a separate company adding extra cost for my day. Works just as well as calling the fishery to book on. I understand, frees up work for bailifs. They are also a gambling site now offering cars and cash. So more spam now in your email box. 😊

Catch is designed to make it easier for anglers to see availability, secure their swim in advance, and manage bookings without needing to call the fishery. It also helps venues reduce the admin burden on bailiffs so they can focus more on the bank.
We always aim to keep costs transparent during the booking process, and anglers are free to choose the option that works best for them.
In terms of emails, we only send occasional updates and anglers can adjust their preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

Easy site to use plenty of fisheries to choose from all over.
Great app to log all catch reports so can easily keep track of of what you have caught from what fisheries.
Very helpful team if you have any issues they will do there best to get them resolved.
