I’ve heard mixed things about gender gp, however in my personal experience I got access to hormones quick (2 weeks) I really recommend Megan, she was extremely supportive and friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns I had and was so funny and bright! :)

I've been waiting on the NHS waitlists for almost 10 years now and switching to GenderGP has been a lifesaver. My consent session with James was amazing, he was so compassionate and kind in what was a very stressful part of the journey, and he explained everything perfectly and submitted my forms very quickly, I could not reccomend going with GenderGP more :]

I had my consent session with Megan, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was kind, understanding, and made me feel completely at ease during what can be a nerve‑wracking process; I felt genuinely listened to. She took the time to answer my questions and even sent over extra resources afterwards, which I really appreciated.

Starting T has been a long‑awaited step for me, and Megan’s support made it feel real and exciting rather than overwhelming; her kindness made it feel like a milestone I could celebrate. Filled out my form, booked a consult the next day and in a week I had the hormones I needed delivered to my door, little bit pricey up front but definitely good for avoiding long wait times through more conventional providers

Extremely good and fast support. Very good organization and nice, supporting and friendly team. Under the high pressure the clients are suffering, it is extremely important to have experienced care. I feel understood and very well taken care

I recently started on my transition journey with GenderGP and I was so happy to discover that a gender fluid, transfeminine-leaning person like me was recognised as someone who can embark on this journey and have this experience.

Initially, I did some research by reading articles on GenderGP website to understand what type of gender-affirming care was best suited to who I am. I then went on to submit the form and register.

From the moment of registration, I started receiving informative emails which were helpful for me to understand the process and take my next steps.

As my treatment plan was being finalised, I scheduled a call with GenderGP advisor Megan (Meg) who is super kind and compassionate, and our conversation felt so validating to me. It was great to hear that the feelings and thoughts I had about myself were shared by other people and that care was available. Meg shared lots of useful information on the call and afterwards via email and I'm incredibly thankful to her for her words of encouragement and support. It’s great to know I can schedule time with her if I need to.

At this point, I feel like I have all the necessary information and support, and I'm more than comfortable continuing on with my subscription and receiving support from GenderGP throughout my journey.

On an additional note (granted I may be missing something), but I would like to see more space dedicated by GenderGP to supporting those who can't afford gender-affirming care. There seems to have been a GenderGP Fund however the link takes me to a page about puberty blockers. I think it's important to keep this area of support alive, because ultimately GA care can save lives and it should be available to those who need it.

I was very nervous to start this process privately but Megan Cartwright was very friendly and knowledgeable which helped me choose the right options for me.
I would encourage anyone to choose Gender GP to help them with their journey.

James Morris had discussed the essential information that was needed for me to feel comfortable and confident about my hormones. He was respectful, kind, and helpful individual to the trans community.

After filling in the initial paperwork (there’s a lot and it’s very thorough in a good way) I had an interview with Meg, and she was absolutely brilliant.

Meg made me feel completely at ease and truly seen throughout our conversation. She took the time to explain everything clearly, and followed up with a detailed email covering all the points we discussed, which was so helpful with there being a lot to take in.

Where to start, 25 (almost 26) been battling with my gender identity my entire life, finally in a place where I’m ready and prepared to transistion and gender GP, specifically James Morris, has affirmed affirmed affirmed, made every second of my truth feel heard and seen. No red tape just honest and caring understanding..
spending a life around people who tell you what you are isn’t possible or real or just a phase to finally have someone not deny but help and direct to a safe understanding of one’s self, James ensured I was aware of everything the good the bad, the danger the freedom, for the first time in my life I finally feel seen and excited for my future as a trans women. And Gender GP truly care.
And that’s something you just don’t find these days. So any information any help, any affirming care. James and the teams as Gender Gp will ensure your saftey and ur affirming care is taken care of with no judgement just affirming love!
