We are not the type of trainers that condition bodies for combat. And we don’t push people's limits and try to break them. No. The only thing we break is the mundane programs that other trainers provide. We develop tailored programs that give our clients confidence so they can achieve more. Fitness programs that are within our clients means; that are achievable, sustainable and fun. And we provide encouragement and support when they need it the most because this is how they grow to become a better person.
Mel has gauged my capacity and fatigue level well. She provides constant feedback regarding correct way to undertake each component of circuit and has provided me with step up and down levels with each different exercise. She is clearly providing a program that will meet my long term goals - lifestyle change and not quick fix. Emilie, local director, has maintained excellent communication and responds promptly.

I was lucky enough to be paired up with Linh Nguyen when I signed up with Get Going and it was a real game changer for me. I have struggled my whole life with my weight and my relationship with food and training. I’ve only ever been able to achieve short term results only to always regain all the weight I’d lost normally with a few extra on top! Linh has totally changed not just the way I look at loosing weight but health and fitness as a whole. I’m 10kg lighter feeling great and still loving training. Could not be happier!!!
I have been doing personal training for a little over a year now and was hesitant to change from my original trainer, however getgoing’s Katrina has completed altered my outlook on exercise, and i am incredibly fortunate to be able to work with her. Not only is she always well equipped with a variety of weights and workout equipment for every session, but more importantly- she never fails to make me laugh and brighten my day. With Kat, I look forward to my training sessions as I know I will always have a rewarding experience with someone who I can relate to, enjoy conversation with, and is extremely knowledgeable about all areas of health nutrition and fitness. Thank you once again Kat for making me a more confident version of myself :)

Working with Justin was by far the best fitness journey I've had, he pushed me every single session and was extremely happy with the results. Would highly recommend to anyone to further there physical development!

I've be training with Max for a few weeks now after not exercising for over 3 years and it's been a wonderful experience. He is experienced, thoughtful and always comes prepared for each session. He listens carefully to all my questions and has a clear vision and plan for for what we are looking to achieve. He is also well versed in nutrition and general lifestyle tips which I have found super useful!
As someone who genuinely does not enjoy exercising, getting a PT has been a great decision and would highly recommend Max to anyone looking to make a positive change in their life, looking to get healthier and be the best version of themselves.

Joining the Get Going team has been great! Their trainers are super helpful, always professional but also very friendly which makes workout sessions less daunting. Working with one of their trainers Max has been amazing as I have found myself going beyond the self imposed limits that generally hold me back. Highly recommend the Get Going team!

Our special needs daughter needed some fitness training as it is difficult for her to keep active. Justin filled that need, building a rapport and keeping her fitness levels up with a variety of exercise routines each week including juggling. If you are looking for a personal trainer I would recommend Justin.

I signed up during the first lockdown when gyms were closed but have stayed on as the work outs have kept me in shape and the personal trainer Linh has been phenomenal. He has listened to my goals and has helped me immensely. It is fantastic having a PT not only focusing on my individual work out but also bringing the equipment needed to help me get to the shape I want to get to. If you want to held accountable then I will recommend this experience to anyone!

My partner and I always enjoy our PT sessions with Laura! We've been training with her for just over 6 months now and can't believe the improvement to our fitness and overall health.
Laura has been fantastic in setting a plan for us each month and we enjoy seeing our progress week to week! From strength, to cardio, to fun challenges, we get to do a bit of everything and Laura always puts our needs first. We couldn't recommend Laura (and Get Going) highly enough.

Laura is an empathetic and hard working trainer! I have always struggled to loose weight and feel like I fit in with a PT, but when my old PT (also from get going) left, I transitioned to training with Laura and felt so comfortable and good training every week! She gives me heaps of workouts to do at home and constant support about all aspects of my health which I love. Highly recommend !!

I had the privilege of having Caitlyn as my PT. She was encouraging, motivational yet also understanding of certain limitations and she tailored our workouts to really help and accommodate my particular needs. Caitlyn is a bright and positive person who made workouts with her a happy experience. I highly recommend Caitlyn.
