Easy to inderstand level of cover

Every thing was upfront at all times and simple for me to decide on which cover to choose,

The original cover was a good price,I found the health add on very expensive.

Terrible company. Requested same paperwork several times. Took them 3 months to settle claim after many emails trips to post office and trips to my GP I will not be taking this review off. The getcover logo is exactly the same. So in my eyes same company

I'm now being asked some 2 years later to remove my review of the appalling service I recieved, as are other users from the looks of trust pilot. The company are citing they don't sell insurance to the UK. My original post was made on trust pilot directly from the website I used, If a change in the business means there are now 2 seperate sites that isn't my issue. I will certainly not be removing any reviews unless asked to do so by Trust pilot.

If I could give 0 I would. Please please do not use this company. After a cancer diagnosis I had to cancel my holiday. This company made my life a misery. Trying to claim is a nightmare. They constantly ask for more and more paperwork, 43 items of paperwork I've sent so far, including Every bank statement payment and the claim is still not settled. It wasn't even for the full amount, only for the part of the payment lost on cancellation.

I took out a travel insurance policy and an online account was set up almost immediately. I however prefer to have my documents posted and requested it.The day after my enquiry an e mail was dealt with informing me my insurance documents will be posted, they however do not provide a posted copy of the policy wording.Dont know what the claims service will be like ,this review is just about buying and setting up the policy.

Nearly impossible to find it

Took out insurance for a recent cruise, this included 2 missed ports due to inclement weather.
I started the claim the day after I returned home.
Within 2 weeks the claim was settled and money deposited into account.
Email and phone correspondence was excellent. Would definitely use again.

Awful Company not worth 1 star !!! bought travel insurance well in advance of trip, in that time i had letter to attend regular check up at hospital for declared condition. Informed them of this as per their terms and they cancelled policy and offered 50% refund. Complaint going to ombudsman.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, DISHONEST

Triable rushed me to get insured then cancelled my policy in the first week due to me having a SP30 that’s was off my licence but not off there system.
Then charge me £170 to be insured for a week and charged me for a number plate change that was 3days before they cancelled.
Stay away from this broker not worth saving £5 less than their competitors.
I will never use them again also customer services didn’t care just kept saying it there policy which I don’t believe it’s just a easy way to make money for nothing.

Avoid like the plague!!!! Most horrible insurance company and claims process I’ve ever had to deal with. Please on the behalf of my terrible experience don’t ever consider this company. They are underwritten by “reactive claims” which are the worst underwriters I think could ever exist. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

One star is too high. If you look on here, they only respond to positive reviews. I took out a policy, over a month ago. I've tried to make a change. They don't answer the phones. The emails are ignored. I now have to take this to the Insurance Ombudsman. Dire company. AVOID!!!

The WORST I've come across, purchased holiday cover... I am now been told that the Policy Number that they sent me by email does not exist, numerous promises of call backs - not one call to date.

Getcover and Mayday travel claims have been amazing after I got covid within a week of going on a 2 week Mediterranean cruise from the customer service to the claims department they answered promptly to my emails and phone calls . I was reimbursed my money even before the cruise would have ended . I thought it would take months . Well done I can now rebook my long awaited cruise

The sales people were nice and really helpful. However when I had to make a claim they said Reactive Claims handled it all. Reactive are absolute rubbish bordering on scammers and they will not speak to you or answer any emails apart from automated reply. After 6 weeks waiting for a stone solid claim to be settled I got the Financial Services Ombudsman involved and miraculously I got paid out. If you are having trouble I recommend you get the Ombudsman involved too.
