After switching to a new provider they continued to take payments via DD, they refunded after I complained and then they have started again to send me new invoices and now have passed then to a debt recovery agent, avoid this company at all costs!!!

These guys only have the score they have because they ask you to 5 star them at the time you sign up and those guys are good at what they do and will answer all your questions but be wary service is poor after you get hooked up and can be without service for long periods. Check out the lower score reviews before you commit

Been with Giganet, then cuckoo and now allpointsfibre never signed up to the other companies. s

Been with Giganet for just under a year, when it work right no issue, untill this last month, when Internet went off on Sunday the 26th January, on the phone for hours and a ticket went in, rang again Monday, on the phone for hours a new ticket went in, rang again Tuesday on phone for hours a new ticket went in and the same again and again up until Friday 31st January. No Internet five days, told them on Friday I'm cancelling my contract starting from today, the customer service man said the person for cancellation services not back untill 3rd February, no ones phoned me, and still hasn't phoned me date 8th February.
They've ignored my information regarding that I've payed a month in advance sending evidence to prove it, they have never gone in for direct debit payment, even though it's been showing on my direct debit account in the name cuckoo, I have had to pay manually every time by payee. I cancelled the direct debits on my account on that Friday 31st January, because they never went in for payments anyway, every ticket was cancelled with in two days even though no one sorted the problem out. I'm absolutely disgusted that today I've received yet another ticket cancelled with no response to my complaint and my cancellation request, also had email today the 8th February saying I've cancelled my direct debits OMG! NEVER BEEN IN FOR PAYMENT I NEARLY A YEAR...
Still no phone call and the email came in another company name.
Firstly Giganet, second cuckoo, and now allpointfibre. I would not recommend this company. It looks like I'll have to spend another day on the phone because they haven't bothered to contact me at all. Really!!!

Giganet - The worst customer Service

Giganet has one of the worst customer services I've ever encountered.
You cannot get past the first line of call handlers, you can't speak to a manager, even if you insist, they cannot assist you with enquiries or resolve problems...
Very Very Poor Service!

Ok if you don’t get an issue. Double charging on direct debits and not replying to complaints seems to be normal. I can’t wait for other to start using there installed line, these guys are a waste of time

Giganet/Cuckoo a.k.a Allpoints have a…

Giganet/Cuckoo a.k.a Allpoints have a major ongoing network issue for more than 9 days now. They are migrating Giganet to Cuckoo and the migration has not gone smooth - leaving many customers, if not all as I don't know that, without internet for many days. This is such a large service disruption but no mention of it anywhere.

It's shameful that no one at Giganet is taking responsibility, there is a complete disconnect between the customer service and the technical team. They only acknowledged the issue after 8 days and there is still no update when the service will be restored. Another weekend without internet.

Due to this frustration I already started a switch to IDNET on 20/01/2025, that was after no updates for 4 days.

I’ve been with Giganet since 2022

I’ve been with Giganet since 2022, and initially, the service was good. However, since the company was taken over by Cuckoo Internet, things have gone downhill. Over the past week, I’ve had no internet and no clear explanation. Initially, they blamed my devices, but the truth eventually came out—they’ve botched the migration process for legacy Giganet customers to Cuckoo.

To make matters worse, the customer service team is unresponsive and fails to reply to emails. If you’re considering Giganet or Cuckoo, I strongly recommend avoiding them based on my experience.

Left Giganet today. Since the migration of services to Cuckoo I've had little or no service for days only some things can connect some can't with no technical support. Whoever is in charge of the migration clearly doesn't know what they are doing and isn't putting customers first.

Left this outfit in an Openreach to Openreach transfer, the easiest one to do. They made a complete mess of the admin and it took a complaint to get a refunds on money due. They have still not complied with the Ofcom guidelines with no final bill issued amongst other missed steps. Their CGNAT slows your internet connection down.

No customer service at all

No customer service at all - when you finaly get through to india & interrupt theyre day they have no idea of whats going on & just fob you off. Took 6 weeks after instal for it to work as a box wasnt ticked, now its gone out & awaiting a 2nd engineer no show after 2 weeks

Tech support is a joke....

*Update* The irony.. I have not recieved any contact from Giganet regarding my incredibly poor Internet connection. I cancel my Direct Debit has have now changed provider and I recieve 5 messages from the company about my failure to have a payment plan in place! Seriously, don't even consider Giganet/Cuckoo as an Internet Provider.

I have been a Giganet customer for over 2.5 years. Not had any issues until the past month but now the stability of the signal makes it impossible to work from home, dropping multiple times every hour. Now I understand that sometimes these things happen and that's not necessarily the reason for my one star... the Tech support is!
Calling their support line was a joke, the operator came across as someone who just randomly answered the phone, they had no tech skills and I had to explain what a Mesh system is. It seemed they were just asking questions from a script.. not what I would class as Tech Support! Very much a 'computer says No!' moment, and was told that someone would look into it and get back to me.
24hrs on, other than getting an email with a support ticket number, absolutely no contact at all. In fact our internet stability is even worse.
After reading other recent reviews on here, it seems that getting any support will be a miracle, so I am now looking at a new provider that actually cares about their customer.

Over charged every single month

I've been with Giganet for 14 months, every single month without fail they overcharge me. I contact every few months to tell them yet they're still overcharging me.

Absolutely rubbish and run by cowboys!

I cannot believe how rubbish this service is was looking at the flashing box and suddenly lost it. Nearly smashed the "ont" box off the wall. Luckily less than 14 days in. So, cancelled today and switched.

Every time we called, we weren't told what the problem was, was just fobbed off. Well GIGANET, you can do one! Won't tolerate your rubbish any longer.

STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST GOING WITH THEM.

Poor customer service

Customer service is appalling. In fact, it is largely non existent as the phone is rarely answered and emails are ignored apart from a brief support ticket being issued which states that a team member will be in touch shortly - something that never happens.
I have been trying to get Giganet to address my problem since 2nd December as I have an eighteen month fixed price contract but they have increased the monthly rate after just twelve months and also added VAT to what is a vat inclusive rate.
I now have three support tickets dated 2nd December / 18th December / 6th January but no contact made to address the problem and consequently, I am left with no alternative than to action a chargeback with my bank for the amount overcharged.
Giganet have only recently set up a network in my area and I would expect them to be keen to sign up new customers, much of whom would come through word of mouth personal recommendation but I have to say that based on my experience, I would certainly not recommend this company.

If I could leave NO stars I would

If I could leave NO stars I would. Your service is disgusting! Left a vulnerable family with no Internet now for almost a week!. We have called numerous times to be fobbed off! Customer care is NON existent. You haven't even sent an engineer to sort the problem. Your service is WORSE than Virgin, and I didn't think anyone could get worse. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I will not recommend you to anyone. Nor will I renew my contract. Absolutely disgraceful!.

Mismanagement by Giganet means I’ve been without internet for 4 weeks

Initially aimed to switch to giganet in November 2024 with an install date requested for 3 weeks time in December. Turned out my application was declined and they never told me, so my old provider’s package elapsed and have been without internet for 4 weeks. Now requesting expedited installation and they can’t seem to make it happen. The latest install date is 16th Jan and I have no confidence they will actually turn up or install it. Absolute shambles.

How much longer do I have to wait for giganet to sort out this mess

I wanted to provide you with a quick update regarding the unresolved issue. Unfortunately, it has been escalated again today due to ongoing delays. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused.

Not had installation yet

Not had installation yet, but giganet contact Des, was very friendly. The starting offer is fantastic. They are cheaper, faster Internet, faster installation dates than Sky by far 👍

Edit 09/01/2025: I've had installation after a week delay, engineer said it should take 10 minutes to boot up and I'd have internet... well, 4 hours later, no internet.

Our Internet connection has now been down for 14 days and no one at Giganet / Cuckoo is responding or helping to resolve the issue. Here is the timeline of events:

1. Internet went down on 4th December. Contacted Giganet and Mohammed in support said a case was escalated and engineer booked to visit Saturday 7th December.

2. We waited home all day on 7th December but no one turned up.

3. We called 3 times on 9th Dec and they apologised for the engineer not turning up and it would be escalated.

4. On 10th December after we chased them again (spending hours on the phone) they reported "There is a major outage in Reading". We checked their status checker on their website which was showing "no outage" in Reading.

5. Arma in support promised an update, but no response all day so we emailed an official complaint and they responded with support case CS0210477

6. On 11th December we called again and spoke to Aija who said "It is still with our technical team and we have no update". All staff are working from home and have no idea what is going on. They have been taken over / merged with Cuckoo and the whole thing is a disaster.

7. From 11th December to today (18 December) we have had NO RESPONSE from Giganet / Cuckoo.

We strongly advise anyone considering switching to Giganet / Cuckoo to AVOID. They are absolutely hopeless.

MESSAGE TO GIGANET / CUCKOO - We will update this review DAILY with the support you are giving us. Now is your chance to put this right and fix our connection.

**** Update: I am pleased to report that Ashleigh from Cuckoo jumped straight into fixing this issue for us and had it resolved within a few hours. Ashleigh couldn't have been more professional and we are most grateful. 5 stars for Ashleigh - Thank you. I have left the overall review at 4 stars as it shouldn't have taken 2 weeks to get us back online.
