I recently completed the General Assembly Data Analytics Bootcamp and had a fantastic experience. The program was hands-on, well-structured. The instructors were knowledgeable and supportive. What stood out most were the hands-on projects — they helped me apply what I was learning in meaningful ways and built my confidence with real data.

A special shoutout to Sabine - the admissions specialist, who played a huge role in my journey. From our very first conversation, she was encouraging, informative, and genuinely invested in my success. Her support made the decision to enroll easy and gave me confidence from day one. That positive start really shaped the rest of my experience.

I left GA with practical skills and a clear path forward. I’m now recommending GA to anyone interested in data or considering a career change—it’s an experience that truly delivers.

Attending GA has been a meaningful experience that helped shape both my academic and personal growth. The environment is generally welcoming, and most of the teachers are passionate about what they do. They genuinely care about student success, and many go the extra mile to explain things clearly and offer help outside class hours

Totally got ripped off by Caroline and Stephanie. General Assembly is dead or has been dead… it’s all online… paid $3000, got refunded $2900 back. Scam!

I signed up and completed the course at General Assembly for Project manager. It was a complete rip off and time wasted. 4K dollars down the drain. I would NOT recommend this course to anyone or even the company because you do not get a job offer or even help from the instructor after completing the course! Save your money and choose a real place that will help you further your career.

I booked 2x workshops at $350 each. I have multiple times requested a full invoice with VAT, both via email and phone. Due to no response, I have requested the cancellation as per GA's cancellation policy. It's been 10 business days and I still have not heard back. GA owes me $700 and yet I am unable to reach them. Great place to learn Python with real people who will keep you accountable. You can ask your questions to a trainer who is really passionate about it, like James Phoenix. I give James a 5 out of 5.

From January 22nd to April 18th, 2024, I participated in General Assembly’s UX Designer Bootcamp. It was a full-time program, running from 8 AM to 4 PM CST, M-F.

Before committing to the bootcamp, I completed a UX Challenge that provided a taste of what it's like to be a UX Designer. This experience was invaluable, as it not only gave me a clear understanding of the role but also solidified my desire to pursue it.

During the bootcamp, I was welcomed by students of varying experience levels, ages, and backgrounds. This diversity allowed me to learn from others, share my knowledge, and enjoy many late-night laughs.

What I valued most about my time at General Assembly was the hands-on learning experience. It felt like skipping all the boring college classes and diving straight into the exciting parts. We were thrown in headfirst, but with industry experts readily available and classmates to lean on.

As long as you’re committed to the career change to UX Design and everything it entails, you should do just fine and find a job in no time.

The lecturers were very clear in their lectures and they gave great feedback for the projects done.

Instructors were great , I only wish the course lasts longer

When i started it seemed very disjointed, however once we got through to the first Lab it all came together. The choice of instructors was excellent, a variety of personalities and lots of knowledge. They care about the students and are keen to help the students achieve their goals. You get what you put in.

I recently completed the Data Science Immersive bootcamp with GA, and my experience was great. The instructors and staff were very supportive and encouraging, and I could see the effort put in to create a safe and positive learning environment. The curriculum and learning materials were useful and detailed. It is definitely a great starting point if one would like to pivot into the tech industry or acquire related skillset.

A great experience overall. Experienced trainer and training assistants always provided support to enhance our learning journey.

I attended GA and received my digital marketing certificate! My experience was amazing from start to finish of my 10 week course. My professors were exceptional and helpful with every question I had. They guided me and provided me with all the materials to excel during the course. I will recommend GA to anyone who is interested in furthering their education experience.

I learned lots of useful technologies

General Assembly is an all around amazing company! I have taken workshops, classes, and worked for GA, and I can say without hesitation that it is an A++ organization. The classes were incredible--they were challenging and I learned so much. The instructors were fun and the class was totally engaged--I actually really looked forward to taking class twice a week! I would absolutely recommend this company in any capacity--great people, instruction and culture!

Learned exactly what I was expecting and the teachers were all beyond helpful!

Did not see as much value out of taking a GA compared to watching free videos on YouTube. Probably because the class was too basic and was hoping to learn a lot more.

I had amazing instructors who were knowledgeable and provided a good learning environment. Enjoyed having outcomes. Felt very supported and like I wad being set up for success.
