We looked at many online and offline kitchen suppliers. A range of kitchens were looked at, including British and German Manufacture. We found German Kitchen Specialist online. Josh is a director and was our constant point of contact. Nothing was too much for him. We had many changes made, including custom made changes to drawers, doors, cabinet heights, widths, etc. Josh would talk through everything on a video call, and then provide updated drawings and plans. We even changed manufacturer once from Nobilia to Schuller. Never once were we made to feel that we were asking for too much or that changes were being made under duress (unlike some UK local suppliers). Once we placed the order (some 2 months after we started with him), he kept us updated every step of the way. The only issues we have had with the kitchen were originally cosmetic and one set of drawer runners to be changed. All done, with the minimum of fuss, and all via email and telephone conversation, where Josh would call me, and not the other way around.

The main reason for choosing Josh was the lack of pushy salesman pitch. He would explain choices, let us know about any negatives as well and then just leave us to decide. No emails or calls to say "have you decided".

From our first conversation about what I needed, through designing the kitchen and checking every detail with me, to placing the order—everything was handled brilliantly. I'm thrilled with my new kitchen, the price is very competitive, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole process. I'll definitely be back and recommend them to everyone!

It was after visiting our local Nobilia showroom for a quote for a kitchen that we decided to look online to compare prices with other retailers of the same product. We came across GKS and were initially sceptical about dealing with a company entirely remotely, who were based so far away from where we live. However, after our initial meeting with Josh Penney via Teams it was clear his product knowledge far outweighed any of the companies we had visited locally and when the quote arrived we were very pleasantly surprised by how competitive the pricing was. Unlike other companies we had spoken to previously there was no pressure put upon us to purchase. We knew the design we wanted to go for and with Josh's advice and recommendations we now have the kitchen of our dreams which is not only multifunctional but is of a fantastic quality. We cannot thank and recommend GKS highly enough!

I can’t recommend Josh and the team highly enough. My kitchen is perfect thanks to Josh’s experience, attention to detail and the incredible range and quality of products. I had my reservations about working with a company that isn’t local to me but needn’t have as the online consultation and speedy delivery of samples was simple, fast and convenient. German kitchen specialties were very competitively priced and the end product has surpassed my expectations. I’m so happy that I’m now working with them on my living room!

Choosing both a kitchen design and a reliable company to supply can be more than daunting. However I was very fortunate as my brother had carried out extensive research around 6 months prior, and found Josh at the German Kitchen Specialist who has now supplied both of us.
I'm not really one to write reviews in general, however Josh could not have been more helpful and attentive to our needs. He was patient with finding the design we wanted and ultra creative with the space we had available. The communication by the company was seamless throughout and Josh facilitated a delay several times when other workmen had let us down.
The kitchen itself is high quality at a very reasonable price, and we could not be more happy with it. During fitting I was in touch with Josh many times, and he was back to me quickly whenever I needed help. Thank you again Josh, we are so pleased with the whole experience.

The whole process of choosing a new kitchen from start to finish was made so much simpler with the help from both Josh and Paul, their wealth of knowledge from the design consultation right up to the final fit has been a great experience. Nothing was ever too much for the team at GKS who have been very accommodating and extremely helpful. Initially we had some concern about dealing exclusively on line, but as we went through the process it turned out to be unfounded and if you have those concerns we would advise you to just go for it, you won’t be disappointed. We couldn’t be happier with our kitchen, the quality and finish is that of a very high end kitchen and such good value for money. We have looked at many kitchens, both German and through the usual high street suppliers. Undoubtedly this is definitely the best one, in all aspects.

Can’t fault the service. From initial contact until delivery of our kitchen the communication has been excellent. Josh was so knowledgeable when it came to planning our kitchen. We are so happy with the layout.
The quality of the cabinets and doors is very high. Feels like much higher spec than some other companies we were looking at.

I’ve been shopping for a kitchen at all the big names, Wren, Howdens, Homebase, Kuchenhaus - tried them all. Came across this company by chance. Josh was fantastic, I sent my floor plan over by email and what I wanted, and in less than an hour I had some plans over. A hour later, I jumped on a zoom for a full consultation on the kitchen. What impressed me most was the complete transparency on pricing so early on. Their website gives some illustrative costs based on kitchen size. Their pricing on units beat every other supplier, and Josh provided full images and a breakdown quote immediately, something no other supplier had done.

They focus on the cost of units, and give you full choice on where you source your appliances - which for me is just another demonstration on their transparency on costs. Once your appliances are selected they build the units bespoke to the appliance.

It has been the best kitchen experience so far. Sadly, I’m currently unable to use them because I’m still trying to recover my deposit from another company to use here - but Josh provided all of this amazing service whilst knowing that I was not yet able to commit due to the financial situation elsewhere. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to bring my business here.

We were referred by a friend who put us in touch with Josh who was fantastic from the start…his knowledge and attention to detail is second to none, and instantly put us at ease.
As with any significant purchase, we did shop around but that affirmed our decision to proceed with GKS, not just because they were able to save us ££££ but the level of service was incomparable.

