After reviewing your UPS tracking, we can confirm that this package was denied delivery due to unpaid duty fees.

It is shown on the product page that this item is being shipped from a United States boutique. See below.

However, the cost of the duty fee mostly comes from the country of manufacturing; in your case, it is from the U.S.

A kind reminder, that this item was purchased as a final sale item; therefore, a return for a refund will not be an option.

Refusal to pay your duty fee will result in abandonment. This is because you are legally bound to pay your customs charges if your shipment crosses borders as a European consumer.

As for the cost, we do our best to clarify at checkout that rates can be higher than anticipated.

Technically, it is more of a return issue with UPS; the courier will consider the package abandoned and destroy it if the duty fee is not paid -- which means that you will not be able to receive a refund, as there would be no order to send back to the boutique.

Fast delivery, quality product!

I fell in love with a Christian Wijnants denim jacket that a boutique in Durham had 1 of and it was on hold. The only other place in the universe that had it was found via Garmentory. Thank you so much for helping me track it down and purchase it!

Garmentory is an unethical brand and SEEL is a total SCAM! They are like many insurance companies where their mission is to NOT pay you even if you have their insurance and never received a package. Here is my situation- I bought a sweater for my daughters birthday from Garmentory. Garmentory uses SEEL as their package insurance- which I agreed to. My daughter never received her sweater so I made a claim to Garmentory/Seel. After no less than 10 emails back and forth between Garmentory and SEEL - SEEL told me that they refused my claim because I didn't live within 5 miles of where the package was supposed to be delivered. WHAT??? You mean their insurance doesn't work if I send a gift to someone? Where was that ever documented?? So I then had to start the entire process having my daughter submit the claim since her house is where it was supposed to be delivered(this made no sense to me). They then said that she would have to set up an appointment with a notary to validate she didn't receive the item. My daughter is working on set(she works in entertainment in LA), 14 hour days during the week and cannot get on a call with a notary while she is working. She doesn't have a day off until the end of August. They said she had to get on a call in the next 7 days. This is crazy that they would require the proof of burden to be on my daughter, this is why I got the package insured.

To make matters worse, I ordered another sweater for my daughter because I was sure that Garmentory or Seel would provide me a refund. So I have now paid for the sweater twice. I did get the 2nd sweater delivered to my daughter. I even went back to Garmentory and requested that they intervene. They received two payments from me. Clearly I wouldn't have ordered the sweater again if I had already received it. Garmentory refused to accept any responsibility or acceptance that this is damaging their brand. They refused to give me my money back either.
Thus, I called my Chase Visa card- submitted a fraud and they took the money back from Garmentory for the first sweater and gave me a refund. I will never support Garmentory as a brand and will make sure I NEVER choose SEEL to insure any package I ever have delivered. They are a fraudulant company. I don't understand why all of these retailers are making the consumer pay extra now for insurance. Why aren't they responsible for the delivery of their packages? Just another way for taxing the consumers. VERY sad.

Great product. I bought cowgirl boots. I had no luck finding my size anywhere else. I found them with Garmentory😁They shipped quickly in original beautiful box protected by shipping box. They arrived fast with a personalized thank you note that I really enjoyed. The boots were perfect & just what I had been searching for. Very high quality on sale for $100. Off the price. I really recommend buying from them.

I picture this website as a bunch of boutiques in a trenchcoat. You've got people with amazing taste curating and hunting down indie brands that make interesting, original, and well crafted clothes. I've never had an issue with an order yet and I'm always happy with my purchases.
