Very disappointing experience.

I contacted this company via WhatsApp to enquire about a wheel repair. I was quoted £80 and politely asked whether they would consider £70. The response I received was simply: “£80 isn’t £70.” I found that unnecessarily abrupt and unprofessional.

During the WhatsApp exchange, the person I was dealing with also made a point of telling me that he was “the boss”. If that is correct, I found the manner in which a customer was being spoken to particularly disappointing, as it left me with a very poor impression of the standards of customer service being set from the top.

The communication about the repair itself was also confusing. I was initially given the impression that the repair could be undertaken, but the position then appeared to change as to whether it could be done at all and whether it could be accommodated that day.

I therefore called the business and spoke to Hashem to clarify matters. I explained that I was disappointed with both the WhatsApp communication and the contradictory information I had received. Rather than attempting to resolve the situation, I was told that he would prefer not to undertake the work because he did not want to “disappoint me further”.

That response summed up the experience for me. Instead of addressing my concern about the way I had been spoken to, the solution appeared to be simply not to take the work.

I completely accept that a business is entitled to decline a job, that prices are their decision, and that availability can change. Had I simply been told clearly and politely that they could not accommodate the repair, I would have had absolutely no issue.

My concern is entirely with the manner of the communication, the inconsistent information I was given, and how my concerns were subsequently handled.

Based solely on my own experience, I found the whole interaction remarkably unprofessional and, frankly, a complete waste of my time. I would not use or recommend this company.

Trevor was great with the job. I had given the wrong make of car by email so had to come back again for the job to be done as Trevor had pre cut for the car make I had wrongly given him. No problem, Trevor was very relaxed about the situation and I went back the week later and Trevor sorted it. What a great job! I would recommend anybody to use this company who would like tints on their windows. Great job, great price, thank you Trevor.

I had my car wrapped and had a body kit put on to my car. Go Tints did an amazing job! The team was very friendly from start to finish and kept me updated at al time. I was also given a courtesy car whilst my car was with them. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Had rear window tints done to the rear of my teenage sons new VW Polo & was very happy with the work. Jibran in there customer service was very helpful & advised me. The work was first rate & very competitive. I now realise why local main dealers also use them. I would definatly recommend them for widow tinting & the other car refurbs that they do .

Go Tints were brilliant at every point. Zahid was polite and helpful over email to get booked in and paid a deposit online. Lads in the shop very polite and friendly. They painted my alloys black and they look absolutely mint. So happy with the finished product. Wouldn’t take my wheels anywhere else. Cheers guys

I thought the alloy on my CLA 250 Mercedes was ruined for sure after hitting a kerb at high speed. These guys did an amazing job at repairing for less than half the cost of a new alloy, you cannot tell at all it’s been repaired. Friendly efficient customer service, flexible on dropping off and pick up times and superb workmanship. I’d never go anywhere else now I’ve found these guys, great job.

Used Go Tints on a few occasions now. Always been very professional and on time. Cant fault there work. Had some cars wrapped in ppf coudnt even tell it was on the car it looked so good. Got wheels refurbished and they came out amazing.
Dealt with one of the managers guy called was. Very polite and helpful would definitely recommend

I have had work done to not 1 but 2 vehicles. Both times the work carried was exceptional, factory finish on the alloys I had painted and the same with the windows I had tinted.

Do not use this company.
They make promises, take your money and then don't do what they say.
The work was just about ok but I specifically said I needed a VAT invoice - which they said was no problem. Having chased them 5 times I've given up (and am therefore £80 out of pocket as I can't get the VAT back).

Took my silver audi wheels in for a full refurb, website guaranteed colour match ! however on arriving at reception, the guy at the desk permanently slumped in his seat with a lethargic demeanour half listening to my instructions told me they had to paint gloss black as could not guarantee a colour match! so i went with it regardless as two rims leaked. Turns out they just sprayed over the old balancing glue rather than clean the wheels properly. guy offered to fix the issue but i just did not want them to have my car for another 4 days.
