Total scammers. They scammed by Mum who was dying of kidney failure. The toilet was dripping and after they left it still was dripping! They took a chunk of her savings as she was in tears during one of her last weeks on earth. I will NEVER forgive you for doing this to her.

£600 for a dripping toilet then a further £100 (the correct price) to get a decent plumber out to actually fix it.

If this company comes up on a search for an emergency plumber, check the reviews before shelling out ridiculous amounts of money to receive the worst service I have ever experienced. The prices are an out and out rip off and the person that was sent out to fix the problem appeared to be less qualified than a first year student ballet dancer. Be warned.

BAD service and High Charges:- I contacted GBSE for a boiler issue and they sent a person to have a look and without out checking anything properly they simply sent me a charge of 82 pounds and forced me to pay. This has happened for the first time that no work done and asked to pay. I have had issues almost 3-4 years back and when I contacted another company I was told about the call out Charges but they only charged me call out once I got the job done. This is absolutely not fair as it's like robbing money from customers without any work done. I should have checked the reviews about this company as I just checked before writing this review and almost review is the same like bad customer service, robbing customers of their hard earned money. I will never go back to them and would never recommend them to anyone but rather put a comment in other social media that I access.

I don't reccomend this service in the slightest. I called for help with a leaking tap and to replace the tap, which takes around 15 minutes and shouldn't cost more than £30 per hour, I paid a whole 430 pounds. This is an amount that people earn in a week. Completely took advantage of the situation and disgustingly overcharged for a cheap and easy job. Even paying £200 would be a complete rip off but £430 to replace one tap is unbelievable and straight up immoral.

we had a plumbing issue at night so called them. We were told the call out fee and when I asked what else, was told it would be reasonable.

Someone did show up in about 90mins. Reeking of alcohol. Starts typing things on the phone without even asking about the problem. Tells us it is will 289 pounds and hour plus admin fee. When I asked what that is and how much, he wouldn't say. We asked him why he is on the phone and he said he is making a report. We asked how can he wrote a report when he hasn't even looked at the problem.

Once he couldn't tell us how much the admin fee is we asked him to leave. He then tried to negotiate and I just said give me the details of the call out fee. Of course it was more than I was told. I paid it and put is down as "school fees" to not panic and just call the first person that takes the emergency call.

These guys are BIG scammers. Stay away whatever your issue. They are going to fleece you on thousands of pounds. I am not even convinced they know what they are doing.

They always provide poor service nad theyy are extreely expensive. Avoid and save yourself time nad hassle.

Fly ny night operators. make use of you when you are most vulnerable- like whn there is water dripping constantly from the roof. Hourly charges of 370 and admin fee of 474!. paid . The plumbers who attend from these callouts are bigger fraudsters. get your on board by saying that they will cap the emergency call out rates and come back to finish the work . . You agree . they take your bathroom down and then aslkyou to pay upfront and in advance for jobs not completed. they then disappear with your advance and the job half done.. Scam artists populate the service!! beware

Do not let these people near your home. They do not fix anything but will try to trick you into to paying a £350 emergency call out charge, even if you didn’t request one, on top of the £69 call-out charge, simply to tell you that (in my case) your macerator pump is broken. Go figure. After a slight hissy fit on my part, I paid £300 (for absolutely nothing in return), because they pressure you into signing and paying straightaway.
The “plumber” (no name given) then gave me a mobile number and said he would install a new one for £200 cash in hand. NO THANK YOU!
I thankfully managed to find a reliable, trustworthy handyman who completed the job beautifully for £120.

Exceptionally bad customer service !
Company acts as agent for local engineers and obviously skims off the top !
The engineer was perfectly helpful but unable to identify intermittent fault with my macerator, which mysteriously rectified during the visit. I paid £330 and it stopped working after 2 flushes !
I contacted GBSE and they were not interested in any form of follow up commitment which I find appalling !!

It's taken me a while to write this as I was traumatised for a long time following my experience of this company. I can't understand how he's still operating. I was FORCED to pay 600 for 20 min worth of work. The plumber himself was lovely, and I'm gutted I didn't just pay him personally and sacked off this company. When I called up to dispute the bill, the lady was rude and forceful saying the plumber won't leave until I pay up. I felt forced and threatened and worried about the leak so I paid. I'm shocked there are people out there like this.

Stay away from this company, they have false 5 stars review online, today I've been ripped off, to change one valve, literally 25 minutes job they charged me 1009.96 pound. 255 pound per hour labour, they disappeared for 55 minutes to get the part and still charged 2 full hours, plus an insane 145 pound admin fee, I only gave the money because I was in my home alone with my 2 years old daughter, but is not gonna end here.

Don’t know how these people are still in business. Robbing bullies who won’t leave until you’ve paid them.
Tried charging us £2400 to fix a toilet. Argued it and got it down to £1200. Still disgusting price and wouldn’t leave until paid.

Absolutely shocking company, charged £2400 for 3 hours work to unblock a toilet, then apply high pressure tactics on staff members to get paid.

After threats of not paying reduced it too £1250..

Avoid at all costs, agency cowboy company.

Please do not use this company - also under Plumbers Immediately - extortionate fees for a simple job - taking advantage of people in need of help.

They simply rip you off. Stay clear of. I had an engineer turn up for a leak that was my fault. I knew about the £95 call out fee, but was then charged an additional £195 charge for the engineer to eventually not do anything & just tell me my options in a 10 minute chat.....so £19.50 per minute.
I said to the engineer you must be joking about the £195 & was told that this is because they use agency people. It was really late & I was so tired & I paid.
I have sent 2 emails asking for an explanation of the £195 & surprise, surprise no reply yet.

This bunch of cowboy con men carried out a repair to a minor water leak located in the loft of my son's house. They charged £2312.67. Of that charge over £800 was for materials. I have tried to get a breakdown of the materials which were not detailed on the invoice. I have text, emailed and tried to telephone these scammers for the details. They have refused to respond to the polite request each time. It is clear they are unable or unwilling to give the details knowing their charges are a complete rip off. They also recused to leave the property until they were paid. They would not accept a credit card payment! I should have called the police. Total con artists who should be avoided at all costs. You are at great risk if you use this so called company.
