go-centric has shown me nothing but love and positivity . They respect my opinion and take it in with open arms which is rare in most company's. I feel like I'm apart of the company and not just a little mouse. I might of got lucky but I have never experienced a team leader to have so much passion and energy in what they do which makes my experiences even more enjoyable. My teammates and work colleagues have shown me nothing then respect and love. I am very happy to me currently working for go-centric.

I can't fault the recruitment team and interview process which was very straightforward. I was due to start training on 4th October but on Friday 1st received a call from someone saying the client has delayed start date, this person never introduced themselves, or even mentioned go centric in their introduction. When I asked if I was still training on Monday was told I don't know, not much use to me as I explained I'd already handed my notice in on my job I'd been working at for the last 7 years. I received a call back around 7 in the evening from my recruiter saying if I was happy to change my working hours I could proceed. Foolishly I agreed. Training was for 3 days. Day one was basically installing all the software on to your lap top and tests in the afternoon which you had to pass to proceed to next level. My trainer was totally rude and impatient. I realised at end of first day what a terrible mistake I'd made but family talked me into persevering. Day 2 was good as it was more on the client and running through phone scripts with different scenarios you may come across as call handler. It was then installing the clients data on to laptop. People on my team were having issues with things not downloading and I had one, was slammed down by trainer. Another guy asked if he could clarify something and was told no, it's lunchtime. My contract then came through, not the 30 hours I'd been promised but 16. Reading through the contract it seemed as a call handler you would be under huge pressure to reach targets or disciplinarys would occur. It then dawned on me you have to use your own laptop, your using your own electric, if your laptop incurs a problem you are responsible for getting it fixed within a short space of time. I decided to no longer continue as there were more cons than pros for this job. The 2 days for training that I did do I doubt I will get paid for but lesson learnt. I consider myself lucky as was able to go back to my old job where teamwork is key.

go-centric are a great company to work for. I started in October last year, and have had an amazing journey thanks to a fantastic Team Leader, Recruitment and HR Team, plus our incredible Service Delivery Director, Kelly Arrol.
The people are super kind and always there to help. Each department strives to maintain a friendly environment, with managers providing progression and continuous improvement plans to enable every staff member to reach their potential within the business.
When I see the negative reviews I honestly think to myself that these people couldn't have given the role half a chance. The employee engagement and satisfaction aspect is second to none, with an array of services available for staff members who may not be having the greatest time of it on a professional or personal level, including an anonymous HR Line service, 24/7 employee support line, assistance programmes and 3rd party mental health and wellbeing services, which are available to all staff members.
go-centric genuinely care about their staff and their opinions, which is more than I can say about many call centres, with regular Surveys available for us to give feedback and ideas. They make this process extremely visible from start to finish so we can all see the progress that has been made based on staff suggestions.
go-centric is a family of people doing their very best by the customers, clients, and each other.

Had the laptop sent for nhs then dropped the day before start with no real explanation. Was really looking forward to it and the woman who was helping me did do a great job though.

Was reached out by go-centric and thought might as well apply and go forward. worse mistake ever. there is no organisation inside the company. team leads have no idea what's going on and how to help. The KPI's are not realistic and expectancy is far too high for the call handlers when management cant reach them themselves. The pay isn't great. lower than most companies offering the same role. as for training, no one has any idea what's going on and that if the trainer even turns up. overall I have been at go centric for 4 months and have considered quitting on the spot. The majority of the team have already left us with hundreds of more calls and are expected to finish them all whilst maintaining rapport and good customer service. Shifts are terrible. Having to work 6 days out of a week leaves no social life or work-life balance. the hours are terrible and can go on till 8 pm. Holidays may be approved and can take weeks even with more than enough notice and majority then will be deleted by the management

if I were you and interested in becoming a call handler, I suggest working for another company that knows what they're doing.

I have only been working for the company just over a month now and I have never felt more welcome. I received welcome flowers and a bottle of Prosecco. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful, even if it is only over teams! It’s great to feel included even if you’re role isn’t within a team. This job has gone over and above my expectations. I will forever be thankful for the opportunities go-centric has given me within the company and with my personal life, I cannot wait to see where my journey goes here.

I've been with the company for over 6 months and have to say its been a great experience and really refreshing to see the business have such a positive can do approach. Everyone works extremely hard and the environment is great to be a part of. Looking forward to continuing to see the growth at Go-centric.

What was a great service pre pandemic has severely deteriorated and made us question whether we need to move to an alternative supplier for the first time. Trying to allow for the loss of face to face management and will hopefully return to normal service soon before we lose patience completely. Very defensive when we complain and if that happens then the opportunity to learn from failures is lost.

I applied to work for Go-Centric, all was good but I had trouble downloading their speed test software which I needed to go before my last formal interview. The DAY BEFORE my interview I emailed the recruiter telling her that I had successfully managed to download all that was asked of me. However, I had no response back. On the day of my formal interview, again, NOTHING. No email, no phone call, no microsoft team call (very ironic for a company which is meant to value 'respect' for all). They completely ignored me. I found this incredibly rude and unprofessional. Now I look back and think thank God I didn't end up working for such an unprofessional company. Would not recommend.

Calls dealt with well generally, however there are occasions were changes of contact details are not communicated to front line staff and in some circumstances the right regional contacts ( geographically) are not identified. e.g the communication is thw west mids instead of east mids etc.

Go-Centric provide us with a great inbound and outbound service. The service is very professional and the reports and data I receive help me ensure our clients are dealt with in a timely manner.
I would definitely recommend the service to anyone looking to add a professional call handling team to their business.