GKS sell Nobilia kitchens that are premium quality German kitchens that they sell at a price comparable to a Magnet mid-range kitchen.

We were able to order door samples so you can really tell the difference in quality compared to the likes of Magnet, Wren and Howdens.

Brilliant customer service, from the moment I contacted them. The phone number clearly placed on the website didn't take long to get through to an expert who was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Across email as well they were very good and patient with me and the dozens of questions I was asking and changes requested. Products were delivered on time with tracking every step of the way.

Products came with instructions, also supplied in electronic format, so our fitters were prepared in advance with no surprises. They were installed with 1 day, they were that easy to install.

German Kitchen Specialist Ltd supplied a kitchen for one of our developments. I received brilliant attentive service from the initial enquiry. Every question and query answered promptly. Josh had patience and was very knowledgeable when it comes to kitchen design and installation. He gave clever suggestions with design which made all the difference with the finished kitchen. We are so thrilled with our Nobilia kitchen which arrived on time, packaged well and with no issues. The quality is absolutely amazing. I've never seen a kitchen so well finished. I will definitely use Josh again and will definitely be buying Nobilia kitchens again.

From start to finish Josh has been available and helpful - even advising our kitchen fitter. He was patient with questions and allowed tweaks after the order date. He is very knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. We had tried working with a local company also supplying Nobilia but found them unhelpful - once we discovered GKS we understood what good service was available! We are in the final stages of fitting and will put some photos on once everything is done.

A brilliant experience from start to end. Josh worked tirelessly to create the right design for us, nothing was too much trouble - including every time we came up with 'we were just thinking whether this would work,,,' and before we knew it, he would have altered and changed the design to show us what it could look like. The final design he created was innovative and utilised the space we had along with our requirements absolutely perfectly. Everyone who has seen our kitchen comments on how impressive it looks and the tradesman involved with fitting it all remarked on the superb quality of the kitchen. Any problems we have encountered along the way have been dealt with swiftly. Brilliant kitchen, brilliant experience.....thanks GKS.

Love our new kitchen, the units are of really good quality and a dream to fit according to my husband. We paid extra for the island lights all around underneath the worktop and some top cupboards and they look great at night. Josh helped me design the kitchen and was very patient with me asking him to change it multiple times so I could see different designs and costings, he was also very helpful with technical advise and was always contactable. Highly recomend the company.

Josh at GKS was exceptional. Having spoken with a few German kitchen providers, I found Josh to be far more reasonably priced and simply brilliant when it came to communications and designing what we wanted. I naturally was slightly worried that it was all an online/virtual service,but Josh was absolutely fantastic. He got to know us through a detailed consultation, provided a brillitant design on time and on spec and worked with us to get the kitchen of our dreams on budget. And no task was too much for Josh, even when we wanted a few things changed or added in the design. Not only was Josh great when things were good,but when there were a few minor issues (more so with the manufacturer), Josh was on hand promptly to help. Today we have an amazing kitchen and I'm absolutely delighted that we chose to go with GKS. I'd highly recommend them and can't thank them enough.

We had such a good experience dealing with Josh, he was able to spend as much as time we needed in designing the kitchen. I was very apprehensive in the beginning as it was all online until the kitchen was fitted and it was a perfect fit. Plus Josh gave us really good idea for appliance counter which no other companies were able to within a given budget. After sales service has been so good from Josh as we had few hitches in between. Thank you once again Josh, we are very very happy with our kitchen and how the whole process went smoothly.

We started out a year ago with a fairly major full house renovation project involving kitchen relocation in an extension. Like most we went to the high street companies with all their gimmicks etc and also those offering only German kitchens, so we had met a few designers and seen their plans.... and price. From the first zoom meeting with Josh (we had a few, sorry Josh!) it was clearly apparent and reassuring to us that he knew his product and his trade inside out, but equally important, he thought about design details others had just never even considered, which now its fitted make the layout and functionality flawless. There were no selling tactics or pressure of any kind or any obligation at all, just the patience of a saint and a desire to design our perfect space which really would work in reality. Yes, the reservation about parting with large sums of money via an internet based company was initially a leap of faith as reviews were thin on the ground at that point, but we did our background checks as much as we could, knew they were connected to a kitchen company in Newcastle and placed the order. The kitchen itself is now the centre piece, it looks amazing having the German quality that will last a generation. Friends who come all love what Josh brought to life and we love to tell them about it. The price really was a big factor and several thousand cheaper than the high street companies with their big overheads and the small independents looking to profit from the German kitchen reputation. The kitchen arrived complete and on time as arranged, our joinery team commented on the quality of the product to fit and the fact that every item was present as with some suppliers this isn't always the case. GKS were just a phone call away if the fitters had any questions. Finally the aftersales, this is also first rate, we needed a couple of replacement pieces, these were ordered swiftly and without any quibble or hesitation.

in summary, throughout our whole project, if all the companies we used were as professional and knowledgeable as Josh and the GKS team I would have a few less grey hairs sprouting! They have been a delight to deal with from start to finish and come very highly recommended. So much so a friend has seen our finished kitchen and is on with a design for theirs, being a joiner he knows what he's looking for.
