I love seeing all the classes on Craftsy. There isn't enough time to view them all. I appreciate the personal emails about classes I may enjoy. I phoned for help and a live American speaking person answered my questions. My guests enjoy the classes too. Keep up the good work.

I have been with Craftsy since the beginning. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Craftsy. It has come a long way. With so many videos and so many subjects there is never a time I am bored. I especially like the live classes although lately I have not been able to attend them… but you can watch the class by video if you miss it. I love the free patterns you can download. I have learned so much from Craftsy and look forward to learning more from Craftsy. There is something for Everyone and Craftsy is always adding new classes to so many different crafts and the teachers are all wonderful. Thank you Craftsy!

I have been with Craftsy from its beginning-first with a few lessons, then as a premium member and I feel they are best in their category of online learning lessons. The topics are vast, the videos well done and detailed. A viewer can skip chapters, come back a year later to refresh a technique memory, pause, repeat....frankly everything is easy to control to one's liking while watching the How To videos.

I love Craftsy! I can’t get enough. I love the choice of classes and solid instruction. I know that I’ve gotten a discount on my membership many years and I can share my membership as well.

I have loved Craftsy for years because of the variety of courses at a reasonable price. It's a wonderful platform to learn about all things creative whether you enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, drawing, painting, yoga, or cooking, there is something on Craftsy for everyone.

I have just found out they charged me 150 dollar for an automatic renewal. I joined for 3 dollar their site 5,6 years ago and since then never visited the site. Not my kind of course! And now all of a sudden I have an automatic renewal of 150 dollar that I discovered only checking my bank account. They subscribed me, they did not write of the transaction: nothing. I hope they refund me immediately and that is an error and not a scam

I am an excellant sewer and baker but I have learnt so much extra from Crafsy videos. I am a premium member and it is worth every penny.

I use to have craftsy for many years paying a low rate monthly. I purchased because of my cake business. After a while the videos were the same nothing new. Then i was advised the company was sold and had another name and that content would improve. Not really and prices changed after such a long time i decided to activate again but the price is too high and discount codes done work anymore.

I've been a big fan of Craftsy for many years. It has been incredibly helpful in mastering new skills and improving the ones I already had.

What can I say…I’ve been back and forth with them for days (once they finally got in contact with me). They have charged me a months membership but I can’t watch any videos. It says I’m not subscribed. When I try to subscribe it says “you are already subscribed to this service”.

I check on the Apple Store. Yep, I’m definitely subscribed. I check my bank. Yep, the money has been taken out. I tell them all this AND send them roughly 8 pictures of proof of purchase from different places. INCLUDING their OWN app.

They respond with a generic email response saying “the money has not been taken out of your bank”. I resend them the proof and ask them if they have looked at the pictures…..this goes on for a day. They do not even acknowledge any of my questions, such as “if I’m not subscribed, why is your app, the Apple Store and my bank telling me different”. Yet again, I get no answers. This goes back and forth over about 6 emails.

I cancel my subscription. Apple confirms the cancellation and says “you can still use this service up until the 11th Feb 2025”, confirming yet again, I do inface have a subscription. I ask Crafsty for the money to be refunded. They respond with they cannot do that but if I wish to re-subscribe in the future I can?!?!

I can honestly say I’ve NEVER dealt with anything like it. I’ve disputed the payment with my bank and thanks to them I have more than enough evidence to back up the dispute with.

I only have done sewing courses and every single one has been really helpful and I have learnt so much. The courses are fun to do and easy to follow. I can't recommend them too highly.

I have very limited experience using a sewing machine. My friend wanted to have a t-shirt quilt made out of her son’s t-shirts. Because of Craftsy, I am almost done with the quilt and proud of myself. The instructor gave step-by-step instructions that were clear and easy to follow.

Craftsy has high quality tutorials on an amazing number of topics. The instructors are knowledgeable and provide detailed instruction and close-up of techniques, tips and tricks. They include background info to provide context, so I understand not only "how" but "why." I love Craftsy for knitting instruction and free patterns. My husband enjoys the woodworking classes. And friends regularly use the photography and cooking classes to sharpen their skills.

In 2023, my wife got the $1.99 trial She NEVER got a renewal notice. We got charged $179. We called and cancelled.
And now? We just got hit with $227 from Craftsy. THERE WAS NO RENEWAL EMAIL AGAIN, THEY ARE LYING

We had to cancel her debit card . AVOID this filth company at all costs

I haven't subscribed but most likely will not. I read the negative reviews about renewals without notifications and problems with the renewals. Sounds like CustomerSupport is lacking. I don't need this kind of chaos in my life. I think I'll pass

SCAM COMPANY
Charged me $235 for a service I never used.

I bought the $1.49 trial a year ago. I meant to cancel the subscription and thought I had, but last month I noticed a AUD$188 charge in my bank account from Craftsy.
I received no emails from them at all leading up the subscription renewal or when they took the money out. I immediately tried to get it reversed by emailing Craftsy and also letting the bank know as the unplanned charge had sent my bank account into negative.
Craftsy wrote back in a friendly email that they would refund me 11 months, not the full 12 months as the subscription had apparently renewed a month ago, but the charge was only taken out a month later wierdly enough (I feel this is quite deceptive on their part).
They said they tried to refund me the 11 months but as the bank had put my card on hold they couldn't process the refund or try to process the refund again even though me card was no longer on hold?? And I would need to contact my bank to lodge a dispute.
So, I've lodged a dispute through my bank and 20 days later I'm still waiting to hear if they will refund me or not.
I'm quite disappointed as it has taken a lot of my time to try to get this money back.
I've hardly used Craftsy at all and feel very ripped off. If I could go back in time I would definitely not take up the cheap trial offer.

Another thing to be aware of is that the full subscription price increased since I took out the trial offer, but I wasn't notified at all.

Update Feb 2025. I have now received a full refund from Craftsy (3 months after I was charged), after I lodged a dispute with the bank.

I signed up for Craftsy for myself for the baking and decorating help. But, I realized that there was so much more! I plan on trying a few things I found and now my kids are wanting to do some too!

I, like a lot of people, signed up for an amazing deal on an annual membership. I immediately cancelled the membership so I wouldn't be billed full price the following year. Their videos are very lackluster and most require an additional purchase anyway. Well, the following year Craftsy decided to restart my membership and charge me $130 without my consent. There was no email that they intended to do this and at no point did I authorize this charge. They don't respond to emails or the contact us form and are conveniently "unavailable" during their stated business hours.

Last year I forgot to end subscription and was charged a full year. I wrote an email saying to cancel my subscription. This year they did it again, were going to refund now playing games.
I looked up the founders. Many articles on how rich they are. No shit! They take unauthorised payments out of peoples account.

I contacted CRAFTSY and they gave me a new lie. There answer is contact you bank.
I have screenshots of every conversation with 3 different customer service and they all lie with differently. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY
