I'm a first time customer & was super happy with my purchase it was a gift box for a birthday surprise & it was well packed, great presentation , fast as delivery. 1 item was missed out of my order but with 1 email to company it was all sorted. Courier service?
I believe that your gift pack is good value. The problem is that you are using couriers that don't seem to understand what timely delivery service means or service in general. Cheap is not the answer.

Thanks for taking the time to review us.
We are currently using NZ Post as our couriers and they have been very efficient and normally deliver in a timely manner. Unfortunately, they have not been in this instance. Your giftbox was dispatched on the 18th July, and normally it does take 2-3 days to the North Island. We apologise that the couriers did not meet this target for this delivery. We will follow up with NZ Post to find out what caused the delay.

The parcel tracking didn’t update at all between the 12th and morning of the 19th and parcel was delivered 3 days late.

Hi Nathalie, your parcel was dispatched first thing in the morning of Wednesday July 12th. NZ Post had updated that it was at Christchurch Airport depot to be dispatched to the North Island. We were unaware that they hadn't delivered this until the 19th July. On following this up, Friday the 14th was Matariki (Public Holiday), followed by the 15th-16th being the weekend. The couriers do not pick up or deliver on those days (unless you have paid for a Saturday delivery), and in the case that wasn't chosen. We do apologise that this took longer that expected.

The website gives a delivery date but is not the actual delivery date, they will send the parcel to the post and then to the destination. I was sending a birthday gift and I did not arrived on that day, I am still trying track the parcel, sent a email to the website asking for help and they never replied.

Hi Elsa, when you ordered this giftbox you asked whether it would arrive on 13th July. We explained that it would take 2-3 days to Auckland as we are based in Christchurch. Your gift arrived, was delivered and received by a business address, (as per your request) on July 12th. You have emailed me to advise that your recipient has not received their gift, and we have replied to you twice with all the tracking details, including a copy of the person's details who signed for this at the business address. You have not replied, to any of our emails. We have also requested a follow up with NZ Post to find out why this has not been received by your recipient. We do apologise for this, as NZ Post are normally flawless with our deliveries, but we are trying to get to the bottom of this for you. It would be great if you could reply.

Great service
Hi, this was an easy site to navigate. The postal delivery was better than on time. I accidentally put the incorrect date for delivery (a week later than it needed to arrive) and did not notice until I had completed the transaction. But a quick message to Gift Genie and they promptly responded and corrected my error.

Great website to use, I used my phone and it was super easy to navigate. I would definitely purchase again! Also love the handwritten note option, it makes for a genuinely thought out gift :)

Prompt delivery and great service.
