Great experience. Jackie was knowledgable about many aspects of my surgery and recovery, and took the time to listen to and address my concerns. Her physical therapy routine has also worked wonders. 5/5

I tried to schedule an appt with Luna for home pt after breaking my fingers. Dealing with the robovoice that answered the phone was completely frustrating and difficult. After I tried to hang up, the voice continued on my end of the phone for TWENTY MINUTES. I couldn't get it to stop no matter what I did. It was like 2001, a Space Odyssey.
Finally a human called me back. After all of that, they told me they didn't have a therapist available to treat me. I was emphatic with the human that the robovoice was not working properly and needed repair ASAP.

Like: ability of therapist to relate well with and motivate the client with good results. 5 STARTS FOR THERAPIST
Didn't like: difficulty reaching a person at Luna to update insurance information if needed. After an hour of waiting, being hung up on, and rudeness, I am preferring to hire the PT on my own. ZERO STARS FOR SERVICE!

If I could rate this negative infinity I would. These people are so dishonest, and they purposely hide the fact that they WILL charge you more if you have insurance even if your insurance won't cover it, even though they have an option to pay less if your deductible is high, but they don't tell you that outright. I spoke to an agent in the phone who snarkily said "Well we didn't HIDE it from you. If you had asked about it we would have told you." To which I responded "How can I ask about something I don't know about?!" Then she realized I wasn't going to be pushed around, hopefully realized it was an idiotic thing to say, and said she'd forward me to her supervisor.
They also have an INCREDIBLY confusing billing page, which has still not been explained well to me. And it's taken well over a year to even tell me how much it was going to cost, after I had had A YEAR OF APPOINTMENTS ! They even say on their website that they won't book you until you know how much it will cost, which also isn't true. So now I have to deal with all this headache and it is ridiculous how much they scam you.

The only reason I went with Luna was because my original physical therapist, who is amazing, was working with them. We'll never again. Save yourself the trouble. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

As a former patient I still had to have a call back to schedule a physical therapist. Once they called back she asked me so many question that I answered properly only to tell me that they had no one available to assign to my physical needs. Wasted my time and now has all my insurance info. Shame on her and the company...What a horrible experience she put me through. I thought they were there to help people. I guess they feel they have the option to pic and choose who they will accept. Funny thing Is I never had to go through this the first time I signed up with them... Shameful... just shameful.

SCAM ALERT - They list United Heathcare's logo on their home page and say it's covered, then charged us $1000 as out-of-network.

They covered my mother's care with just a $20 copay for 2025. We continued in 2026 under the same model. After 6+ months, they said the insurance ran its course.

Fine, except then they hit us with more than $1,000 bill!!

They auto-deducted from my elderly mother's bank account. Said it was out-of-network even though they never told us there was a change or a balance... and no balance showed on our customer portal.

The actual care was decent. They use an Uber model with therapist contractors who aren't well-paid, so your care may vary, but there's no excuse for their deceptive billing system.

Nobody seemed to care or tried to help us. They just referred us to the insurance company. They need to take responsibility to inform clients if there is a balance pending, insurance changes, etc.

I had high hopes for Luna PT at home. I had reversed shoulder replacement and was in need of physical therapy at home was paramount since I was not able to drive. The first person they sent me totally disregarded anything that I had told intake was required. On our first visit, she was over an hour late, without a call. When she finally rushed in, she was full of excuses and told me that she was the person that took this area of Raleigh and that she was really the only choice available. She also told me that her other clients, present and past, loved her so much they would give her gifts. She was constantly late, sometimes up to an hour or more without calling. Then she would rush in, dump a bunch of stuff on me, and rush out. It was rare that she would put any of the exercises on the Luna app to follow. There was never a game plan. It felt like it was very rushed and disjointed. I asked for another therapist. I did get another therapist that I saw twice. Although I liked her, she wanted me to purchase a professional PT table. After a no-show for our third appointment, I was finally able to get a hold of her. She said she was quite ill, going to urgent care and would contact me later. I never heard from her again. During this time a dear friend of mine went into hospice and died. I did not contact Luna until after my friend‘s death (roughly 2 weeks) only to find out that I had been discharged without any notice or contact from the PT or Luna. I did not have a good encounter with this company, or with their PT‘s. I had asked for corporate to call me and discuss the situation, but they never did call or follow up with me. Sadly, I would tell you to not use this company.

My therapist was a seasoned veteran in the skill of directing clients in exercise altechnoque to support the bodybuilding healing and stress control.

For my post-op in-home knee replacement rehab, Luna was easy to work with from start to finish, which I really appreciated in my weakened, brain-fogged state. Dr. Anthony was excellent—experienced, skilled, professional, respectful, and great to work with. He gently "pushed" me forward, explaining the whys behind the exercises, thoroughly answering my questions and making adjustments particular to my level of ability. And he's fun and funny, making a rough experience infinitely better.

Elizabeth is a very responsible therapist along with being very thorough on my therapy. Having someone as responsible as her these days is a true blessing.

Luna frequently fails to show up (three times in 6 weeks) and you have no recourse. The ownership is indifferent and charges you $90 if you miss a session, but they do nothing when their employees do not show up. I encourage everyone to find a more reliable provider.

My therapist Rob is wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and patient and is giving me the best treatment possible. He has given me a regimen of exercises to do based on my current situation.
Luna is a great company!

My disabled daughter could no longer walk up and down steps. Luna sent Doctor of PT ( Dr. William) After 10 weeks, she is healed. Ty luna.

I contacted Luna after my mom fell, and as part of her recovery we wanted to introduce PT. The first available appointment was three weeks out, which of course was disappointing, but i was assured that once a therapist was assigned there would be at a minimum weekly visits (ie there would not be waits). Fast forward, 36 hours before the first appointment they changed the date and time, so i had to scramble to reschedule my schedule so i could be there for the appointment. after the appointment - a consult and some basic mainstream exercises assigned (totally normal for a first visit), i confirmed weekly appointments on the same day/time with the therapist, who was fine with the schedule. An hour before the second appointment she said she needed to reschedule, and eventually cancelled. I wasn't happy given the last minute cancellation but gave it another shot. Not joking a few hours before the second CONFIRMED appointment, the therapist said because i hadn't confirmed directly with her on the chat, she would not be showing up and that her schedule doesn't allow for regular weekly visits.

What a waste of time and money.

Jeff is a thoughtful gentle, professional and knowledgeable physical therapist, not to mention a really nice guy. Was very gentle my first session after hip surgery and is increasing the intensity little by little. So I'm seeing continuing results without being sore.

Andre is great. He knows his stuff. He’s extremely professional and very personable.
